Nice video but please don't wear heavy eyeliner next time you do mascara reviews, the lashes were barely visible

I took these during different times over the past six months... so of course my makeup is not going to be exactly the same everyday! Eyeliner is something I just wear normally.
+TheBeautyBreakdown We get that you usually wear eyeliner but we’re suggesting that it would be better to eliminate that in your makeup routine for mascara review videos bc we can hardly see your lashes with eyeliner

I actually appreciate that they would mention that there is no scent to the mascara. Some brands have a strong, floral type of smell.

No, however I've never had a mascara that's smudged under my eyes before so definitely look up reviews from other people and check their experiences before you buy it.

Thank you SO MUCH for this video! I absolutely HATE wasting money for make up. I end up settling for make up that just doesn't work for me after 2+ weeks of self-confliction. When I'm desperate for a purchase, for like an event, I tend to make the worst decisions because I tend to not think long term. And I guess I've been unlucky getting beauty employees that are simply hired to get people to just buy buy buy, employees who most likely have not tried out the products! I LOVE how you have added the clips of each mascara on your eyes. It's a great comparison.
Mascara has been very difficult for me to consider. And the basic "it looks great on you!" does seem to help me make purchases anymore. With your video, I can say you've made me feel way more Confident (something I do not say lightly) in desiring the following for future outfits:

♥ I've been using the Gold Collagen Volume Mascara from The Face Shop. It's take awhile for it to dry and it tends to keep some lashes stuck to one another but I did notice my lashes are healthier than before. ♥

Yes a lot of mascara smells so strong and "chemical" so sometimes im getting dizzy wearing them because when we applied it, its really closed to my nose. but maybe that just me 😂😂😂

You're the only one I've seen really do it :) I was wondering if the labiotte or innisfree is easy to wash off. Waterproof holds my curls but it's such a hassle to remove. Thank you!!!
I personally notice a strong and distinct mascara smell with mascaras I have used.
Mostly notice it if I smell the wand though
LOVE mascaras from Luna eyelight, Hera rich curing and the OHUI smudge proof mascara. :)
My Favorite non Korean mascara is the new Butter London Stroke of Wow mascara, it lengthens, it’s voluminous and it’s buildable. If they ever discontinue it I will cry.
It’s a brand that not a lot of people know but I really like the touch in sol paper plane(?) mascara! I can’t remember the exact name but it’s paper something. It’s a fibre mascara and is the only one that does not smudge on my lower lash line. It’s also a really nice lengthening mascara that holds my curls well
Can you tell which of those mascaras are waterproof?
What I like with etudehouse curl fix is that I could cry all day and my eyes will stay the same, no smudging whatsoever and no flaking as well.
Oh and do you know the Japanese mascara Lash Expander Edge Meister from Majolica Majorca? It's really popular in Japan for curling and lengthening lashes. And it's interesting that the wand is literally a double-sided comb. There's actually a volumizing one as well from the brand it's called Lash King but I've never tried it
Please do a review of some Korean Face mist for sensitive and combination skin.
I have the Holika Holika Magic Pole with the larger ball on the end and I love it. In regards to scent I used to own the Lancome Doll Eyes mascara which had a very strong perfume. Although I loved this mascara too, I could smell the perfume all day and it would clash with my actual perfume - quite annoying. 😆

I'm definitely getting the 1st one, Tony Moly pink one. My recommendation isn't is Kbeauty, it's from maybelline, it cosmetics and catrice

I actually love the peri pera mascara. It's the only korean mascara that is able to hold my lashes after I curl them. And I'm not kidding guys, it can REALLY hold your lashes even if you have the mascara on for more than a day. Plus, they make my eyes look like I have falsies on💁 Besides being a pain to remove, they're actually pretty good!
I have never tried that. .I'm looking for a mascara which will open up my eyes, all mascaras I tried so far only adds volume and weighs down my lashes after some few hours..my lashes are short straight

I've noticed mascara scents before but I have super sensitive eyes and am also sensitive to perfume. A lot of times I end up using Clinque because I know it will be scent free and not irritate my eyes.

St104 u.u Not too sure as I haven't used it in a while. Currently using the holika holika one and it's a bit clumpy for my pin straight lashes.

This came just when I needed it!!!! I use the first one you showed and like it but want to try something new. Now I know what to try!!! The other tony moly one :D! I really liked the etude house one but the one I bought (a Christmas version I think) was horrible! I couldn’t get it off!!! Not even with my strongest waterproof cleanser 😖 so annoying.. never tried it after that.
I have noticed the "mascara scent" but I'm really sensitive to smells so that might be why

The Tony moly circle lens one is actually my favourite coz it doesn't clump just doesn't hold curl that well but for £2.50 can't complain lol

I used Koji Dollywink Long Mascara (fiber+Japanese brand) for YEARS! It was my HG. It started getting difficult to buy so I started looking for a dupe. Before Dollywink I was pretty smitten with Dejavu fiber in long. I now use Etude House’s Lash Perm. I really loved that dual jelly brush once you figured out how to make it work, but they got rid of that brush and now it’s just a standard one. It’s ok, but I feel like the jelly brush worked better with the formula. Maybe it was just me. 🤷🏻♀️
I'm looking for a good replacement for Fiberwig as it's getting hard to buy. What's your holy grail lengthening mascara if you don't mind helping a gal out? ❤
@@AH-ff6to hi there! I’m still a fan of tubing mascaras vs traditional but care way more about holding a curl and no smudging or flaking vs volume or length these days so my rec might not be what you’re looking for.
That being said, I’ve been using Clio Kill Lash in 04 for some time now and would consider it my HG. I buy from YesStyle or StyleVana. It’s not Uber waterproof like the other formulas, and washes off easily with warm water as most tubing mascaras do. #04 is also vegan, cruelty free, and doesn’t weigh my lashes down. It also has very minimal flaking and I think it’s more defining on my straight and sparse lashes.
Volume and length are just fine but not life changing, but again not my main focus. If you don’t mind waterproof you might try Clio’s other formulas they do have a “long” lengthening formula. A lot of people have at least one fave from Clio. Hope this helps!
Moooooorgaaaan! Have you tried any mascara from Nature Republic? It's underrated... Waterproof or not, it doesn't smudge or bleed even if you perspire. I never had panda eyes with it.. But they only have a few wand variations.. (It worked well with the hot and humid weather here in my country..) I can't say if it'll be the same for you.. But I hope you'd give it a try! They're not so expensive! Their eyelash curlers are commendable too haha

I bought the Innisfree mascara and regretted it so much. It smudges like nobody’s business. I love how the wand is so small that it can get the corner so easily but unless they reformulated it I’ll stick with my Kiss Me Heroine.

For the etude house mascara, they renewed the wand so now it's easier to work with!! But as far as i know the formula itself is the same so if you didnt like the formula then i guess it will still be a pass for you🤔
How about the waterproofness (🤔) of these mascaras?

Hi Morgan. Like your videos. Next time you do a mascara review can you not wear eye makeup when you apply the mascara. It would help us to better see how the lashes look.

Heroine and Dolly Wink!! Both japanese i believe.. i have regular asian eyelashes but with these 2 mascaras i get fake eyelash length and volume!! the heroine is a bit drier formula though. i will definitely go on the hunt for the tony moly one now hihihi (sinister laugh)

My friend said nature republic's gel eyeliners are really popular! Pigmented and very smudgeproof plus longlasting ;D
Nature Republic Mascara's are good. Waterproof or not, it doesn't smudge or bleed even if you perspire. It works well with the hot and humid weather here in my country.. I can't say if it'll be the same for you tho. But give it a try! They're not so expensive!

Many mascaras DO have a scent; some are very strong. Try YSL's mascara. lol

Moon Kim Try going for lightweight and waterproof formulas and when you curl your lashes hold them for 3 seconds or more.
In my experience the only way to keep the curl is to go in first with a coat of waterproof mascara and theb apply your regular mascara.
omg I hate when that happens! you should check out the innisfree skinny microcara, it doesn't weigh down my lashes.
I would recommend the ones I mentioned as more "natural" mascaras because they're more lightweight and tend to be more layerable... so the innisfree and labiotte mascaras would probably work nicely for that issue!
I solved this issue with mine just by curling first, and then only aooly mascara to the upper part of the lashes(make sure to wipe away excess on the mascara wand). The wait to dry and curl again.
