Nissan Maxima Bose radio relay caused no audio, replaced it

- 1999 Nissan Maxima has a Bose radio system and no audio from the speakers but the radio responds to controls and display is functional. I found that each Bose speaker has an amplifier at the coil with a common power bus that is switched by the radio with an external power relay. Troubleshooting revealed that the system will work when power is provided to the power buss. I find the power relay located in the right side front kick panel has failed. I replace it with a common automotive relay rated for 30 amps. I splice in the new relay connector using crimp ferrules and heat shrink tubing which is my favorite method of making splice type repairs in this application
excelent diagnosis! that happened in the shop with a infinity q50 that some make us the favor to steal the hole speakers.
there is few info in that brand and year by year the wiring harness changes.
the problem was the same signal for the remote amplifier
Having the same problem with my 2002 Nissan pathfinder LE, lights work on presets and words, just will not turn on, I wonder if this model has the same relay? And where?

I just used a part I had in my stock room. Is a standard automotive 12volt coil relay available at most any car part store.
Could you replace with factory relay without cutting wires?
