There were 2 questions at the end of the video How to know the session F186 did Session timer 5 seconds . If we are in extended session for example, and tester present service 0x3E is not sent continuously , we fall back to the default session after 5 sex

You need to be in extended session for 27 service. In the example you have you would get negative response with nrc for service not support in active session.

This is according to uds protocol documents iso14229. If direct transition is happening in your project the raise a bug as it's violating the protocol
it can be possible transition from extended session into programming session but not possible vice versa.
No it's not possible as per uds protocol. Please check 14229 document once
