Just over 2 weeks ago, the Mineplex Minecraft server went off line with no explanation as to why and a few day later it was revealed that the owners had stopped paying for it. Today I am happy to say that Mineplex is most likely coming back on Java and Bedrock though it will take some time. Hope you enjoy!

I was a huge fan of Samito back in the day. I’m 100% sure he can bring this server back to its former glory

I hope they can bring Mineplex back and have it work well, but I don't think enough people would come back to have the new Mineplex compete with Hypixel, but I hope the best for them

im honestly looking forward to the revival of mineplex. not many servers had fun games like dragon run or anything like it. and to know one day much newer players might play games like that whether its because a ytber they watch plays it or they found it. and feel a sense of nostalgia but joy in the moment, thats going to be so lovely.
Same, it was one of the first servers I played on when I got minecraft java. Have so many memories with my siblings playing on that server. my older brother taught me how to use a bow on turf wars ahaha

I miss the old Mineplex. I used to play it a lot back in 2014-2016. Hopefully it makes an amazing comeback and maybe competes with the current popular Minecraft servers

@@RealLava it sucks now, but back in 2014 ish it was amazing, especially if it was your childhood. hopefully samito brings some of that feel back.
3:22 I also remember logging onto mineplex and seeing tons of dead minigames(like dragon escape) still had a lobby. That was just wasteful.
I play Overwatch and Minecraft, so I knew about all the drama. When I heard Samito was saving mineplex, I was amazed. Can't wait Samito, thanks!
I personally hope they add One In the Quiver and Sheep Quest into this new reboot of the server, as well as Speed Builders. I loved playing those and was so sad when I couldn't play any more because it was lagging and hard to get into games. Hopefully this new reboot can return the server to its former glory!
Sheep quest was so fun
I miss SQ the most; it was such a nice break from grinding the sweaty lobbies that were CW because everybody in SQ was just a casual player playing casually. Nobody grinded that game and that's what made it fun.
Maybe they can finally make the co op puzzle house..
I really hope they add pve minigames, or permanent games. that would make me, and probably a lot of people play mineplex

I didn’t stay tapped in with this server but I did follow Overwatch and Sam is definitely one of my favorite creators from that game’s community. People say a lot about him but one thing he definitely has is passion. So i’m looking foward for his direction of the game.
I really hope it doesn’t end how it did the last time. I hope they can keep it interesting.
Mineplex was my favorite server of all time. Glad to see its coming back. I loved all the games on there. So much unique modes and features that other servers didn't have.
I can’t wait for its return. I only knew the sad 100 player days so I can’t wait to see an actually good server

I hope the revival of Mineplex brings new gamemodes like Murder Mystery. I'm on Bedrock and the only good server with MM, which was Brokenlens, shutdown a while ago so all I have is the Hive :(

idk if that minigames was still on mineplex where there are a lot of end dragons destroying your ship and buildings etc..I'd like that minigame back
I never really played on multi-player servers, but I might hop on the train after this video. Here's to hoping for a bright Mineplex future ahead of them
speed builders, super smash, and hide and seek were the best minigames :D
Hope java version would be soon up to play those minigames again :))
Paintball was absolutely my favorite game on there. I spent the majority of my time of mineplex on paintball.
Id like to make a big mention to CabbagePlex which was going to be a recreation of mineplex until someone acquired all of mineplex

we lost a really good person and content creator with samito in Overwatch. but im glad to see that he will turn this ship around. he is a really good guy, you guys got the right one.
They are enforcing the Minecraft EULA on servers which means there is certain things you can't have anymore. One thing is you can't have things like guns which means you can't really do a game mode like MineStrike or GTA.
Let's say you refuse to remove something from the server that breaks the Minecraft EULA. Microsoft will just do something on their end to blacklist your server so no body can connect to it.
So even if they do bring back MinePlex it won't be any where near what it was.
they could just remove the game mode
"Anywhere near" isn't the word. Removing a gamemode or two isn't a lot compared to the many modes the server had before.
They've said you can still have guns, you just need to remodel and rename them to be fantasy themed instead of real-life themed. As long as the server's identity isn't built around "realistic" warfare and guns, it'll be fine to keep the same mode and just make them laser blasters or something.
OH MY GOD IM SOOO HAPPY. Mineplex left a big dent in my life, I have been playing Hive as a replacement but it hasn’t filled that space. I am extremely happy it’s coming back!!!!!

I wanted to say 'ridiculous' at first but it has some style to it.
I used to play in Mineplex in phone to play many games i enjoy with it like mob Ariana and arcade and cake wars.... But in 2023 the server has a problems with joining to games and he was broken. I hope the server back soon

If it comes back they need to fix all that lag that was on bedrock mineplex. The server would constantly shut down, the creative housing reset everything and you couldn’t function, and hackers are wberutherre. I was glad that mineplex was deleted bc of the lag it came with but at the same time I wasn’t.

i just want Shotbows destruction game mode or what ever it was called. it was basically a minecraft version of Arma2/3 Wasteland mode.
I miss Super Paintball. When I tried Hypixel's version of it, it reminded me of machine gun spammers, except it's somehow even x100 worse.

It’s probably never gonna overtake hypixel and reach number one ever again, but i feel like it’s gonna at least rival some of the bigger ones like mcc and pvplegacy

From what I see in the discord, it sounds like they have ideas. I'm just hoping they can deliver on everything.

@@limeedhot it still runs mostly on 1.8. Like 12 versions ago, I know the pvp is more beloved there but... I think the bedrock Hive or MCCI and Tubnet are examples of more modernized servers
@@JermoMetGames You have to keep in mind that 1.19 is not very optimized. For instance, I have MULTIPLE lag spikes on 1.19 with all the FPS boosting mods, and nothing. In 1.8.9 with 2 mods + some extras that actually worsen performance? 0 lag spikes
@@user-bi1vv3vq3i Something that is to expect with a game that contains 3 times as much content. But personally I don't have any problems playing only with optifine. I think 1.20 is going to be better than 1.19 tho

Finally a speedbuilder server. It's a great game, and can get competitive, but after mineplex died even more 6 months ago, there was no way to get a game.
for the hive it's sad that i won't be on java anymore :(

PLEASE DRAGONS, My friends and I LOVED playing Dragons.. it was the one of our favorites, personally MY Most favorite, i have great blury memories of leeping and drying to dodge the dragon from breaking the blocks m standing on...
Yeah but somehow they need to increase the player count, that's why mineplex was unpopular, if they add new features/ minigames they might have chance to compete against competitors
Bedrock may take a few months to fix I wanna bet. But java, oh please maybe half a year or a year. There were tons of bugs.
Bro bedrock mineplex was a nightmare when i played housing my house got deleted and i couldnt enter it and i wasnt even able to join survival
@@Minestone0 yeah even survival games was broken back when i tried the bedrock version. When deathmatch happened it would just clear your entire inventory and teleport you to the middle lmao
I'll wait patiently for Java. I don't care if it takes two years to completely overhaul and fix it, I just want it in working condition, and from what I've seen from SamitoD, he's the kinda guy that'll do just that.

@@questionquestion3700 I was never into that, but what I'm most stoked for (if they return) are Castle Assault and Sheep Quest. I missed out on CA 'cause I sucked at PvP when it was around and it was too late by the time I got pretty good at it, and SQ was just a fun casual game that was a nice break from the sweatiness of Cake Wars.

Keep in mind Java isnt coming any time soon, they want to get Bedrock up while they deal with a bunch of other stuff so they can get cash to help them with what they need to do.

(I got false banned and added to like 6 different ban waves but even though 3 of them were successfully appealed, you can't appeal more than 3 times.. yeah, logic.)

Someone who played bedrock Mineplex fairly often, it was the only central based server. That was legit the only reason to play on it. Cube craft and Hive are far better. As for the hackers, yes there is hella. I played quite a bit of Skywars and almost only fought people who had no clue what to do or hackers.
Tbh idc, he just sees the Investment but im 100% sure it'll fail again.
