I just went and saw this film today with a friend of mine, and we both enjoyed it! Clint Eastwood is back in top form with this role! This is why he's one of the best actors that continue to shine both in front of and behind the camera.

I BOUGHT THE MULE DVD BEFORE IT HIT THE TV CIRCUT , I'VE WATCHED IT AT LEAST 9 TIMES NEVER TIRING OF THIS MAGNIFICENT MOVIE , TOBYS SONG , DON'T LET THE OLD MAN IN NEVER REALLY REGISTERED WITH MY OLD BRAIN TILL HEARING HIM SING IT ON THE OPERY WHILE IMMEDIATELY GRABBING MY ACOUSTIC AND PLAYING ALONG WITH THIS INCREDIBLY AMAZING SONG .
God bless you Mr Clint Eastwood because you've been a great inspiration in my life growing up from a kid to an old man and now you're an older man and still going like the Energizer Bunny but time will catch up with the both of us some day and I hope to meet you on the other side and tell you what a great actor you've been and thank you for the of entertainment you've given me over the decades. I gotta admit..I wish he would do a remake of Kelly's Heroes with the guys that are still alive and go back to retrieve some of the buried gold....it would be hilarious at his age
