See Me Hear Me: The Art of Living uplifts Older Adults.
See Me Hear Me is a large scale mural project composed of 70 portraits of Forest Hills residents and teammembers wheat-pasted to the from of the Forest Hills main building that debuts during DC’s Art All Night 2024.
I am excited and honored to be the lead artist and photographer for this beautiful project where I am able to honor our “seasoned citizens” and the dedicated people who care for them and their families at Forest Hills of DC through art.
The project was made possible due to generous grant funding provided by AARP. The performing team consists of Forest Hills of DC, Art Against Ageism and Marvin Bowser Photography.
See you on the 27th or 28th after 7pm for Art All Night at 4901 Connecticut Ave NW.
This temporary installation will be allowed to naturally weather so it will be up for several weeks.
