My hands were literally sweating watching this. Anyone reading this comment please note that literally no one shows up to one of our races for the first time and puts the car on the pole and then races with our best guys like Matt did. He is the real deal. Really looking forward to being able to race with him again.
I really like this series.. My buddy runs a '91 miata in the national sprint series here in Belgium. Great little cars! Looks like a tight and extremely fun series this one!! Great video, great idea for commentating, it doesn't take away from the raw sounds of racing this way 😎
This is one of the most helpful coaching videos I've seen, even though that isn't the main point. It helps that you're racing with Ken and Will, arguably two of the best SM drivers in the country. Thanks for sharing and great driving!
Amazing work Matt , these are the guys I’ll be racing with next year, you sure held your own against the PNW greats. My SCCA novice license is on the way, thanks for sharing such a awesome video
Just curious How many spec races do u compete in in a year? And do u guys end up always fixing up body work on your cars doing this type of racing like pulling out dents ? Looks like you’d bump each other a lot racing like this

That first lap was insane!
FYI the shifting issue in this video was a broken shifter turret bushing!

Amazing what that old clapper of a car can do in the right hands. Excellent drive !!!

@@sodi364 Correction: ...and Thomas, who is amazing! :-)
Great race! Adding the commentary really added to whole thing.
Thanks for the video and commentary! Great race.
A masterclass to be sure, Matt! What a ride!

Thanks Matt! I especially appreciate the running commentary captioning - it really helps get a feel for what's going on. Great racing!
Great video
Really goes to show how much difference the driver can make.
Those curbs look brutal
Wow, that was good Jose 👏 and congrats , see you at Daytona Lol
fun to watch! amazing race!
i like how some of your lines are different from the p1 guy
Been trying to find those rumble strip timers. Im guessing they're discontinued? They're so much clearer to read than the aim solo timers
yes I believe they are discontinued. they are great and very visible on video which is nice!

6:20 I have to think Ken was frustrated by your failure to slow enough for him to hook back up, starting at 5:50 .
Love it!!!!
lol well I won’t actually be racing with them but on the same track 😂😂😂
