Yeah I live at Taylor's beach and went to the upper stone with my father about a month ago. Seems every year it fills up with more silt from the cane farms. Still caught a few using small clear coated timber lures. That's why I like up near the Herbert river gorge more rocks less silt. I've actually caught some big jacks and legal size barra up there on little poppers but also been chased by a 5m croc that was pitch black👌
@@LiamFitzpatrick mate whats your opinion on the lews range of rods? i was going to buy a couple tonight online. Is their anywhere you can view them or hold one to get a feel before buying?

Yeah you need a dome housing mate. They are heaps cheaper these days. Can pick one up for under a hundred. This one suits the GoPro.

Yeah I’ve had some good sessions up there over the years. Good barra and soots never seen any crocs yet but have heard the stories.
