I think at best Super Poly is near the end of "Should Play" at best, top of "Could Play" at worst The thing with Super Poly is that its a strong card that's too good to miss out on not using, but it shines the brightest in decks that inherently use a lot of Fusion monsters already (i.e. Branded, Tearlaments, Chimera and Melodious). Mudragon and Garura are not bad cards as well since the former provides targeting protection and the latter gives you a draw when sent to GY. Also, them being Lvl 4 and 6 means they can work with various Xyz and Synchro strats and help you extend your plays next turn should they stick on the field.
My issue with droplet is that it gets worse the more handtraps you play, so there’s a pretty small window between having the space to run it and being able to get value off it. It’s also deck dependant, since you ideally want to chain it to your monster or (ideally) spell that is already resolving to avoid going too neg. It’s obviously crazy strong, but if you’re already on 12+ handtraps you’re often playing into simplified board states anyway - going -2 to negate one thing on board after already using 2 handtraps the previous turn puts you in a bad position, particularly if your opponent also has an unknown disruption. I think it’s the best thing you can be playing if a) your deck doesn’t heavily rely on non-engine backing up boards (Tenpai playing backrow removal means you’d rather interact from hand in these decks), b) you have engine cards to send which let you bypass the cost, and c) you have exactly 15 non-engine slots space - slotting it in alongside the maxx c tax and Imperms is really solid. It’s also really good if you have a gas-heavy deck with limited non-engine space, since you can play it alongside other higher-impact power spells like talents etc to help push through boards.
@ yeah if your deck has spells worth negating then it’s well worth considering for that reason. I found that in something like FKSE it can be a bit rough since all the good spells are limited so it’s now fairly monster-heavy (and most dont plus when sent to gy unless destroyed) - cracked when you open bonfire / wanted etc (and great if they let you get as far as putting poplar in backrow to then send) but in a lot of hands you end up having to pitch useful resources. It’s deffo as good as the other cards in the tier, but I’d say deck dependant. Yubel won’t play it (the attack drop actually hurts otk potential lol), playable but clear downsides in stuff like FKSE/Voiceless/Pend, handtrap decks like Melodious / Centurion / Mathmech probably shouldn’t play it since they’re ideally resolving too many handtraps for it to get value.
I also kinda disagree with your handtrap value point, because droplet doesnt need to hit nearly as much if your handtraps put in work. So many decks pop off with 1 card so for example if your opponent is passing on a gimped board because of an effective handtrap or two then on turn 2 droplet can really help seal the deal. Not to mention droplet is def a better draw off of maxx c than most hand traps AND better going first than most handtraps too. (Basically the only exception is maxx c)
Gamma at 1 really hurts. The card is the most balance between great effect and equal drawback. Of course Konami refuses to nerf just came out decks and instead made stupid "balances" to existing cards.
i dont agree with droplet and veiler. droplet is a blind second card to go with quickplays. i imperm, you negate, i negate the negate with the imperm that's about to get negated. on a going first deck, its a -1 when you could have just impermed. the only question is: am i sending terahertz, superfactorial, or laplacian for discard fodder? veiler is just more imperms. idk i kind of like it, its bad against 15% of decks in the game, and can still be useful if they didnt draw their 2 of field spell. id rather have veiler than imperm against tenpai, tenpai draws their 2 of field spell. 28% chance of veiler being dead in 15% of duels. imperm is going to get whacked by lightning storm, heavy storm, feather duster. if they can break your board, veiler is better.
Imperm is bad tbh right now Youncut it off , tenpai is unaffected by it most of the time unless their only play was ns paidra Same for vieler which is very bad We are approaching a tenpai gimmick puppet format and their fields make them not interactive ON field dd crow is so good right now if ur deck runs many engines try using it It’s better than bystials But if your deck loves bystials like centurion , this is up for your deck building Finally spooky dogwood will be so good in shutting down tenpai and gimmick Also kuriphoton which is a light fiend so when fiendsmith is released its decks can search it and shutdown tenpais Otherwise goodlist
Your crazy if you think I would rather run droll over super poly, give me super poly over almost every card on this list and I’ll stop most set ups in its tracks with almost any deck 😂😂
You don't need very good board to beat tenpai centurion beat tenpai very easy most tenpai players are very stupid and try to destroy centurion synchos when primera is the back row

Often you go -2 to deal with 2 interruptions like baiting a negate with a spell and then going droplet to negate a different monster

I will concede that it is somewhat deck dependant though.
Thank you for the video bro I needed to see this
this tierlist looks like a typical tenpai decklist
☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
Ghost Ogre should be higher
Great timing for a staples tier list imo. Thanks
1:45 ngl that sold me
Its the pause into pointing combo
Gamma at 1 really hurts. The card is the most balance between great effect and equal drawback. Of course Konami refuses to nerf just came out decks and instead made stupid "balances" to existing cards.
Now we gonna need a metaphor Archetype tier list 🫡
maybe we do a variety tier list week at some point for the holidays lmaooo
Devil summoner and masked dancer yw

Ghost ogre must play
Superpolly is really good for Big monster like KALIYUGA. others card cant do anything against Card like Kaliyuga
ty for this list, i didn't wanna spend my gems in the wrong places!!
I didn’t see kurikara that’s a staple,how would you rank that card
Imperm is bad tbh right now
Youncut it off , tenpai is unaffected by it most of the time unless their only play was ns paidra
Same for vieler which is very bad
We are approaching a tenpai gimmick puppet format and their fields make them not interactive
ON field
dd crow is so good right now if ur deck runs many engines try using it
It’s better than bystials
But if your deck loves bystials like centurion , this is up for your deck building
Finally spooky dogwood will be so good in shutting down tenpai and gimmick
Also kuriphoton which is a light fiend so when fiendsmith is released its decks can search it and shutdown tenpais
Otherwise goodlist
Damn I completely forgot crow I havent seen it in ages
So I guess I should spare some UR for Ghost Mourner & Moonlit Chill.
Imperm is definitely a must play
epic sauce!!!!
🅱️ad take as always ❤❤
thrust --> d-barrier (turn skip?)
Thats why I was saying its better in trap decks that still pop off using it turn 1
Your crazy if you think I would rather run droll over super poly, give me super poly over almost every card on this list and I’ll stop most set ups in its tracks with almost any deck 😂😂
So you’d rather let your opponent set up a turn 1 board uninterrupted while getting card advantage just to get a muddragon and discard ? I respect it
@ that’s what ash and finger are for 😏
💯
You don't need very good board to beat tenpai centurion beat tenpai very easy most tenpai players are very stupid and try to destroy centurion synchos when primera is the back row
Don't blame you for the break. Tenpai is one of those super lame and boring decks. Cheap wins. Numeron style metagame
