It should take around 2 minutes for your letdown to occur on the stimulation mode. Here are some things you can try to troubleshoot it: - Check that all parts are correctly assembled and that there are no cracks or damage in the valves, membranes, or tubing. - Check your seal to ensure the flange creates a proper seal against your breast. If air is escaping, adjust the positioning. - Make sure your flange size is correct. A poor fit can reduce milk flow and cause discomfort. You may need to use a flange insert to reduce the flange tunnel size.
I just got this pump and I am trying to figure out where the o-ring goes! It popped out when I took the flange backer off but I can’t tell where it was. It isn’t shown in the instructions that came with it and you didn’t seem to use it in your video. Does it need to be used at all?
Sorry I didn't add it to the video, if you look at the base of the motor (the part that connects the motor to the collection cup) you will see a groove where the o ring fits into. It is there to help secure the pump motor to the collection cup. I should note, my pack came with a spare o ring set. If your pump motor feels loose when connected (which may happen over time) I recommend changing the o ring over then 😊 Hope this helps!
@@haz392 it may be worth contacting Bellababy as it doesn't appear they sell them separately. These look to be the correct size, however not food grade amzn.to/3VK7A5c (#ad)
I have got this pump since September and i kid you not, i have been using it on stimulation mode (8)all along. Thanks for this video i feel informed now.
How is the suction on this pump? I currently have the Paruu P10 but it has been causing discomfort while pumping even though I’m using the correct flange sizes (and it’s quite heavy!)
It has a 280mm/Hg suction strength, which is strong for a wearable pump. However, it does have the 9 suction levels so you can adjust the suction to suit your needs. In terms of discomfort, do you think that from the weight of the pump or the suction strength?
Soon to be mom here, I’m due in a couple days and trying to figure out everything. Where do I order different flange sizes? Also once the nipple is in the flange should there be space or no space at all?
Congratulations 😍 And thanks for the great question! In terms of flange sizes, the BellaBaby flange is a 24mm. So you will need a flange insert that reduces the 24mm tunnel down like this one amzn.to/47B8Ryp (affiliate link). There is a great illustration in this Healthline article which shows the correct positioning of the nipple in the flange www.healthline.com/health/breastfeeding/breast-pump-flange
@rizvanadilbhar8025 if you've got the right flange sizes and the pump has adequate seals, then my next suggestion would be to trial the different settings. You can try on lower suction levels and then work your way up based on your comfort/output. You can also try pumping with the different modes. Everyone is different so unfortunately it isn't a one setting fits all. Your body might prefer the shorter suctions with the massage mode over the longer drawn out suctions with the expression or depth mode (or vice versa). If you still can't get any increase then you might want to try pumping with a different pump to see if you're having the same issues. It could be an issue with the pump where you need to contact the manufacturer.
In terms of a pump, it's an affordable option, so it also come down to your budget. There are better pumps for low milk supply, but there are also lots of factors that can impact your low milk supply that are not related to the actual pump. If you have low milk supply then you can try power pumping to help increase it: ua-cam.com/video/baKXKkMwUZY/v-deo.html You will be able to power pump with this pump 😊
@SmilingGazelle-ox6xm have you measured your nipples to make sure you have the correct flange size? The 24mm that comes with your pump may be too big or too small. If too big, you can buy flange inserts to reduce the size. The next thing to look at is to make sure you're starting on a low suction level (1 or 2) and then slowly increase. If it becomes uncomfortable then drop back to a lower suction strength.

I went to my LC with this pump to check the pressure gage on it and it's stronger than the medela symphony
Using now! Thank you this is my first time.
That's exciting! I hope it all goes smoothly for you ❤

I got only a few drops of milk in it even though I have enough milk supply.. why is it so?
Have you checked to make sure you have the correct flange size? This can have a big impact on your output.

I just finally got this on and my 2yo stares at me and goes “ewwww…. Wow” 😂😂😂
Hahah love it ❤
Can I boil the flanges and other parts in hot water?
Great question- yes you can boil to sterilize.
Thank you 🙏🏻 this was very helpful
Thanks for the lovely feedback! So glad it was helpful 😊
Does it come with different flanges in size ??
No - they need to be purchased separately.
It comes with 17, 19, 21, and 24
@feliciamonacell8002 thanks for the update - they must have started to include the additional flange inserts which is fantastic.
Wow thank you 😊
Glad I could help ❤
Can you talk about the different size of flanges
Thanks for the suggestion! Yes I will try to get a video up on flange sizes soon :)
