I have an associates degree (2 years of college) with a 3.85 GPA, and will be a transfer student at a local university very soon. My dream is to study abroad in Yonsei and meet new people! I am part of an honor society club at my previous college that I helped create advertisements for as part of their public relations branch. I attended 3 charity events this year, but I am not sure if Yonsei looks at those. My hopes are to apply for the 2024 Fall semester at Yonsei as an international transfer student from my home university. Praying that my good grades and participation in college outweigh my lackluster performance in high school of mostly b's and partially c's.
I was planning to apply to ewha through gks university track but my documents were incomplete, today was the last of the application in ewha. So I failed to apply. Yonsei has the deadline till 4th April and I was thinking to apply but it's one of the top university and I don't have confidence like in ewha. My documents will be complete till 31 march but I am clueless what to do now. I want to apply in yonsei but I don't wanna play to lose.
Hey, can you get some information for me on how can I transfer to a yonsei Engineering college for civil engineering? Like currently it's my sophomore year going on and about to finish my 3rd semester but I want to transfer the next year to yonsei
Currently doing Pre-U and planning to attend yonsei medical school. I wanna know how to apply and if the materials are in English. I can'tt afford to get an IELTS or TOPIK certificate so I guess I'll be at disadvantage but I'd still like to know
I have a 82.60 gpa score out of 100 and I am studying interior design in english right now and I’m 3rd year student. I want to study in business after I graduated. So Is it hard to accepted like 82 gpa score in high school with a toefl score ? And I will do my best for the personal statement and study plan too
Great content! So before getting my application submitted, I am curious to know Lab and life balance cycle in Yonsei : ) Would you know if I can contact a student who is in Medical science grad / Doctorate program? Heard rumors that people there work for.. a long time and I just wanted to clear that out XD
i wanna apply to yonsei university too but idk how to get the application 😭. is it just email it to the university or there is a form that i need to be filled out?
I have a question. If we applied from the normal track then the classes will be explained in Korean, right? Then what about the ones who don't understand Korean?
I think you’ll have to learn Korean since the university do urge you to learn it since not all courses are taught in English but you can ask the department and contact the university
@amethyst09 I want to learn computers but it seems like there aren't any courses for computers in Underwood International (In which there taught classes in English). But the course is available in Yonsei. So... Ig, I should learn Korean if I want to learn computers?
Can someone please confirm if you still need to write personal essays and receive recommendation letters? Looking at the UIC website (admissions->how to apply-> first year students) I can’t seem to find any information saying a statement is required. It’s just the application form, transcripts, letter of consent, passports, and so on.. am I just not looking at the right information? I‘ll apply for spring 2025 and I want to start preparing all my documents..
Hey, I also plan to apply for Spring 2025! Do you maybe want to stay in touch so we can help/ask each other with questions during the admission process?

I’ve been to 7 MUN conference and gonna become a chair soon! I want to study graphic design or illustrations but I’m not confident in my drawing skills just yet. i am from Mongolia so I might get benefit of them wanting diversity? Don’t think they have too much Mongolians yet My family is financially well off and very supportive. I’m really aspired to work hard after not enjoying my highschool years to the fullest, but now I’m motivated again to give life one more try. I might apply now or half a year(prob) so pls give me suggestions for what I should do till then to secure my spot.
