That's awesome! I grew up catholic due to my Mexican family's tradition. I always feared God, but I felt uncomfortable in the catholic church. Why do they refer to the priest as "father," but Matthew 23:9 says, "And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven." Also, the pope made a commercial with other religious leaders saying that we all have different ways of getting to heaven, yet Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life, no one goes to the Father but through me." There's even a pope some centuries back that had the audacity to change the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. On the calendar, Saturday is the last day (7th).

It was Constantine in or around 300 ad who made it illegal for the Christians to worship and rest on the sabbath. Constantine still worshipped the Sun god despite saying that Rome was now a Christian nation. Easter is a pagan holiday too. Just saying, the deceiver is really good at what he does.

At the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church we have started Prophets Fast yesterday that will be in effect until Jan 7, the day we celebrate the Birth of Our Savior Jesus Christ. The fasting and prayer is in remembrance of Prophets fasting and prayer longing to see the Birth of Jesus Christ! We have five public holidays in name of Jesus Christ, His Birth, Baptism, His Crucifixtion on Friday, the founding of His Cross by Queen Eleni, and His Ressurection!
