- Hope deferred makes the heart sick but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life.
Many of use are heart sick because of the unmet expectations of 2020. Hope has been lost but I believe that when we revive our hope in Christ, we can subsequently heal from this sickness and all that it brings with. Your future is still bright. God still has a plan for your life. Do not let the craziness, pain and struggles of this year make you lose sight of the promises of God. Hope is like an anchor for our souls. it's keeps us steady and from being pulled away my the current (circumstances).

Dear Sister In Christ! I've just discovered your channel. Wow, you have the most calm, comforting voice! Listening to you is a very beautiful experience. I have a request, if possible. Could you pray for me? I am one of those people' whose heart is sick due to hope deferred. Some time ago a very trustworthy, godly pastor shared with me a word of knowledge. Something of extremely important nature to me. Something which, if came true, would heal my sick heart. But you know, since I have a severe trauma survivour (I have PTSD in a result) , I don't believe every word I hear. Some times ago someones' false promises-turned into hell destroyed my life. Now I am more than cautious. I am praying God for discernment whether the words I receive are from Him or not. I received them 12 year ago. Nothing happened. I know the pastor was a really godly man, he wouldn't lie. But we are all humans, and by so we are susceptible to mistakes. Maybe these words were products of his kindness and compassion, but there were not really prophetic? I take God very seriously and truly need discernment. Because... well... 12 years of deferred hope made feel more and more suffering. I will be very grateful for a prayer for me, and I will pray for you, too!
Hi. Hope you are well. Sorry for only getting to you now. The best I can say is that God is not a man that He should lie nor the son of man that He should boast. No word that comes from His mouth will return to Him without fulfilling what it was sent out to do. God's promises are never late but always happen on time. In our eyes it might be late but in His eyes, they are on time.
I encourage you to focus less on the promise and more on the promise giver. I don't know what the delay may be but God promises that if we delight in Him, He will give us the desires of our hearts and also that if we seek Him, we will find Him when we seek Him with our whole hearts. If we seek first His kingdom and all righteousness, all that He has promised will be added into us.
I can only imagine the pain, confusion and frustration given the time and situations you've faced but know that God is faithful and that He loves you. He has not left you or forsaken you. He has not forgotten about you. His plan for your life will come to pass.

Thank you l was feeling so low 23 years of ever increasing pain. I literally searched hope deferred makeshift the heart sick cos l was saying by stripes of Jesus l am healed so why do l live in agony? Then saw you. Encouraged

Please pray for me. This feels unbearable. Christian men treated me worse than those in the world.
Not all Christian men will treat you bad and not all worldly men will treat you well. Focus on your relationship with God. Build that as strong as possible and one day, when you least expect it, you will possibly meet "Mr Right".
Will pray that God heals your heart and that he will overwhelm you with his love.

Trying to believe/having faith in unseen things
Trying to believe when in reality you’re really living a nightmare.
And the list goes on and on.
They’re are so many things,that can raise suspicion and doubt about God..
I won't lie and say I haven't had my doubts before. I also have struggled in this faith walk. Not necessarily in my belief of God's existence but in believing that he would come through for me. I guess what I've learned is that no matter the season, good or bad, it doesn't change God. I may not always understand why he does things the way that he does or doesn't do things as I would hope he would but he is still God.
Anyway, I'm not sure if I'm making sense at the moment...but do know that God sees you. I wish I could explain the reasons for the hellish seasons of life but I don't have one. What I know is that God loves you. Those words may not remove the reality of the situations we face but they gives hope to keep going (at least that's what I hope).
I totally get your point though. It's hard to believe when life does not match the things God has promised us. I get you!

If faith matched reality, it wouldn't be faith.
Yes, over 12 years. I don’t believe God has chosen me. I just pray He chooses my daughter. I pray for mercy that when the time comes I just cease to exist.

Have you fasted according to Isaiah 58? Sounds like a generational curse. I know from personal experience.
From personal experience, there are things God spoke to me over 10 years ago that still have not come to pass. That doesn't mean that it won't happen. There are numerous stories in the Bible, like Joseph for example. It took 17 years (correct me if I'm wrong) to get to the place God showed him in his dreams. Don't give up on God or on the vision. Continue to pray and seek the Lord. Trust that he is ordering your steps. And continue working hard cause you never know what doors could suddenly open for you as a cleaner.
I know it's easier said than done but I know the God I serve. His plan is to prosper you and not harm you. Trust him.
To add on to this, there is power in prayer and fasting. Whether it's a generational curse or just a process you are being led through, seek out the Lord. When you are covered by the blood of the Lamb, no curse can prevail.
