That's a fucking amazing guitar, I do not give a shit. Sounds fucking amazing, plays even better, is highly customizable, and is super unique. I own both, the Squier and the fender, and they both sound excellent and they're similar. However, you are going to get a lot more playing out of the Fender. It's simply has more durable components, better frets, better everything. But sound wise they both have excellent humbucking pickups and play fantastic
Are you comparing by this video or you have actually compared both guitars physically and playing both side by side? I have both the Squire 51 and this Fender Pawnshop 51. The comparison is night and day. The Fender is way better in every way, quality and sound. Its too bad Fender no longer makes these guitars.
Because squier 51 has Basswood body. It has heavy crunch characteristic. More attack at every notes. So it sounds like have more power, frontline sounding.
I bought one of these just today, at a pawn shop for $100. The knob on the rotary switch was "slipping" and wouldn't turn the rotary switch. At the time, it seemed to not work at all. When I got it home I put a drop of super glue into the plastic bushing inside the know and that fixed it. It works great but the wiring has been hacked.

Maybe its just me but the squier 51 ones sounded better they have stronger character and more original tone

Celkem dobře, ale na rozdíl od fendera(olše) je z lípy, takže je ubasovanější a ne tak čiitelná. Tovární provedení dobré, seřízení však nutné.
