Why does he loathe Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2? Besides the story, it’s really not that bad. And neither is the first one, but the TV show is pretty forgettable.
I wouldn’t consider it a bad film, but I see why he hates it. The story is a little lazy and predictable, while the animation is creative sometimes it can get a little creepy, there are some cringe worthy moments and the environmental message is a little too preachy. Overall it’s not a bad film in my opinion, it’s a 7/10.
As a fan of the Walking With Dinosaurs Documentary series, that movie doesnt deserved the title because of one thing: THE VOICES WON'T SHUT UP. Like what the hell, this is not dinosaur documentary for kids, this is a dinosaur movie produced by Happy Madison Studios with the annoyance of Fanboy and Chum Chum.
To add another complaint to Cloudy 2: These movies were based on a series of delightful books under the same name. The premise being a bedtime story about a town where the weather naturally consisted of food (snowed mashed potatoes and pancakes, rained hot dogs and orange juice, etc) but things got worse and everyone had to leave. The sequel book is called Pickles to Pittsburgh was about some civilians returning to clean up the town a bit, by recycling the food. Slightly environmental, but in a useful way. The movie on the other hand was just Jurssnackic Park (yes more bad puns like that exist in the film) and had no subtlety in their environmental message, whereas the book took the time to show the benefits of recycling rather than shout out "Man is evil".
Honestly it does shock me that a lot of environmental movies aren't subtle. But books like the lorax and movies like WALL.E are. So how come movies like bee movie, fern gully, once upon a forest, a troll in Central Park, and even illumination's lorax get it so wrong.
I love how some people in the comments want to compare Frozen to other movies like HTTYD2, Big Hero 6, and Inside Out and that they're "better" when those are movies that came out in different years than Frozen did. You all do realize that this is a Top 5 Best and Worst list for 2013, right? Those other movie came out in 2014 and 2015. Animat just felt that Frozen was the best animated film of 2013. So, before you spew hate for no reason, think about the context of the video and shut the hell up.
Mykalah Johnson By the way, just to pit salt on an open wound, back in late 2013 when Frozen was fresh and new in theatres, along with Saving Mr. Banks, both movies were considered to be Disney's major improvements in 2013 after they almost embarrassed themselves during the summer with Planes and The Lone Ranger (not counting Monsters University).
Kieran Stark It breaks my heart when people thumb down a video for not agreeing with a well thought out and well presented opinion because its not their own. Yea, don't vote up a video for its quality, the work put in, the good mic thank god, and good looking video. No, thumb it down because opinion is "wrong" and the guy clearly "bashes the movie and is the spawn of satan for doing so." Yea, good job half of the people who saw this. Good job.
2013 was the worst year for entertainment. In video games, Sony succeed with the PlayStation 4 as an all-in-one entertainment console while Microsoft with the Xbox One does not. Let's not forget a lot of people enjoyed themselves with the E3 2013 memes. In cartoons, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic did managed to make the "brony" fandom "jump the shark". If you checked the page on the official Know Your Meme website about the Twilight Sparkle Alicorn controversy, there are two online photos involving Twilight Sparkle having a pair of wings. This is immediately caused the "brony" fandom to speculate the fact that Hasbro, or, in this case, the fans has accidently drew Twilight Sparkle with a pair of wings before releasing to the public. It was revealed later on Entertainment Weekly that MLP writer Maghan McCarthy has announced to the public that Twlight Sparkle will soon becoming a princess, and this caused the entire "brony" fandom to "jump the shark" as they spread a huge amount to negative responses to Hasbro that they ever forbid to show an image of TS with wings. However, way earlier in the pilot episode, way before the first episode (The Ticket Master), there's literally was a brief history behind the origin of the land of Equestria and the alicorns (for me, personally, they cannot breed, don't judge me why I got permanently banned from FurAffinity) has the power to control the day and night cycle, which both Celestia and Luna had their powers to control the time, one each, until Luna becomed Nightmare Moon to take over the enitre land before being vanished into the moon by the Elements of Harmony (the Master Sword knock-off of Evil's Bane). Back to the cartoon topic, the "brony" fandom are split into two groups: One group wanted to see TS becoming a princess, while the other group refuses to see TS becoming a princess, and forcing to ask Hasbro to change the character's design, or else the show will be outright cancelled. In the end, it was M.A.Larson, the best writer of MLP to do the Season 3 finale episode. Speak of the devil, Larson was, by the fans, the best MLP writer in existance, BUT he was obviously the wrong for this (yes, the same thing happened to Ang Lee when he directed the Hulk movie), Larson immediately crosses the line by adding musicals (which you have to take a shot every time you heard a musical in this episode), and write a script for this episode when the other members of the Mane Six (except for Twilight. YES. THE "EXCEPT FOR TWILIGHT" PART WHICH THE MAIN LEADER OF THE MANE SIX CONTRIBUTES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO THE SHOW.) has their cutie marks switched, and TS realized in the past she accidently uses her on the Elements of Harmony when she gets tired, thus TS puts the EOH to the other members of the M6 to bring back their memeories and their cutie marks back to the respective owners, and they all lived happily ever after, right? Wrong. The episode is still going, as TS tries to contact Celestia by using her magic to kill herself. The End, right? Wrong. Again. TS ends up in the void when Celestia is waiting for her, showing scenes from the previous episodes (kinda like Sonic for Hire looking for the director of this madness), and this officialy caused Celestia to teleport TS back in Ponyville, which causing her to transform into an alicorn (a.k.a. the most controversial figure in MLP history), and this immediately ends the episode as TS was ranked as Princess Twlight Sparkle. The (bloodly) End. Does the MLP G4 TV show deserved to get cancelled thanks to Hasbro and Larson himself? No. No, they do not. As Tara Strong stated on Twitter (now called X) that TS will never, ever, leave her friends behind, as the show continues to contribute the character. (Oof! What a very long writing I wrote so far!)
The thing I DIDNT like about MU is that they met in college, but in the first movie they were talking about something they did in kindergarten or first grade
I think I have a theory on why 2012 was an amazing year for Animation and 2013 was filled with garbage. Remember back in 2012 when everyone thought the world would on December 21? Maybe the movie makers tried super hard to release some of the best films of all time before they thought the world end. Then in 2013 when everyone realized that the world didn't end, there was a big sigh of relief and the movie makers put in minimal effort. Just a theory please don't hate on me.
By the way, just to pit salt on an open wound, back in late 2013 when Frozen was fresh and new in theatres, along with Saving Mr. Banks, both movies were considered to be Disney's major improvements in 2013 after they almost embarrassed themselves during the summer with Planes and The Lone Ranger (not counting Monsters University).
Monsters University: A true successor to M Inc. Croods: Lots of greatness, but nothing too special. EPIC: It’s epic. Need I say more? Despicable Me 2: The best of the 4 movies. Frozen: Never praised it like a deity, but the best of the year. Probably.
How I feel about these films Monsters University (Great) Free birds (Good) The Croods (Great) Planes (Okay) Epic (Great) Walking dinosaur (Bad) Despicable me 2 (Great) Escape from planet Earth (Good) Frozen (impressive) Cloudy with a Chance of meatballs 2 (Great) Turbo (Good) Equestria girls (Great) Show sucks though Smurfs 2 (Good)
Fun Fact: “The Croods” is based off from a Roald Dahl book “The twits” and also Aardman could’ve got the rights to the book when Dreamworks and Aardman teamed up
Best: 1.Despicable me 2:Liked it more than the first 2.Monsters University: Very great and a lot like Monsters Inc. 3.Turbo:Nice one but it can be like Cars sometimes. 4.The Croods:Very well animated and how it looks. 5. Frozen:I preferred the other ones than this. HM:Epic Worst: 1.Escape From Planet Earth: JUST COMPLETE GARBAGE!!!! 2.Walking With Dinosaurs:Let's just make those dinosaurs shut up. 3.Planes:Who wanted this? 4:Cloudy 2:I hated Escape from Planet Earth more 5:Free Birds: They can't be free anymore. Also, I like how so many people put Escape From Planet Earth as 1 on there worst list.
2013 overall was the worst year in all of entertainment. Movies were either bland, forgettable or beyond garbage, and music was getting worse and worse
For me BEST 1. FROZEN (10/10) 2. Despicable Me 2 (9/10) 3. The Croods (9/10) 4. Epic (8/10) 5. Monsters University (8/10) Honorable Mention Turbo (7/10) WORST 1. FREE BIRDS (1/10) 2. Escape From Planet Earth (3/10) 3. Walking With Dinosaurs (3/10) 4. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 (5/10) 5. Planes (6/10)
Worst: 5) Thanksgiving needs more attention in the media 4) it was an ok high flying adventure 3) Worse than Dinotopia Quest For The Ruby Sunstone 2) Worst Than Mars Needs Moms 1) Delicious IT REALLY IS NO FOODFIGHT HM) THAT SNAIL IS FAST Best: 5) This movie deserves an AA Degree in Fine arts 4) didnt care for this one 3) William Joyce would be proud 2) Hardcore 1) I'm SO HOT For THIS cause ITS SO COLD
I love how everyone is just so offended by Frozen like chill it's just a movie i think you should rethink your life if you get that angry over a kids' movie
Fluffy Ninja To me Frozen is not a big deal because either of my tolerance and laid backness or that i hardly saw anything related to the movie But if singing let it go is a bad thing to you then i feel sorry for you
Finally, someone who enjoys Frozen. I think the main reason people hate on it is because it did so well that it's not cool to like it anymore. Thank you for giving it the credit it deserved. Besides that, what are your thoughts on Jack and the Cuckoo Clock Heart? I enjoyed it and was curious if I was the only one who did. Please keep up the good work. You're awesome.
Honestly, I just think it was overhyped. Like, if I'd watched it early on, I'd have probably liked it, but I watched somewhere around the middle of the era where everyone was constantly raving about how amazing it was, so when I finally watched it, my expectations were so high that it just ended up being kind of meh. Nowhere near as good as Tangled.
"Finally, someone who enjoys Frozen." You do realize most people think it's the best animated film of 2013, right? I personally think it's overrated. In my personal opinion, the best films of 2013 (By a long shot) where *The Wind Rises* , *Garden of Words* , and *The Tale of Princess Kaguya*. I feel like the stories of those 3 movies are a lot more powerful than the one in Frozen. Frozen was huge, simply because it was made by Disney, but it wouldn't have gotten so much attention if it was made by another company. :)
Onyx Fang Despicable Me 2 was a great film all around, but the minions are so obsessed with butts and farting it's just distracting and interrupts the plot.
Onyx Fang I don't think it was terrible, just decent at best and bad at worst. It uses the same old "Love will heal everything if you use it!!! BLEEEECGDFHNUUURFRGHJHHHHJBVHGGH!!!" cliché, and there are too many plot holes to count, along with a very forced and out of nowhere ending.
Animat’s reviews’s top 10 best and worst animated films of 2013+ Worst (7) the Care Bears movie (6) The Wild (5) Free Birds (4) Planes (3) walking with dinosaurs (2) Escape from Planet Earth (1) Cloudy With a chance of meatballs Best (7) Waltz with bashir) (6) My Neighbor Totoro (5) Monsters University (4) The Croods (3) Epic (2) Despicable Me 2 (1) Frozen
Best 5. Monsters University 4. Desdpecibale Me 2 3. Frozen 2. Tales of Princess Kaguya 1. The Wind rises Worst 5. Turbo 4. Cloudy with chance of Meatballs 2 3. Walking with Dinosaurs 2. Smurfs 2 1. Escape from planet earth
I'm okay with Walking With Dinosaurs: The Movie. The animation was pretty great, and the dinosaurs looked slightly real. I used to not mind the voices, but now I think "I think they could've done something more clever and not really cheesy." By the way, I think they're doing the "Shut Up" edition, no dinosaurs talking and the narrator being Benedict Cumberbatch. I said THINK because they probably stopped it or posponed it.
And it's shocking that the same people who made Free Birds went on to make The Book of Life. Like, that proves that you should always give someone a second chance.
My thoughts of Animated films from 2013 WORST 5. Turbo 4. Planes 3. Walking with Dinosaurs 2. Free Birds 1. Escape from Planet Earth HONORABLE METION Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 BEST 5. Monsters University 4. Epic 3. Despicable Me 2 2. The Croods 1. Frozen NOTE: I Hate Free Birds, Escape from Planet Earth and Walking with Dinosaurs. I have no idea why Cloudy 2 is the #1 worst, because doesn’t that mean that is just a Cartoon, at least I still like it.
Here are my thoughts for animated films of 2013...... Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 - Very Lost World-ish but still bad Walking with Dinosaurs - Didn't Disney learn form Dinosaurs? Monsters University - Okay The Croods - Funny Epic - Underrated, I liked it Planes - Cars wasn't bad enough, so now we get talking planes. Eh..... Free Birds - Boring and useless Despicable Me 2 - Great Turbo - Not bad, but not great either Escape Planet Earth - Crap, just plain crap Frozen - Incredible Thanks for reading.
Best: 5. Frozen (4/10) - Inconsistent and formulaic but animated well. 4. Monsters University (5/10) - Generic and cliched but somewhat fun. 3. The Croods (6/10) - Incredible visuals but weak writing. 2. Epic (6/10) Overall okay. 1. Despicable Me 2 (8/10) - A great follow-up to one of my favourite animated films, even if it didn't fully live up to it. Honourable Mentions: Turbo (4/10) - A "Turn your brain off" type of movie. Walking with Dinosaurs (4/10) - Had potential but wasted it. #ShutUp Worst: 5. The Smurfs 2 (3/10) - Unwanted sequel is unwanted. 4. Planes (3/10) - The animation is alright, but everything else makes so little sense. 3. Escape From Planet Earth (2/10) - Incredibly generic. Nothing memorable in particular. Ugly textures in the designs. 2. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 (2/10) - I personally enjoyed the first film as a guilty pleasure, but this one is garbage. 1. Free Birds (2/10) - I went to eat turkey after this movie. Haha. Just my opinion.
TURBO: This deserves a top five, taking the Croods off. Actually pretty funny. Free Birds: An awkward idea, and an awkward delivery. Reel FX followed it up with the Book of Life. Planes: Doesn’t deserve the PIXAR title. Wait... it’s Disneytoon? Tinker Bell people? Walking with Dinosaurs: FANTASTIC animation. However, I wish the voice overs didn’t exist. One of the first films I saw. Escape From Planet Earth. As an 8-year old back then, I saw trailers. Automatic avoid.
My top 5 best movies of 2013 1. Monsters university (9/10) I love the scare games in the 2nd half of the movie and I like how they met. 2. Despicable me 2 (9/10) i love the spy elements in the movie. 3. Cloudy with a chance of meatballs (9/10) I really like the food puns and the adventure in this movie I really don’t get the hate. 4. Epic (9/10) just like the title says this movie is epic! 5. Frozen (8.5/10) kinda overrated but still great!

Yeah... looking back, 2013 was a pretty mid year for animated movies. With the exception of Monsters University, Despicable Me 2, and maybe Frozen. Everything else ranged from mid to trash. Turbo is garbo, Planes is mid, Epic is fine, Cloudy 2 is decent, The Croods is Ok, Escape from Planet Earth is a disaster, and Walking with Dinosaurs is cringe. Free Birds tho PEAK COMEDY

I think I would have to watch Frozen again to see if I really like it or hate it, but then again, I don't think I would want to suffer through the torture that is Olaf.
Herpidus Derpicus Well most people love it. I would think that generally the "hate" comes from the constant singing of 'Let It Go' and it being a female orientated movie so males feel they can't possibly admit to enjoying it. I don't particularly like it though. It's very good in terms of being different and the songs are mostly good. But practically all of the film, I find depressing. There's happiness for about a minute at the beginning. Then tragedy throughout (wth a happy musical number in the middle). Then happiness at the end. I'm not a fan of unhappy films (like Pixar's 'Wall-E' and 'Up'). Something that annoys me about it too is that while it's different for a Disney movie, yes, it shows traits that are all too common with modern child/teen movies in general. Kristoff being the slightly awkward, good at heart, stand-offish male character. Anna being the optimistic princess girl. And Olaf being the awkward comedy guy. Anna is somewhat different but Kristoff and Olaf annoyed me in their cliche nature. I don't dislike the movie. I don't think I dislike any Dinsey movie. But I'd probably put it at the bottom of my list.
***** I don't think 'Big Hero 6' is that good. I think that is more overrated than 'Frozen' in fact. 'Frozen' was credited primarily for talking out against its own classic style of being a princess and marrying someone you just met, as well as its good songs (whether you like them or not). The only real issues 'Frozen' has is with its cliche characters. 'Big Hero 6' on the other hand had quite a few issues with it. An opinion I wrote at the time (Spoilers ahead for anyone who hasn't seen it): It's good but it's not that good. I'd put it on the low end of animated films (bearing in mind I like nearly all animated films I've seen so far). I wouldn't say it's really sad at any point (as many people seem to be saying); or at least, not tear worthy. That short though before the movie ('Feast') - That was some emotional stuff. I thought the first half-ish (up until the island fight) was really good. But after that it didn't really go anywhere, I thought. So I'd say it was quite anti-climactic. The film had a really good intro. Then the villain revealed himself and all of what he could do, and so there was no room for development at all. I guess you could say finding out who the villain was, and his plot was development, but the lack of variety in what he did made it not very interesting. In terms of the good characters, the team again revealed what seemed like a taster of what they could do (at the mansion), but it never really went beyond that. I just think they could have used their abilities far more effectively; other than the skater girl; she was pretty badass. Hiro's negative, wanting to kill thing just seemed like a rushed kind of pointless bit as well. It led to his response to the villain that killing doesn't solve anything etc., but still, it seemed rushed. As a whole I think the movie could have done with an extra half hour maybe. Again with the villain, considering who he was, he was pretty evil (unrealistically so) trying to kill the "superhero's". Minor complaints: The first flying scene I thought dragged on a little bit. Also, I don't particularly like the name of the movie. A better one could have been created, I think.
Why is Monster univesity good? Yes, the animation is good and the colours are nice, but the story is just a generic 80ths college movie. Changing the humans to Monsters is not creative. Anyway: Like what you like.
Best: 1. The Croods 2. Frozen 3. Epic 4. Despicable Me 2 5. Monsters University Honorable mention: Free Birds (quite like it) 5. Turbo 4. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 3. Escape from planet earth 2. Planes 1. Walking with Dinosaurs
For All You Nostolgaic Cartoon Network Fans, Not to mention Teen Titans Go Premiered & Began it's Takeover of Cartoon Network in 2013! So Yeah! One Of the worst years for Animation indeed Animat!
My Top Five? Meh, okay. BEST 5. Cloudy 2 (I'm sorry, but this was a good film) 4. The Croods (dull writing mixed with brilliant animation) 3. Despicable Me 2 (very funny with animation that's really good for Illumination) 2. Epic (was the best Blue Sky film until The Peanuts Movie) 1. Monsters University (despite the missed opportunities, I consider it one of Pixar's best) HM: Turbo (a mediocre Cars ripoff, but has some nice animation) WORST 5. Escape From Planet Earth (everything about this just _screams_ unoriginal) 4. Planes (yeah, we'll just stick to the Cars series) 3. Frozen (if I see another mother-plucking Olaf toy I will flip out) 2. Walking with Dinosaurs (extraordinary animation but those dinosaurs need to shut up) 1. Free Birds (it can get funny, but the movie just spells out terrible in big, flashy letters)

Don't be harsh, it was just an accident. It is your average amazing disney film (like beauty and the beast). Just somehow frozen got successful and disney decided to start franchising. I mean, before that they made a Tangled short for the beauty and the beast 3d remake. AND their making Big Hero 6 AND Tangled TV series!
Despicable Me 2 should be at number 1 instead of Disney's Frozen. I did not like Frozen at all, it's boring and it irritated me more when I lost Despicable Me 2 at the academy awards. For me Despicable Me 2 was the best animated movie of 2013.
I'm kinda in the middle of the frozen love hate relation ship its giving Like, I absolutely LOVE the characters, I honestly feel they're very lovable and elsas character development is really good. And not to mention the animation is GORGEOUS but the story... Oh god the story It was so hard to watch with all of its blaring plot holes it had Where did Elsa get her powers? Why didn't the parents listen to the trolls? Where did the trolls even come from? Why were they able to stop Anna's heart from freezing by only changing a memory?? I can forgive it on "where the trolls come from" and the "Anna's heart not freezing", but I have to stop it at the part WHERE IN THE WORLD DID ELSA GET HER POWERS?! But the parts of the story that DONT have the plot holes, I really like. Like the true love part, I thought that was a really nice thing to do, especially since this movie has been in development hell for YEARS, and Walt actually wanted to make it years ago as well! So I give the movie a 6/10, it had its moments, but it isn't the masterpiece everyone says it is.
I don't really give a damn about the annoying dialogue, I still love Walking with Dinosaurs without muting Edit: I hate Monsters University... Pls don't hate me😫
Sam Feldstein I'm sure that Igor will be in the worst list. 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩 = Igor. But, for me, Toy Story, Bug's life, Foodfight and where the Dead Go to Die will be worse.
The dinosaurs don't have lips. They have beaks! If they had moving lips it would sound like BLA BLA BLA. But I respect your opinion on Walking With Dinosaurs.
"Frozen will be remembered for a long time"- Animat
Well he was right about that.
He still is
Why does he loathe Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2? Besides the story, it’s really not that bad. And neither is the first one, but the TV show is pretty forgettable.
Because the animation is fast as f**k, boi
I wouldn’t consider it a bad film, but I see why he hates it. The story is a little lazy and predictable, while the animation is creative sometimes it can get a little creepy, there are some cringe worthy moments and the environmental message is a little too preachy. Overall it’s not a bad film in my opinion, it’s a 7/10.
@@cassinihuygens72 yeah but worse then Escape from Planet Earth and Walking With Dinosaurs?
He literally compares it to food fight I mean it’s not the best but it’s not even close to bloody food fight!
I like Cloudy 2 as well
Mike Wizowski is my favorite Disney princess
+TheDorkyPegasister What? Can't guys be princesses?
But yeah, that's a common joke in the Disney Fandom.
TheDorkyPegasister d
Ena Venturo Elsa and Anna fucking suck.
Well, at least they are princess and girls!
Ena Venturo Elsa is a queen doe ;-;
I think Nostalgia Critic sums up the main problem with Walking With Dinosaurs...
"IT NEVER. SHUTS. UP!"
Frozen was amazing.....until "Let it go" was everywhere. Then it got annoying.
I agree, it was OK until everyone started singing the songs.
***** that's true. But then it just repetitive and annoying when evening started sing it.
I entirely agree. And Disney marketing the shiet out of it. There is such a thing as too much of a good thing.
Same.
I AGREE
The "Walking with Dinosaurs: The Shut Up Edition" part made me laugh. LOL!
Walking with Dinosaurs: The 3D Movie is the most disgraceful adaptation I've ever seen.
Percy Jackson: Hold my Trident.
To add another complaint to Cloudy 2:
These movies were based on a series of delightful books under the same name.
Good job.
Kieran Stark so you agree with me?
Kieran Stark Your welcome
Mykalah Johnson geez you don’t have to be so harsh about it
2013 was an awful year for video games too. So I guess it was just an all around dark year for digital media.

Skylanders swap force is actually great.

PLOT HOLE
I think I have a theory on why 2012 was an amazing year for Animation and 2013 was filled with garbage. Remember back in 2012 when everyone thought the world would on December 21? Maybe the movie makers tried super hard to release some of the best films of all time before they thought the world end. Then in 2013 when everyone realized that the world didn't end, there was a big sigh of relief and the movie makers put in minimal effort. Just a theory please don't hate on me.
That actually makes kind of sense
that is actually a really good theory! But now I am remembering how annoying the apocalypse thing was 😅
Omg that end of the world junk was hillarious to me, plus i didnt have to go to school that day cuz my parents were afraid kids would bring guns

Speaking of feathers, I somehow liked Free Birds despite the story's utter detachment from history and usage of many stereotypes in its characters.
I still prefer "Tangled" over "Frozen!"

Monsters University: A true successor to M Inc.
Croods: Lots of greatness, but nothing too special.
EPIC: It’s epic. Need I say more?
Despicable Me 2: The best of the 4 movies.
Frozen: Never praised it like a deity, but the best of the year. Probably.
There actually was a version of Walking with Dinosaurs on the Blu-ray special edition called the Cretaceous Cut without the voices.

So "Walking With Dinosaurs the SHUT UP edition" exists?

I'd like to call the Cretaceous cut Walking With Dinosaurs: The SHUT UP edition too

@Ryan Sir. I know! At least there's the tour and the West End production!

Walking With Dinosaurs can also be called "Talking With Dinosaurs"
Fun Fact: “The Croods” is based off from a Roald Dahl book “The twits” and also Aardman could’ve got the rights to the book when Dreamworks and Aardman teamed up

2.Monsters University: Very great and a lot like Monsters Inc.
3.Turbo:Nice one but it can be like Cars sometimes.

But if singing let it go is a bad thing to you then i feel sorry for you
I prefer Despicable Me 2 to Frozen, but good list.
"Finally, someone who enjoys Frozen."
You do realize most people think it's the best animated film of 2013, right?
I personally think it's overrated. In my personal opinion, the best films of 2013 (By a long shot) where *The Wind Rises* , *Garden of Words* , and *The Tale of Princess Kaguya*. I feel like the stories of those 3 movies are a lot more powerful than the one in Frozen. Frozen was huge, simply because it was made by Disney, but it wouldn't have gotten so much attention if it was made by another company. :)
+jr4chargers I do realize that but it seems everyone hates on it now

LOLFlyingPotatoes ?
Onyx Fang Despicable Me 2 was a great film all around, but the minions are so obsessed with butts and farting it's just distracting and interrupts the plot.
LOLFlyingPotatoes But frozen was terrible.
The songs in Frozen are unforgettable because nobody stops singing them and they get stuck in your head really easily

I'm okay with Walking With Dinosaurs: The Movie. The animation was pretty great, and the dinosaurs looked slightly real. I used to not mind the voices, but now I think "I think they could've done something more clever and not really cheesy."
By the way, I think they're doing the "Shut Up" edition, no dinosaurs talking and the narrator being Benedict Cumberbatch. I said THINK because they probably stopped it or posponed it.
And it's shocking that the same people who made Free Birds went on to make The Book of Life. Like, that proves that you should always give someone a second chance.

Here are my thoughts for animated films of 2013......
Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 - Very Lost World-ish but still bad
Walking with Dinosaurs - Didn't Disney learn form Dinosaurs?
Monsters University - Okay
The Croods - Funny
Epic - Underrated, I liked it
Planes - Cars wasn't bad enough, so now we get talking planes. Eh.....
Free Birds - Boring and useless
Despicable Me 2 - Great
Turbo - Not bad, but not great either
Escape Planet Earth - Crap, just plain crap
Frozen - Incredible
Thanks for reading.
Chris Perez Good thoughts.
Shut Up With Dinosaurs wasen't made by Disney
Best:
Honourable Mentions:
Turbo (4/10) - A "Turn your brain off" type of movie.
Walking with Dinosaurs (4/10) - Had potential but wasted it. #ShutUp
Worst:
TwinTime Productions Nah, The Croods is better than Turbo. Better writing, better characters, better animation, plus an Oscar Nomination.

I couldn’t agree more.
Frozen, the most overrated movie of 2013, I dont hate it, its just overrated.
Same here.
Charles By the way, just to pit salt on an open wound, back in late 2013 when Frozen was fresh and new in theatres, along with Saving Mr. Banks, both movies were considered to be Disney's major improvements in 2013 after they almost embarrassed themselves during the summer with Planes and The Lone Ranger (not counting Monsters University).
My Top 5 Worst: (I have no choice of putting these movies into the places I would want them to be)
1. Walking With Dinosaurs
2. Escape from planet Earth
3. Turbo (really is best, I'm so sorry)
4. Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2
5. Free Birds
Honorable Mention
1. The Croods
My Top 5 Best
1. Planes
2. Monsters University
3. Despicable Me 2
4. Frozen
5. Epic
I think it would have helped if you got the worst list out of the way first and then do the best list.
Mat said the only really good animated movies this year are despicable me 2 and frozen. Can't wait for all the salt
I think I would have to watch Frozen again to see if I really like it or hate it, but then again, I don't think I would want to suffer through the torture that is Olaf.
Of course Frozen is #1. Even if you don't like it, it was still amazing, especially for an animated movie in 2013.

Why do some people hate Frozen? And PLEASE do not give me any of that "because it sucks" type of bullshit!!!!!
Look I it's not that I don't like Frozen I mean I give it an 8.5/10 but I'm just tired of it getting so much attention more than other movies
An opinion I wrote at the time (Spoilers ahead for anyone who hasn't seen it):
It's good but it's not that good.
Herpidus Derpicus I don't hate it or dislike it, I'm just getting sick and tired of it being absolutely EVERYWHERE.
I thought Big Hero 6 was really good my 4th favorite movie to be exact in fact Disney should focus more on that than Frozen
Why is Monster univesity good? Yes, the animation is good and the colours are nice, but the story is just a generic 80ths college movie. Changing the humans to Monsters is not creative. Anyway: Like what you like.

Who is the other person?
For All You Nostolgaic Cartoon Network Fans, Not to mention Teen Titans Go Premiered & Began it's Takeover of Cartoon Network in 2013! So Yeah! One Of the worst years for Animation indeed Animat!
When he said ‘’the worst of 2013’’ it made me laugh because emoji movie was to exist in 2017
My Top Five? Meh, okay.

4. The Croods (dull writing mixed with brilliant animation)
3. Despicable Me 2 (very funny with animation that's really good for Illumination)
2. Epic (was the best Blue Sky film until The Peanuts Movie)

4. Planes (yeah, we'll just stick to the Cars series)
3. Frozen (if I see another mother-plucking Olaf toy I will flip out)
2. Walking with Dinosaurs (extraordinary animation but those dinosaurs need to shut up)
1. Free Birds (it can get funny, but the movie just spells out terrible in big, flashy letters)
The Wind Rises is a lot better than Frozen, in my opinion. :P
jr4chargers you do realize he counts the wind rises as a 2014 film I know it was released originally in 2013 but that was just in Japan you know
Reid Bennett
It doesn't matter, it was in my opinion one of the better animated films in 2013 and 2014.
jr4chargers
news flash! i don't care about your opinions
Reid Bennett
You're interested enough to reply. So yea, have a chill day. :P

#1 of best list: Overrated the movie
YES
I know right you might as well call it Elsa and the others because she is all everyone cares about
'Insert cliché comment here.'
Oh wait, there already is one.
***** Ummm, yes it is.
I'm kinda in the middle of the frozen love hate relation ship its giving
Like, I absolutely LOVE the characters, I honestly feel they're very lovable and elsas character development is really good. And not to mention the animation is GORGEOUS
but the story... Oh god the story
It was so hard to watch with all of its blaring plot holes it had
Where did Elsa get her powers?
You pretty much explained my thoughts on Frozen in a few paragraphs
I don't really give a damn about the annoying dialogue, I still love Walking with Dinosaurs without muting
Edit:
I hate Monsters University... Pls don't hate me😫
It's okay, it's your own opinion.
Do you think you could do a retro worst and/or best list like from the 80s or 90s or 2000s?
Watchjng all of those movies again would hurt him
Sam Feldstein I'm sure that Igor will be in the worst list. 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩 = Igor. But, for me, Toy Story, Bug's life, Foodfight and where the Dead Go to Die will be worse.
That would be interesting to see from him to do.
First Name Last Name How?
Really? You think Toy Story and Bug's Life are bad?
Best: 5-Iron Man: Rise of Technovore (8/10) 4-Superman Unbound (8/10) 3-Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox (8/10) 3-Walking With Dinosaurs Cretaceous Cut (9/10) 2-Frozen (9/10) 1-The Wind Rises (9/10) Worst: 5-Walking with Dinosaurs Theatrical Cut (3/10) 4-Escape From Planet Earth (3/10) 3-The Legend of Sarila (2/10) 2-Silver Circle (2/10) 1-Cloudy 2 (2/10)
The dinosaurs don't have lips. They have beaks! If they had moving lips it would sound like BLA BLA BLA.
But I respect your opinion on Walking With Dinosaurs.
Maybe its not a last minute decosion after all
