- In this video, I travel to Amsterdam, Netherlands for a solo trip! This is part 3 of my trip to Amsterdam and I am so excited to be able to share my experience with you. I definitely saw and did as much as I could to fully immerse myself into the city! I ate yummy food at local cafés & restaurants and of course I had to experience my first kings day as crazy and fun as it was it was also definitely not what I was expecting! I give you all the tips to survive kings day, best thrift stores, I take you to the famous 9 streets and together we discover the best matcha in the city!

Are there buses, trams and taxis on King’s Day??
@@Jessica-zt7oh taxis are not common in Amsterdam! Buses, trams and bikes are the most common way to get around but yes they are available on kings day. Only certain lines run since it’s a holiday but you can still get around just be aware of delays

@@amgbaje I was waiting at the Italian restaurant bc they said they had a table ready for me but I was waiting at the front for 15 mins after they said it’s ready. So I was waiting in the waiting area and these girls walked in asking about an umbrella one of them lost and if I’d seen it. I didn’t and I helped them look for it and ask the staff but we couldn’t find it. They asked if I was here meeting someone and I said no im on a solo trip. And they were like wow that’s actually so cool and then they asked where I was from and we were just chatting and then they said they had to leave to get to their dinner reservation. They asked if I wanted to come with since my table was taking so long and I said sure why not and we went to soho house for dinner and we were out all night. They were so sweet!! I always end up meeting the coolest people when I solo travel it’s the besttt
