So cute!!! I wasted a whole roll of cotton yarn the other day because I screwed up the warp somehow and couldn’t fix it. I got mad and cut it all off 😂 and I haven’t tried it again….
That's so frustrating! I made a bunch of scarves when I first started weaving. I'd never used a warp separater, and since I hadn't had any problems, I was like "why do people use them? It's so unnecessary. " THEN I decided to do a double length warp. So, obviously I had a TON more yarn and it got so unbelievably tangled up, with all the warp yarns just embedding themselves down into the lower layers. It was SUCH a mess, and I think I spent two days trying desperately to fix the tangles and the tension before I gave up and cut it all off. It was a few days before I had the energy to try again! Edit: and yes, I always use warp separators now! 😆
@@rebeccakent2414 Oh! Well, it's something that you set down in between each new layer of warp threads as you roll it onto the beam. It keeps all the threads from digging down into each other as you tighten the warp. A lot of people use those cardboard strips. Also, brown paper - like from grocery bags - is popular. I love using bamboo blinds.
First time watcher, thank you algorithm! I love both your bags and the way you produced this video. The ye olde tangent made me laugh out loud :)
Aw, thank you so much! Sometimes I get a little carried away with the editing 😆. I'm so glad the algorithm found you, welcome to the channel!
You're so welcome and you said my name just right!
Yay! 😄

Ok, what is a warp separator?
