Hi! I'm sorry if I pronounced "Knudson" name wrong - I had a really hard times trying to pronounce this word. I still master my english skills so If you found some words which I used wrong way or pronounced incorrectly please point it out to me so I could fix it next time 🙂
You did fine.. Trouble with some new technology equipment manufacturers is that they develop some great new technology driven equipment that puts them way out front but that's about it. They can't seem to get much farther ahead and it's only a matter of time until the others catchup and take market share.....Nevertheless....a great video.
Your English is great brother! Don't worry to awful much about names in foreign languages. Nobody but you folks know how to pronounce Polish names anyhow.
Been working on a 70s model Ford. Was low in tech and innovation but dead reliable. Boss owns that Ford (75hp, naturally aspirated) and a new 2021 Kubota (65hp, turbo) and the older tractor has a hefty amount of torque, comparatively. The newer Kubota feels gutless by comparison. Solid piece of equipment for someone more budget minded in the medium size tractor market.
@@goosenotmaverick1156 10 hp is a lot in tractors. Sometimes even 3 hp makes difference in lower power tractor. And it depends in what gear it is. Maybe kubota wasn't in right gear.
Its really ironic that one of the most level regions of the world developed a hillside tractor. I have been to Crosby many times and it still amazes me that it had a tractor plant. The articulated tractor was also invented in North Dakota by a farmer
Hello from North Dakota! My great uncles built their own four-wheel drive tractor back in the '70s. The heck of it was The big manufacturers is weren't making any real effort to make anything of the sort and out here on the plains of North Dakota and up and down the central Midwest big four-wheel drives were what was called for. Awesome video I always love learning about old iron.
a farmer in brown county ILL built one 1965 I think used payloader axels 671 Detroit and 9 speed Spicer tranny. he all so put 3-point hitch on his station wagon so he wouldn't pay for car plates after 200 tickets he removed hitch from said car put 461 Detroit in a 1968 f250 4x4 put LTD front clip and 12 inches of tin to join the clip to the cab. Then pulled an airstream to mid-south America and back truck and track tore are still at family farm, i think. you talk about a story. his grand son and I rode Harly's some. I would ride over to Jeff's farm to get him, and he would be coursing as he was walking out of one of many barns Grandad took off with my new Harly. will you help me get one of the old ones running. I would say let's just get a beer he will be back soon he is 90 years old.
Also from North Dakota also I personally know people with the same last name and he's saying the last name wrong My grandpa a grandmas brothers build theis trucks with no box or cab and slap a loader on the back end and weld a seat setup so the could drive it the way the loser faced and got the links and stuff hooked up

great video and great tractors. after seeing some videos of regular tractors strugling on italian hills i always wondered if hill side tractors existed but never found out
Ferrari actually made a hill side tractor for vineyard work sometime in the 1990's. I saw one at an equipment day event at Michigan State at that time. About 65 hp if I remember and very low to the ground.
Great info. Thanks for sharing! I am from ND as well but these tractors were all built a little before my time. I hadn't even heard of these guys. If you are looking for another North Dakota story you can look at Bobcat Skid steers and how they started.
Interesting video. I saw one sell a few years ago. I had never seen one. It was one of the green ones. Sold for a good price too! I wonder if they bought it for their collection. I have always wondered about the story of these. Thank you.
Living 3 hours north of Pomeroy, WA, I see these every once in awhile, and I thought they were broken somehow, because the tilt didn’t make sense to me…
When I was in kindergarten teachers told my parents that they should send me to psychologist because I talk about tractors all the time and it could be a sign of autism. never went there and nothing has changed about that 😅
But then you run into the problem of the Engine being tilted for an extended period of time and depending where the Oil pick up is, you may run into the issue of Oil starvation.
Very cool underdog story! Though the soil erosion caused by working the hills in that way is absolutely horrible. Looks like barren wastelands all over the hills where that machine works 😂
People quit building things because of the high cost of materials. Same thing with woodworking. I think they all work together to keep anyone from building anything themselves or developing something better that they will have to buy the patent to.
More a question of Dealer support for Warranty Maintenance. You are going to buy where you have the greatest support. If the best Dealer in your Area is John Deere there are probably going to be a lot of People with John Deere there, same with Case or name the Brand. No different than Cars/Trucks, etc.
Ride up Tennessee interstates during summer. You’ll see normal tractors with big balled dudes riding the hillside like a cruise ship. Yeah much steeper terrain and those dudes go sideways I’ve actually went to the other lane thinking they gonna tip over on me.
Just don't watch the video then rather then tear a guy down who's simply trying to share a story.....jeez man I didn't think he did that bad considering he flat out started the video saying he was from Poland

Grew up farming a few thousand acres, and sometimes still go spend a week or so helping out. We run nothing but deere here in eastern North Carolina!

This is interesting. My family is from North Dakota and we share the same last name as Jerom.
Lol Imagine if some of those squatted truck guys switched to an intense lean & sway so they just looked like these tractors while driving.

there is video about vlatra and valmet but in polish just check @matheo780
How did they keep the oil in the up hill side of the axles
Living 3 hours north of Pomeroy, WA, I see these every once in awhile, and I thought they were broken somehow, because the tilt didn’t make sense to me…
It makes perfect sence to me, sitting level in the seat
What if anything was done to the drive axle bearing lubrication on the uphill side when on incline.

A self levelling cab is all that is required.
But then you run into the problem of the Engine being tilted for an extended period of time and depending where the Oil pick up is, you may run into the issue of Oil starvation.
The whole tractor was self-levelling
You really need more than the cab leveling, Tractor tip over is a bit of a problem as well, especially if you' re the one driving it

So an 855 cummins was having trouble overheating due to plugging the radiator with dust and they thought using an air cooled duetz was the solution? 😂

Nutson??ahh he s from Poland so he can t pronounce K?
my mistake, i thought that "k" is silent like in word "knight"
He studied in japan has trouble with r s also
So what if he is. His e glish is still really good. He also said Nudson not Nutson
e glish ? ,what s e glish ? ,never heard.
Doesn t help much if the name is scandinavian.
knudsen is a norwegian name and is pronounced with a bouncy KnudhsEn
