I'm a Kenyan who enjoys all your videos within and out of Kenya. It's really embarrassing to hear some of the hateful comments you received from some fellow Kenyans and on behalf of all decent Kenyans..we bow our heads in shame!!! Sincerely wishing your family light, love and joy wherever you are ❤

Go easy on us. Kenyans like having fun banter online. No bones are getting broken. I feel no shame. Besides, wameleta porojo hapa Taifa Tukufu, and as you should know, there are only 3 alternatives when you dare do that. Mambo ni matatu...
The other video where they compared Kenya to South Africa and the wife was neutral, there were hates from S.A(ns) but they didn't dare make a video about their hate comments. This video title is very very upsetting. Still,, we maintain peace. Best of wishes
As a South African who has met a few Kenyans this is shocking because those that i met they are very nice people. Even though they threw shade at my Country South Africa i won't generalize about the people of Kenya.
I'm a Ugandan, spent 14 years in SA now based in Nairobi. Media does South Africa big time injustice. As a nomad, SA is the most scenic country I've been to. All love 🇿🇦🇰🇪
I'm a South African in America and I've met a lot of wonderful Kenyans. It's always been my favorite country outside of SA in the continent. As shameful as some comments may have been but Kenya is still a beautiful country with awesome people, i hope this doesn't deter away a lot of diasporans who are looking for a safe heaven in the continent. One love 🇿🇦🇰🇪
Surely won’t deter me. Being black in America gives you a thick skin. I can’t think of what any one disgruntled Kenyan could say to me that is worse than what I’ve endured in the US 😂
As a South African, I've always admired Kenyans and their country, I'm planning a trip there soon with a friend. Despite the sentiments of a few loud Kenyans who might wish us ill, we will continue to wish all Kenyans prosperity and peace.
@@7yqgevdj6 Yes we do. But we Nigerians too ..we don't dislike them at all. In fact we have a lot of Nigerian culture too..the music, the generally West African dressing.. But it is true that we feel an affinity towards South people

those Kenyans who are spreading hate about South Africans online my question is have those Kenyans even paid a visit to South Africa? They expose their ignorance
They're not toxic Mr id!0t. They expected the couple to explore kenya but if they decided to make SA their home it's OK but some of us have nothing to do with SA. 😂😂😂
I'm South African and I started to watch an follow you guys way before you came to South Africa. I watched you guys when you were in Kenya and Rwanda and I always supported. I was surprised to see you guys visiting South Africa. Im respect the decision you guys made about moving to SA. The xenophobic comments are always made about people who have never been to SA. This is their way of trying to silence us. Nevertheless, I wish you guys all of the best with your future endeavours and we will keep on showing love to you guys. Shalom

Funny how all this trolls who leave negative comments, I don't see any Kenyan calling them out but you guys are quick to say not all when there is a respond
You know, I've noticed something interesting, it often feels like Kenyans have this knack for starting squabbles with folks from other African countries on social media. I mean, I'm just speaking from my own observations, but most times when I'm scrolling through social media, I come across Kenyans provoking people from other countries, telling others them their countries are second-rate compared to Kenya. It's even worse on UA-cam, with loads of negative comments on different channels coming from Kenyans. But hey, I don't want to make a blanket statement and say all Kenyans are like this, because that's definitely not the case. I've got nothing but love for my Kenyan brothers and sisters and their beautiful country. In fact, I'm looking forward to visiting Kenya someday. After all, we're all Africans, and we should be promoting unity and love. Sending love from SA, to every African from different countries. 🇿🇦
I agree with your observations, I don't know why they are like that. Why are they so extreme in spewing hate and negative comments on the internet about other Africans and their countries, instead of promoting their own country positively in the social media without denigrating others.
@@esem135Wrong, After their decision to move it's the Kenyans who went all in with the hate. They didn't stir anything, they only voiced their option. You are just simply trying to justify the hate. You live in hate so much it's second nature to you. Y'all need to take a chill pill. The world doesn't revolve around Kenya.
You aren't wrong on that observation. I've been following and trying to immerse myself into Kenyan culture and opted to use the internet as a mode. It's appalling to have witnessed how they would just pick fights with neighboring countries e.g Tanzania ( which I was thinking to relocate to) to the extent of making fun of their dead former president. I just couldn't understand it. But After this incident I concur that Kenyans aren't accommodating or welcoming as they purport to be. They are conditional lovers. They will love you only if you do something in return. They simply don't have genuine love in their hearts. Everything has to be transactional with them that's why many justify what hate Freedom Chasers received.
Warm greetings from Boston. I'm just now catching up with all of this. I kid you not: You are one of the most polite couples on UA-cam. Where you choose to go in Africa is your decision. I'm just glad that young African Americans like you are exploring Africa. This has been very exciting to watch: You, Brittney Caldwell (in Kenya and now Nigeria), Mark (in Tanzania), Oshay Duke Jackson (in Uganda), Auston Halloman (all over the place), the Residential Tourists (in Rwanda and now Kenya) have all been a real delight to watch. I wish you well in your move to South Africa. I'm sure I'm going to continue learning a lot from you. God bless!
Love your content guys. I wish all Africans (Kenyans, South Africans, Nigerians, diasporas and all Africans) peace, love, success and unity. With love from South Africa

Kudos to you for showing the difference between LOVE and PEOPLE-PLEASING!!! It took a long time and a lot of healing for me to understand the difference. As black people, most of us carry a lot of scars, which still need to be healed. Some of us are on a healing journey, but others are still in a dark place. Keep on shining the light! One day the black nation will be free from the mental chains, and will rise up to take it's rightful place in the world. The tide is turning, and no one can stop it. No one can stop you! I am Kenyan and I love South Africa. It is always a pleasure visiting South Africa. Sandton, Jo'burg, Cape Town and Durban are the cities I have been to.
Very envious, they have this one sided competition/beef with us I don't understand. Constantly trying to prove they're better than us while we're just minding our business, its weird

My Homeboy and his family moved there , My wife's cousin moved there . ,We have friends in Tanzania,Rwanda,Ghana etc ... but we choose S A. thanks to TMH . We love all of our people on the continent period , and thats why we are moving over there to the CONTINENT !

I’m a subscriber in America and I watch your channel because it’s interesting to watch a family from the states explore another country that’s beautiful, to find their forever home. It also gives a glimpse of what to expect when traveling to certain nations of Africa. What works for one may or may not work for another, yet we get an idea of possibilities. That’s a gift. I think it’s sad others leaned in on you for YOUR family decision. Keep doing you. Africa itself is a beautiful country with so much to offer in each location. Be where you feel most comfortable, and continue to vacation at the locations you’ve already explored or will discover.
The comment is on point, Kenyans did rely on their decision definitely and they were wrong to think they were part of the decision making, Africa is a continent though. And Kenya is still a very beautiful country.
I am sure before you came you were told so much negativity about South Africa, this is the type of hate we've been receiving ever since. The amount of crime happening to SA is not only done by South Africans but by our fellow brothers and sisters even police stats have categories of some of the certain crimes that are done by certain nationalities we are called xenophobic whenever we raise our voice, it's a word used to shut us up. Thank you guys for standing up for South Africa - we get so much of bad press and rumours about our country that just destroys it's image. It's so funny(yet awesome) to see Americans defending our country, yet sometimes our own put it down 😉 Yes, we do have our problems, but sometimes it is blown way out of proportion in comparison to what is actually taking place in the country. The other thing is we are fighting for our country to be better, we will not just go down without a fight against things like loadshedding and corruption. A new generation are rising and want better for themselves and their country 😎🤩
You achieved your objective, division generate traffic. The title projected Kenya is bad light and told South Africans Kenyans hate you. I resided in US for decades and I had negative experiences with my people that pale in comparison with my good experiences. Africa need unity. Wish you the best

Hey Guys, I love your content. I too am planning to move to Africa. SA was high on my list but they are too western for my taste. To be honest, I have a love for all of my African brothers and sisters, and still fully intend to visit Cape Town. I am planning to move to either Kenya or Tanzania. Your video has highlighted a few things that I think are important for people moving to Africa to consider. From what I can see, Most Kenyans are wonderful people and I can't wait to be immersed in their culture and learn about the different Nations (Tribes) that make up such a beautiful country. Nonetheless, I have to agree with many of your well-wishers in the comment section that this title is not the best choice. Even though the content was well balanced, this title brings people in with a negative overall impression of Kenya. That doesn't mean I won't continue to watch you guys. I love your food reviews and how you present Africa to the world. Keep up the good work. Just make sure your titles are less aggravating to your followers because most of us love watching you and are wishing you well and I'm sure your Kenyan followers might feel a little sting when reading that title.

The title suggests that African Americans experience hate in Kenya. This is a vitriolic, inaccurate and misleading representation. Not all Kenyans are in social media. African Americans are always potrayed negatively in all American media but we know most of them are wonderful people and only a small percentage of them are "bad". My comment is that kenyans are happier to keep a visitor or a guest for longer than the guest wants to be there in Kenya. They had become a part of you emotionally. It's so sad to hear these negative comments, we are all Africans, whether you born in Kenya, South-Africa or America, fact is we all African's and we should stick together, support one another...
Fam, dont even give these haters a platform, you chose SA because it spoke to you and your soul, South Africans aren't xenophobic by nature, they just want our fellow Africans to come into SA legally and not jump the border, it makes sense and no country on the planet accepts that. South Africans are the most welcoming people on the planet, I'm Zimbabwean, my father is Zulu, Mother Zim, was born in Zim, spent 8 years in SA back in the 90s and I can categorically confirm that South Africans will never hate for no reason. I live in New Zealand now. Good luck fam.
🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦shout out to you guys, i don’t want to say there is no xenophobia in SA, there is, bu as you rightfully put it, if it was so bad, then why so many of africans from other countries still flock here daily and as we speak Zimbabwens being deported for being here illegally have taken SA government to court, African foreigners almost outnumber locals in most cities in SA , some South Africans are not happy with that but majority of us dont really care we just living our lives, if xenophobia was so huge, why they still have not left? For a minute I thought the same thing. Both countries are in Africa anyway was it not for the borders😅😅😅.so its a win for Africa. This colonisers really did us bad big time.

What's really funny here is that South Africans love Kenyans...and yes it's largely people who have never been to SA who talk about Xenephobia they never experienced. How many Nigerians in Pretoria, in Kempton Park, In Randburg...In Durban...In Cape Town. Out townships today are homes to many zimbabweans, malawians, mozambiqueans and many other africans. Sorry you guys had to do this video. I have been watching your videos for a while and really enjoy the content. I am glad you speak your mind and ignore the noise from the “haters” (actually don’t like that word) anyway, keep on keeping on. I am originally from Zimbabwe and have travelled to almost all the 54 countries in Africa. I have lived in SA since 1998 and have naturalized as a South African, I have not had any xenophobic incidences at all, however we have had issues of xenophobia which honestly I understand the pain these South Africans go through and it happens the world over, however it’s not reflective of the majority. Every country has it’s issues and always work through them. We lived in Kenya (Nairobi) for two years, beautiful country and lovely people took us a few months to adjust to service delivery issues but was never a train smash or an inditement to the country. We love SA and I am sure you will love living here. Keep exploring this beautiful continent and it’s people, I am sure you have lots in common with most of us. Best regards Zitha

Beware of Kenyan online bullies. In fact ignore them if they pop up, they give our country a bad name. They usually pop up the moment you post something negative about the country or mention that you're leaving for another African country or some other place. As Kenyans we must learn to take both positive and negative critism. We must work on the flaws pointed out by our visitors and quit acting like we're the Kings and Queens of Internet trolling. Its unbecoming! Otherwise, thanks for the great content and honest reviews. Its the honesty that keeps us coming back. The unfiltered truth, no matter the country its posted from.

I remember watching an episode where they were mentioning how even corn was individually packed. These things are tell tell signs of to much western influence, because that tells me that GMOs aren't to far behind. I could be wrong and I hope I am. So please don't think my comment was about the people... I've been crushing on to many South African women to think such a thing.

Sorry for the actions of the few. We love our African brothers and sisters and all our continental visitors. Africa was in vicious cycle a bad publicity era throughout the 90s and the actions of you guys showing the beautiful prosperous side of Africa is a step in the right direction so thank you 😊.

The title suggests that African Americans experience hate in Kenya. This is a vitriolic, inaccurate and misleading representation. Not all Kenyans are in social media. African Americans are always potrayed negatively in all American media but we know most of them are wonderful people and only a small percentage of them are "bad". There's no need to respond to hate with hate. Your response, though it was straight from the heart, came off as egotistical and emotional, a clear sign of immaturity. You appear to be bringing drama to Africa and causing Africans to hate each other. Celebrities deal with far worse than this but it hasn't kept them from having successful careers. Please don't engage in an unwinnable social media battle. Remember the proverb " When you get on a journey for revenge, first dig two graves. This is like a lovers fight that is bound to cause more damage than good. I recommend biblical wisdom "And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet" Matthew 10:14. If they go low, you go high. You know you are right. Just take the high road and keep it moving. God Bless🙏.

My comment is that kenyans are happier to keep a visitor or a guest for longer than the guest wants to be there in Kenya. They had become a part of you emotionally.
