My Day at Paniyiri Festival with Ellinikes Fones | Mel Lathouras

#Panyiri was so MOVING yesterday! I performed as part of my Greek Choir, Ellinikes Fones, which was co-founded by myself, our Maestro Christina Xydi-Lignos and the incredible singer Katerini Manolatos
What stood out to me is the positive effect music, and singing has on the community. Seeing an audience moved from hearing songs that have deep connection and meaning is a humbling experience that I can’t put into words.
Also, seeing the kids and Grandkids of our choir members light up from seeing their family on stage was just magic!
We have a Christmas performance coming up at the Greek Club on December 4th!! Will post more details leading up to it!
