You don't need to replace the premiums for the season, you just need to attack a batch of gameweeks with the best alternatives. Even on a Wildcard your still not going to have them all. But we will have more data, and can better judge who is playing.

I have 1 premium forward (Haaland), one premium midfielder (Salah) and one premium-ish defender (Saliba). The rest are all cheapies (apart from Isak, Gordon and Eze). My logic is if Haaland or Salah don't perform or get injured, I can sell them and upgrade my team, but if I don't have them and they bang, I won't be able to get to them without point hits.
Or you could hold your nerve and play the long game without Haaland and Salah. Them two aren't consistent. They get injured, too. Of course they'll have great weeks, but others will too.

I think the premiums are premiums because they are such good players. Palmer was phenomenal last season, for example. I don’t think covering points/teams is the right way to play. Need the individual players with the best chance of points. It doesn’t matter if you have no Arsenal or Spurs if your players are scoring points. Some of the 6,5s will go toe to toe with Odegaard, for example.
I think we could see gakpo at lw and darwin at 9 and jota and Diaz rotating I think Nunez is more of a fit for slot but jota is elite finisher if darwin falters by game week 3 or 4 jota could.be main 9
I just saw Jota as the first suggestion, and I already know this video is straight waffle. I'm a Liverpool fan, and Jota is NOWHERE NEAR a guaranteed starter. Slot has great admiration for both Nunez and Gakpo. All three plus Diaz will fight for two spots - left wing and striker. Putting 7.5 mil in a player and realising he's an impact sub on day one is going to ruin your whole draft. Odegaard guarantees nowhere near the returns of a Saka. You get a lot less for that 1.5 million saved. Nkunku and Kulushevski are both really good shouts. Great value for money. I'm using Nkunku, not using Kulu. But I can definitely see Kulu getting great numbers. No clue how Bobb is going to do tho..

But id probably not go with an arsenal defender early on, and I think there are better options than Garnacho right now id get a 4.5 defender over Saliba, preferably not a center back, and id go for nkunku over garnacho. Also drop Sanchez he wont start, jorgensen seems the choice for chelsea.. and Flekken has mistakes in him so i’d go with Henderson probably. You also have some money in the bank now to upgrade your midfield

I changed saka to afford both kuleseki and jota. For the first 4 game weeks. I am not certain about most premiums yet.

Jota let me down last season. He ain't for me any more.
