hi everyone ! some people have asked me about the interview process, and i'm sorry to tell you, but i did not go through an interview. for those who are applying into different programs/departments, DO NOT PANIC. REMAIN CALM AND COLLECTIVE DURING YOUR INTERVIEW. i wish you all good luck and all the best ♡
As a 13 year old wanting to move to Seoul, South Korea to go to Yonsei, this video really helped me understand the protocol on how to apply, Mrs. Nguyen, thank you so much!!
hi ! DONT STRESS. PLEASE FOCUS ON YOUR JUNIOR YEAR, ITS IMPORTANT TO FOCUS ON YOUR ACADEMICS RIGHT NOW. AND IT'S NOT GOOD FOR MENTAL HEALTH. take time to rest and whenever you're free, take time to just research, and really kickstart plans during the summer !! i wish you the best 🥺
hey Katie! does yonsei look at all four years of high school or is it just a formality? I really haven't done well in my junior year, so will that hinder my chances? love your videos!
hi !! yonsei does ask for your transcripts so i believe they look at all four years, but honestly, i did not do as well as i wanted in junior year either !! but i would say that it's definitely worth a try to apply if you're really looking into a school in korea !! i feel like they put a focus on your personal statements more to know more about you and your plans for the future :'))
im 13 and studying abroad is my dream, i have been in a deep depression and havent been up with my studies but the thought of getting in to a good university when im old enough is encouraging me to study more. I really want to study in Korea since i love the culture and the beautiful cities, i am going to learn the language. Im not sure what i want to study but i want to focus on getting myself out of my deep depression and focusing more on my studies so i have a good chance of being able to study in korea, i will watch so many of these videos! 💕💕💕
Hey! Me too I'm 13 as well and studying abroad in korea is my dream too. It motivated me alot to study. I was low on studies at the middle of 8th grade but I'm keeping my grades up now! One of my exams just ended and I had great marks! I'm really satisfied..I'm looking onwards to choosing science..I really love science!
Hello! Just wanna know something: did you get the kgsp scholarship or we have to apply differently for it?? I'm really confused with this university track system for the scholarship 😅 really hope you reply to this😭
at 5:15 in the Video, you said that there are different colleges and when I would choose the same as you, so the normal college, can i also study it in English? bc i cant speak Korean
When apply (Ex. Say I apply to the UIC program) and I want to do the KLI program too, don’t I have to apply to both or do you wait to apply for the KLI program until after you get accepted?
hi ! i dont believe you can overlap programs/departments while attending yonsei, but pls contact the school ! i havent read anything concerning doing two programs, but pls try contacting officials from both departments and see if thats possible !!
Hi im currently doing 12th an j will be passing out in march/april according to the covid situations, so for fall 2021 admissions do i strt applying from now only or do i wait till i get results?
theres so many class of 21' in these comments it makes me excited !! im also a senior intending on going to yonsei for my undergad to study medicine but it seems that all international students must complete a year of KLI before entering their intended major. just wondering if this is true :)
hi !! yes, that is true. it is for students to get accustomed to korea and its language/culture, but if you happen to send in high TOPIK scores, i believe some adjustments can be made !!
Hi there! I would like to ask for international students who would like to apply to Yonsei University, does the university require your SAT scores? Do they mind only a highschool diploma only?
Hello! Im really sorry for asking a question, since you have a lot of questions asking you stuff already, but it would mean a lot if you answer 🥺 sorry again! I actually wanted to ask if the Masters degree in Media communication is taught in English too? Do we have to submit Topik exam scores compulsory? Or just English test proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS) is fine?
Hey! Soz for the questions but I’m planning to take their undergraduate programme. While my grades aren’t that good, (oof) do you think having good TOPIK and IELTS scores would help me out? (Before taking the undergraduate programme I’m planning to take a Korean Language programme) Ty in advance
hi ! i cannot guarantee things like chances of getting in, but i will say that turning in high TOPIK and IELTS scores would make you stand out a bit more between candidates !
Hi, I'm gonna complete my high school soon and ur video is making more determined towards my goal but I also wanna know abt all the scholarship system. I mean which exam do we need to give or all the process. Pls reply☺
Hi! I’m from Ireland and I’ve been googling about these transcripts all day but I don’t think we do them here. Would Yonsei accept exam certificates? Or is there any replacement for them? :)
Hi I'm planning to apply to Yonsei in 2021 but I'm kind of confused on what documents I needed to get authenticated by the notary? Also I really love your videos especially those about EXO because I'm an EXO-L too!
hi ! based on the international guidelines for the fall 2020 semester, the following need authentication: - diploma/expected graduation certificate - school transcripts - identification cards (these do not specifically say apostille, they say authentication, but i just got a apostille for them anyway) i got extra stuff authenticated for every document to be sure or they were an additional document that i needed to prove its authenticity for. and thank you for watching my videos!! hope this helps ♡
Hii I am wondering when the notary came to your school, do you have to sign anything or just the teacher who have to sign it? Because I used be exchange in the state but right now I’m already back in my country so I cannot be there :(
Question if I want to go to Korea this year for a program, do I have to go there before 14 days so I finish my quarantine days? , or what I am confused.
@@katieeexn once this round of applications for their spring semester, will they start to put out the admission guide for fall 2021? Also would you know the difference between college and Underwood international applications
Hi Katie. I really liked this video. I'm in grade 10. I'll be graduating in 2022. I wanted to know what time will be good to start preparing my documents for application because the process seems kind of stressful
hi ! i honestly believe you can start preparing in mid to late 11th grade/early 12th grade, depending on the timing of arrival for each of your documents !! i followed that plan and was able to turn everything in on time !
Sorry to bother you again but I have another question. So I’m planning on apply to yonsei for the 2nd round that’s in October. And I was trying to look up some of the stuff that I would need so I can start getting it prepared and I was wondering, Would we already need to have a passport in order to apply? Or can we get it afterwards.
i would say that you would need to have your passport, but also try to email their offices ! they list both id and passport on their guidelines, so please do email them your question to see if you need both !!
hello! im currently a student from the ph 11th grade incoming 12th grade, here in the ph i don't think we have the equivalent of csat/sat herre :( do u think i can still apply for yonsei?
okay woah, this video is perfect for me, i’m also from california and planning on applying as an international student for college in korea. thank you for this videooo
I'm planning on applying at yonsei too but I'm not able to find much information about psychology department.. Do they provide masters course in English or do I have to get certain level of topik
hi ! for psychology, i believe they are mainly in korean so for masters, i suggest contacting yonsei for korean programs or classes you can enter so you can then take on your masters. but yes, i believe you need a level around 5 or 6 on the topik exam !!
Thank you so much for this video!! Im trying to go to school in Korea and im just very lost aswell stressed out because im not really sure where i can go to school. Still trying to figure it out but this was a really big help!! Thank you again, this was my first time seeing this video/you and I am so happy!!
hi another question because I can't really find the answer on their website but maybe you know if you have to know a bid Korean to study their or if you can start from the beginning while taking courses in Englisch
hi ! i have a question about bank statement like what amount do you have to show in your account when ur applying ? (minimum) i hardly find the information for full time student bc everyone only talk about exchange student so it doesn't help me at all :((
hi ! i don't know the minimum really because i did not have to show a bank statement amount, i would say a stable amount would be okay because there are payment plans for tuition and fees. hopefully this helps !!
Thanks for this katie! Do you know the difference for international students attending regular college at Yonsei and the Underwood International College? What made you choose the regular college instead of UIC?
i believe its really the experience, uic would have more international students to interact with and yonsei would have mainly korean based students (idk if i explained it correctly, sorry!); i just chose the regular departments bc the major i was looking for was at the colleges rather than uic
hi! just watched this now.. im also planning to study in korea and i will be graduating highschool next year.. just wanted to ask if you have to take an entrance exam after you submit papers?? hope you notice my question 🥺
hi ! i noticed !! i did not have to take an entrance exam, but from what i have heard, you go straight to paying tuition and figuring out lodging/classes !!
hello! i have korean language certificates as supplementary documents, do i need to get that authenticated? or just my college results and graduation certificates?
Hey I’m super late but I wanted to ask, does online application need to send thru mail (irl) or thru like email (online) if you could do a tutorial but in the 2024 features, it would be awesome
hey! i just had a question!! like how the letter of rec is supposed to be sent by the teacher did you get it back from them and then get an apostille?? did you end up sending just one mail?
i got my letter of rec back, but since its a handwritten form, it didnt need an apostille, and yeah, i sent all my documents together in one package :)
Hiii Katie...... Actually I will be graduating next year so as for my MSc I want to study in Yonsei is that possible? And if so what are the courses they give for masters
Hey Katie! I know that this was a few years back; but I had a question about Yonsei University. When did you get an email notice about having an interview?
hi ! your parents' passports do not have to be american/from the united states !! they can be from other countries outside of south korea too, i am not sure if there are restrictions, but as far as i know, you should still be able to apply. hope this helps !
Hey there ! I wanted to ask that does yonsei have undergraduate college of medicine because I couldn't find it on the website. Please help me with this 🙏
hi ! the college of medicine should be listed on the guidelines that is on the international undergraduate admissions site !! BUT in the case that it is not, PLEASE CONTACT YONSEI ABOUT IT. I'VE ACTUALLY READ ABOUT THE PRE-MEDICINE AND PRE-NURSING DEPARTMENTS AT YONSEI, BUT I AM NOT 100% ABOUT IT BEING ON THE CURRENT GUIDELINES
This video is very helpful! . Btw i’m from Malaysia, and this university is my dream university. Do you think SAT/ACT actually helps your acceptance rate?
Hey! I'm not sure if you answered this but do you know what a good SAT score would be? I'm planning on applying for Fall of 2021 and how much tuition would be?
hi ! sorry, i do not know what a good SAT score would be for yonsei, i got a 1250 on the exam if that helps in any way. the SAT is suggested, but not required !!
hi ! so sorry this is late, after talking with a friend who is attending yonsei, tuition for the first year is around $11,000 in GLC (if you are not accustomed to korean and such). then, it depends on your department for the next 3 years
hi ! it's alright !! in my opinion, your documents need to be notarized and have an apostille before getting your decisions, but if anything is missing/not turned in, yonsei will contact you directly about it !!
Omg... I’m preparing my application and I’m DYING! I applied online (why is a windows computer needed though.......) and now I’m trying to get all my documents and TRANSLATE them + verify them or whatever (I live in Switzerland so most of them are in French). Did you handwrite every form though?? Like not only your essay but the rest, such as the recommendation letter from a teacher etc or must that be done in a computer? I’m freaking out lol but your videos are soooo helpful! Thank you for having taken the time to put these online 💛
this is so helpful!!! im actually planning to attend fall 2020 or spring 2021 in Yonsei as well 😭😭 the application's still ongoing but i only have a month left and the lockdown isnt making anything easier!!! do u think i have enough time to send it in before June 4? i've filled out the online application but i havent paid lol 😂
hi ! i believe it can be possible if you were to get all your documents before the month ends bc the mailing part will take a few days even if you were to pay for the fastest shipping ! i wish you good luck ♡
Thank you sm! I am also from California :)) I am also an overseas Korean so my application process is super similar and I will continue to reference this video for help. Also just to clarify, you started applying in the beginning of 2020? That would mean I will have to wait until 2021 to apply? (I am class of '21)
Yuh u gotta apply around may/june of 2021. Im also a overseas korean in canada trying to apply for a korean university lol. By chance do u also have to present ur report cards from grade 1-12 cuz apparently u have to do that to apply for a uni in korea
hi ! yonsei has application rounds (i believe it's monthly). for the fall semester, they opened the first round in the beginning of the year, and i did apply at the beginning of 2020. yes, you would need to wait until 2021, but you don't have to apply at the very beginning ! daniel is right, you can apply around may/june, it'd just be in a different round. hope this helps !!
@@erenjaegar681 tysm!! ur the first overseas korean I've met that wants to apply there! o man I hope I have all my report cards... are u also a senior?
I'm 15 years in 11th grade from India. I follow you in tiktok also and your videos really helped me bcuz I'm planning to get graduation degree from Yonsei. I wanted to be in business major and u was soo messed up..didn't know what to do.!? Thanks for your help and congratulation for your acceptance. Keep going..!!!
hii!! tbh I really want to admission for a Korean uni but I still have 2 years ahead of me, but still its not too bad to plan things from now right? so I'm planning to go for nursing or medicine and I know that they mainly teach in Korean, but what if don't know Korean? Like will they offer taking some korean classes for me to learn korean ?
hi !! definitely, it's good to plan early !! for students who are not familiar with korean, their first year will be with classes to help you adjust, like language classes :)
Hi, I know that this video was released 3 years ago but I have some questions. I want to apply to Yonsei University but I don't know korean. Will I still get accepted? If I do, do they teach korean in the university.
🖤🖤Supplementary documents?? Do we have to write sat?? Because I didnt write any specific exams .if then what can i send them other than that ?? Help please??🖤🖤
hi ! you do not have to take the sat !! you can send in whatever you feel that would help in your application or show your academic skills !! i sent in stuff like my sat's (i applied to other universities that required them) and certificates for language courses i took !!
hi ! you don't need to send your topik scores ! i'm sorry, i don't know what KU is, so i cannot answer for that one. the guidelines should have the information you need!! you do need to submit your ielts, but please do check the guidelines for more info!!
hi ! sorry, i am not really sure about an associate's degree, you would need to contact the university about that ! i know that they offer bachelor's and master's, and the year-long exchange is if you were to apply with your home university. sorry again !!!
From what I heard, associate degrees are the most competitive ones, and taught in Korean only..I was thinking of applying for associate too but they told me it’d be so difficult to get in and I’d need TOPIK5-6 level😪 so I was like thinking maybe I should study undergraduate again (in 2021 fall) cuz I don’t like my current job🤢...but I’m 27 (will be 28 next year)and there’s huge ageism going on in Korea that makes me kinda scared about how people would put a line between us because I’ll be way older than them..🤭😭😪 Ah.., I don’t know what to do anymore,..😿😿😣😣🤧
@@gulsah8946 Do it !! lifes way too short do what you want !! im thinking off applying to their undergraduate program and staying there for the 4 years when I apply to colleges
@@mackenziesalinas7142 I want to🙈🙈 I’m making a pros&cons list to make my final decision.. I don’t want to regret anything but also don’t want to experience anything bad😂😭😭🙈 are you going to apply for fall 21? It’d be so good if I’d find a college to accept me(for associate degree)..then I don’t think I’d mind it this much 🙈🙈🙈
I am a parent and my son applied to Yonsei as well as to UIC. He got accepted to Yonsei for Fall 2021 and was set for an interview with UIC next week. Curious on how the travel situations for Korea..is the school back to the school house or still on line? BTW, congratulation on your acceptance last year.
hello !! i have a doubt i am from india and i m in my last year of high school i.e. i would have my finals in march n results will be out around of april so would i have to apply for fall smester ?? n moreover just in case cant we apply before our results so that we can know whether they have accepted us or not otherwise if we apply for semester after our results and they didnt accept us we would miss out our colleges in india too !!🙄🙄
hi !! i applied to yonsei before i finished high school, it may be the case for you too if you are able to provide the documents that you will be finished with school after the application is sent !!
hi ! uic is more for international students because classes are mainly in english and there are less majors to choose from, and regular yonsei is like the main deal with everything, but everything is in korean. hope this helps !!
hi ! sorry, i do not know the info regarding english proficiency, but i know it varies by country, i did not have to send a score since i live in the states where it is mainly english speakers :((
Oh I see! Btw katie I just registered one course through the yonsei admission site and I paid for the application fee aldy... but I wanted to change my course suddenly so do i fill in another online application and ignore my previous application?
EMAIL THEM. CALL THEM. CONTACT THEM. OMG i don't want you spending money on another application, but if it comes down to that, then yeah, send another one with your intended route :'( i wish you all the best in your application !!!
question here!! if i apply to yonsei for the 4 years, do i have to stay at my home university for 2 semesters and then transfer?? and also, i’m going to be a junior in august 2021, when should i start applying?
hi !! if you go to a different university, please consult your university's center to help with international admissions ! if you plan to transfer universities, please check out the transfer admissions applications on yonsei's website !!
Hii luv i have 2 questions for you (if you don’t mind answering them) 1. How much would you say applying to yonsei costed you, including admission fees notarizing and getting an apostille stamp on all of the documents? 2. Since im gonna be applying to more korean universities, is it okay if I notarize and apostille the original document en send each of the university a copy or does it have to be the original Thank you in advance for reading my questions ❤️
hi, thank you for asking, its no problem at all ! 1. for me, including the mistakes i made during my app materials, i would say my parents and i spent around $700 :') 2. i would say to pls check each uni if they need apostilles for the same documents! i would advise that each be a original, but to maybe save money, pls contact the schools in particular about the matter!
Hey girl, I wouldn't want to bother you personally, but I'm really confused. I applied online for Fall 2021. When the application was finished, it did not receive the payment from the card and did not direct me to the page of the documents. Now, when I try to apply again, a letter saying 'application has already been made' appears. What do you think about i should do?
hi !! log in with the original account and try to pay again !! you cannot send another application so you need to repay and then you will get to the page of documents from your original account. i suggest using a different card or contacting yonsei about this issue !!
hi!! as far as i know with international students, you do not have to know korean beforehand, but for pre-medicine, i suggest contacting yonsei for that because it may be a bit more complicated !!
i want to apply to yonsei, I’m on the website but it only shows the application guide for spring 2021, I would do the fall 2021, do i have to wait for this application season to end before the guide for the fall comes out?
hi !! the fall 2021 app doesn't open until early 2021!! yes, you would need to wait for the spring semester to be underway, i would say keep an eye out once the new year comes !!
when you sent your reporting on SAT score, did you inform the Office of Admissions through email or something else?(like asking the agency where you took the test to sent the test report form for you or you just reported your name, test date and stuffs then Yonsei can check it themselves??) And you did it after all the documents arrived at Yonsei or during that time? Can you give me more details on this? Thank you so much!!
college board already put all of that sat related information onto my score report, i never contacted the office of admissions and just sent in all my documents as it was. i was contacted afterwards to confirm my account details on college board so yonsei can directly verify my sat report
Hi I know this is really late, but on the application it says a bank statement of 20,000 is required… did you submit it? Do we really have to? You never got to that section video.
Question, how are your korean language skills? I'm thinking of applying to Yonsei, but not uic since they don't have what I want. I only know a tiny tiny tiny amount of Korean right now, so I'm a bit worried if that's a problem...(anyone is free to answer!!)
Hey can you tell me if yonsei has English courses for psychology also are the textbooks in English or Korean and also the exams are they in Korean or English, and also are Korean courses like they teach most of it in Korean but the exams are In English is it something like that
hi ! i'm not knowledgeable in their psychology department (i'm serious, i didn't know there was psychology until some people brought it up), BUT i will say that it is highly likely the courses will be taught in korean, including books and exams and whatnot. i hope this helps in any way, i'm sorry, i don't really know more than that !!
@@katieeexn thank you Katie I really did a lot of research about it and yes they all said the courses are taught in Korean including books exams and all so I am planning to not go yonsei might as well look for some colleges in Australia Instead

hi !! i do know that yonsei has departments for medical international undergrads, but there may be more requirements !! i suggest looking at the previous international undergraduate guidelines on their website !! i hope this helps a little bit 🥺🥺
what about being a british student how would this work? I am so confused do i pick a uni in my country and then go or apply for yonsei? i am 15 and really wanna study their when i am old enough sooooooo xD ( and its not cause i like kpop i love korean culture and think it would be a great experience and i really wann live their as well :33 )
hi ! if you want to earn your degree at yonsei, you do NOT need to apply to a uni in your country. BUT if you want to earn a degree within your country, you are able to apply to a uni in your country and then apply to study abroad afterwards !! hope this helps, both are different in their own ways !!
Thank you so much! Because of your video, I decided to not apply for the undergraduate program after my senior year of high school. There’s just way too much money involved in this process 😅 Since I’m determined to get a master degree, I’ll just go there for graduate school instead! Once again, thank you💕
Do you think that someone could go just to finish their degree over there? I want to go maybe for my last year or last semester for my business degree... but I don’t know if they’d accept that since it’s just a year or less
hi ! i believe it is possible to do that, but i advise not to do it if you want to fully transfer over. curriculum for subjects differ between universities, and it would be difficult to adjust to a new set of stuff if you plan to move schools, and it is kinda tricky because you worked for so long at a degree in one school, and to me, it's like dropping everything to go to another school. I DO SUGGEST DOING STUDY ABROAD PROGRAMS THOUGH, you'd be able to go to schools like yonsei, but still receive credit/your degree at your home school. i really hope this helps, these are my personal opinions so i hope you do not take it to heart. i'm wishing you all the best 🥺
Katie Nguyen definitely! I completely understand bc that was a worry of mine as well! Ugh school lolol we’ll see! I still have some time left to think about it! Thank you and best of luck!
I want to study at yonsei as an international student and the application process seems very overwhelminggg im just wondering what stuff you wrote for ur personal statement??
Hi I’m curious what’s the difference between Yonsei University and Yonsei University International Camp? Does that mean I’ll go to the international camp in incheon instead of the University in Seoul since I’m a foreigner?
hi ! sorry, i'm not really sure about the answer your question. do you mean their international campus? i've read about yonsei having a separate international campus in songdo (near incheon airport) while the main campus is in sinchon, seoul. if that is what you are referring to, i think it's just a separate campus to take classes from. sorry if i am wrong, i don't know of a camp that the university has :(
Katie Nguyen ohh thank you!! I just got confuse since I want to be in the main campus which is in Seoul. I thought if ur an international student, u will need to be in the other campus. But thank you!!
@@ouradventure4139 I don’t remember where I saw it but it said all international students will spend their first year in incheon campus, some won’t tho. It all depends on the major you choose I assume, hope it helps ✌🏻
when you applying did u submit any kind of korean language proficiency? and how much is the tuition for a year i see on the yonsei official website that the tuitition is not that expensive but is it really for a year or persemester?
hi ! i did not submit anything to prove my proficiency in korean, and i believe so about the tuition being for the year, many media outlets have discussed about the costs for the year and it's about the same !
hi ! if you do not have high enough topik scores, yes, you will be under kli for the first year and then the rest of the three years are for your major !!
@@katieeexn thank you so much Im actually a senior in high school and my exams will be in may, June and I will get mu results by July so which semester do I apply to? im sorry im asking too much

I'm so lost. I want to enter Yonsei university's graduate school (college of engineering). Won't the courses be taught in English? Is it mandatory to take Korean classes when you don't speak it? It's so different from university in Belgium I don't understand anything 😭

I'm really satisfied..I'm looking onwards to choosing science..I really love science!

highschool diploma only is okay
Hello! Im really sorry for asking a question, since you have a lot of questions asking you stuff already, but it would mean a lot if you answer 🥺 sorry again! Hi I'm planning to apply to Yonsei in 2021 but I'm kind of confused on what documents I needed to get authenticated by the notary?
Also I really love your videos especially those about EXO because I'm an EXO-L too!
hi ! based on the international guidelines for the fall 2020 semester, the following need authentication:
- diploma/expected graduation certificate
- school transcripts
- identification cards (these do not specifically say apostille, they say authentication, but i just got a apostille for them anyway)
i got extra stuff authenticated for every document to be sure or they were an additional document that i needed to prove its authenticity for.
and thank you for watching my videos!! hope this helps ♡
Is there any qulification to select Korean University

hi! i did not get a notice for an interview prior to my application!
Hey! I loved you video! Very informative! I have a question though, do my parents passport, etc have to be American? My parents and immigrants
hi ! your parents' passports do not have to be american/from the united states !! they can be from other countries outside of south korea too, i am not sure if there are restrictions, but as far as i know, you should still be able to apply. hope this helps !
Hey there ! I wanted to ask that does yonsei have undergraduate college of medicine because I couldn't find it on the website. Please help me with this 🙏

So I have another question.. I’m so sorry🥺! But, Do you get the documents notarized after getting accepted?
hi ! it's alright !! in my opinion, your documents need to be notarized and have an apostille before getting your decisions, but if anything is missing/not turned in, yonsei will contact you directly about it !!

hi ! i believe it is possible to do that, but i advise not to do it if you want to fully transfer over. curriculum for subjects differ between universities, and it would be difficult to adjust to a new set of stuff if you plan to move schools, and it is kinda tricky because you worked for so long at a degree in one school, and to me, it's like dropping everything to go to another school.
I want to study at yonsei as an international student and the application process seems very overwhelminggg im just wondering what stuff you wrote for ur personal statement??
your video was so good , love it .........
I’m applying next year for 2022
wishing you all the best ♡♡
Lucky me in like 2023 or 2024
Same
when you applying did u submit any kind of korean language proficiency? and how much is the tuition for a year i see on the yonsei official website that the tuitition is not that expensive but is it really for a year or persemester?
hi ! i did not submit anything to prove my proficiency in korean, and i believe so about the tuition being for the year, many media outlets have discussed about the costs for the year and it's about the same !
thankyou so much for replying it helps me a lot! and is it only 4 years including learning korean language?
yes !
hey so Im thinking of applying for computer science engineering but do I have to attend the kli program for a year for that?
hi ! if you do not have high enough topik scores, yes, you will be under kli for the first year and then the rest of the three years are for your major !!
@@katieeexn thank you so much Im actually a senior in high school and my exams will be in may, June and I will get mu results by July so which semester do I apply to? im sorry im asking too much
I've already applied and I'm still not done with sending documents, cause they require more documents because of that authentification thing bruh. This whole process really is super expensive. But I guess that's a good sign they require more since they are probably considering to admit me. Watching stuff like this to cope with anxiety haha and in hope that I didn't miss something. Uhh, thank you so much! Just knowing that I'm not alone in it and that someone supports me warms my heart))
Yeeeaaaah!! I got in! Hooooraaay!!1
@@timurmalikov3953 OMG CONGRATULATIOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
@@chaai_ Thank youuu!🥰🥰🥰
@@timurmalikov3953 you're welcome ❤️❤️❤️
congrats on getting in!!! what kind of things were in your resume (eg. service, high test score)
when i click on the "undergraduate" part i cant see the same page as you. i mean there is a bunch of korean stuff and nothing about application. what do i do? :((
I'm so lost. I want to enter Yonsei university's graduate school (college of engineering). Won't the courses be taught in English? Is it mandatory to take Korean classes when you don't speak it? It's so different from university in Belgium I don't understand anything 😭
hi ! so a majority of instruction is in korean, but i would say to contact the school or try to learn and test with the topik test :')
@@katieeexn what do you mean by instructions? In my uni the undergraduate cycle is taught in French (the teacher explain in French) but all the syllabus are in English. The lecture supports are in English too. Is that like that that you mean?
It's just that I have so many hours of classes already there is no way I can learn Korean at an academic level. The university be claiming most classes are given in English but everytime I watch videos about Yonsei they say otherwise😭
@@junkyoungkim2824 I know that. But my master isn't in UIC. It's in the main campus in a regular college school. In the site they still say that they provide courses in English in many of regular courses. So hence why I'm lost
Can I study an undergraduate degree program on basis of mechanical engineering and I just have level 3 which is equivalent to a high school diploma?
Thanks alot
hi ! i actually do not know if there is mechanical engineering offered, you would have to look it up on their website, but if you can provide the paperwork for your level 3, i believe that would work !
Hi just wanna know how did you apply in university track? In there website ? And what form did you pass the one in admission of the university or the kgsp form? Hope you respond pleaseeeee
Can anyone tell me how to convert your percentage and CGPA to GPA. I am really confused even after researching alot. Some say above 75% is 3 GPA and some say above 90% is 3GPA. I am trying to figure out what my GPA is as i got 74.8% in high school(i.e.12th std) and 9.6 CGPA in junior high school(i.e.10th std). Please help me out through this.
uic yonsei is my dream school and i will probably apply after i finish high school, so this video helped me a lot! however, im kinda lost when it comes to the average gpa at the school; do you have any info about it or would you be comfortable with sharing your gpa? im scared my academic results aren't strong enough to even compete against the other applicants 😖
hi ! i have a video about my stats if you wanna check it out ! idk about their avgerage gpa, but my weighted is 3.9, 3.6 unweighted, hope this helps :)
dont bring yourself down too !! im sure you're amazing and smart, i believe in you ♡
@@katieeexn hello! Your avarage is from all your academic years or only the last 3 years?
Light Troy hi ! my average is from my past 4 years in high school !!
Hi, I wanted to ask if applying early increases your chances of getting accepted?
hi ! in my opinion, i think applying early gives the chance for people at admissions to read fresh personal statements. i don't know whether it help increases your chances, sorry about that !
@@katieeexn thank you so much❤ your videos have been very helpful
Crying cos this is too much for my little brain
