Wow good stuff .. Im 55 and took care of mine. Still have them. Have the big winne camper . and a few trucks. Thanks jim. I live in Ohio and wish i could see it.
When I was a little kid back in the early 70’s I came home from school one day and found several Tonka Trucks on our back porch. The neighbors behind us owned a trucking company and their kids were teenagers at the time. Their kids had obviously outgrown them so they gave them to my brother and myself. My favorite one was a red fire truck that I could hook the garden hose to and squirt water out of the little black fire hose . Those Tonka’s were not torn up or damaged like you might think. They looked very good and hadn’t been played with much. I’m 56 now and of course I wish I still had those Tonka’s. Thanks to the Ziegeman family of Biola, Ca for giving them to us way back then. I will always remember your kindness.😇
Nice to see Jim still getting around his Tonkas that was a nice one he gave the little boy a green one. I got orange Tonkas one Christmas a dump truck grader and shovel. I don't know whatever happened to those toys.
Amazing I also loved the tonka collection and wish it was my collection too admire every day. KEEP ON KEEPING ON JIM.
