I like these new changes. I was running CoS using a MacBook no extra monitors, I had the NPC character sheets of every needed NPC on my screen (minimized of course)...yes it was quite cluttered and no I don't use macros. So having to just click the token and actions pop up is a plus for me. The handouts without the name is also good. One of my players found a mini statue and I really didn't want them to see the name as they would have to learn what it was and attune to it. Well with the name they can just goggle search it and decide if they want it or not and know exactly what it does. Thanks for the review!!

27:10 The transparent lines are for when you want to use the tunel. You turn them into walls when the player tokens are inside, so they can see only the inside.
I actually like that feature, you can have two tunels overlap and just change which tunel is 'active'.

Started to DM this campaign years ago and after an early TPK, we never went back to it. Eager to give it another run with this update. Thanks for the overview on the update.

Ouch, an actual game over! Where was the TPK?

@@RogueWatson I can't remember which of the towns, but one of them has a group of Duergar hiding out in an abandoned building. The gang went in and got overwhelmed. It was early in my DM days so I probably shouldn't have enlarged all of them 😆

@@CodyM1990 Ah, my PCs were higher level by then, I think like 4? Invis + embiggen, Duergar are great fun, but could def get nasty if unprepared...

There is absolutely a function to change ALL of the tokens to roll without advantage, not auto-roll damage, etc.. There are two sections for settings in Roll20 games and they're REALLY poorly organized so you might not see it that easily. When I get a chance I'll look in Roll20 for where it is and post it in the Discord. Great video, though, a lot of things that were new to me.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, every time I change it, it changes the defaults for future tokens I add, but not for existing tokens/sheets.

Good overview of the update! One thing I noticed that's disappointing is they went over all these tokens doing fancy zoomed in popped out art, but still left in all the tokens that were just a name. Ugh that's so annoying in the campaign modules - just chuck in a generic bit of art Roll20!

Yep, that's bugged me for years. It makes the 3rd party stuff that doesn't have official art unplayable until the GM fixes all those tokens.

There's supposed to be a way to change the default 'To GM' rolls for all the monster and NPC sheets - under settings. But it seems functionally broken because it doesn't work for me in all the modules that I run.

Yeah every time I change it, it changes it for future tokens I add, but not for existing tokens/sheets.

It is available for those who purchased the original before but you have to create a new game for it, you cant just update your old game

Yes, sorry, I meant to clarify that. This is not an update, it's an entirely new "game" in Roll20.

Yeah, you'd have to create an entirely new game. You could create the new game and transmogrify anything you need to move over if you really wanted to, though, it's super easy.
