Board snapped after 3 months of moderate use. Isle refunded with store credit. Honestly a pretty decent board. Good grippy surface, decent fins included, good price. As far as I know the crack that lead to my board snapping was just a one off defect. I would recommend if you want a good board for learning or an inexpensive long/mid board to add to your quiver.

Surfboards are tricky when it comes to durability - waves are incredibly powerful, even small ones, and if the right fulcrum is created where a wave hits a board in just the right spot as the wave is breaking, just about any board will break and it can happen regardless of how long you've had the board. All of us on the ISLE team have experienced this over the years as surfers, notably with longer boards in smaller waves where the tail is anchored in the sand while the wave breaks onto the deck of the board. Bottom line is be careful in the impact zone where the wave energy is most powerful, try to avoid your board being hit in the center with a wave!
