Beautiful video. I was given an old table saw that needs refurbishment and this video helped give me a lot of ideas. Enjoy making new memories on yours!
That rip fence looks just like the Exact-I-Rip I got with my Craftsman contractor series saw. Very nice & precise. T-slots are so handy for jigs, patterns etc.
Good Job. Hope it gives you many years of enjoyment. I think you'll find a single edge razor blade works better than a screwdriver to clean gunk off a metal surface.
Great to see you posting content Mark. The Table saw cleaned up really well. Thank you for sharing! Hope you get some time to enjoy using the Saw Mark!
Beautiful job sir, you've honored your grandfather well!!!
Outstanding video! As a grandfather myself, I really appreciate that you value the time you spent with him.
Your granddad should be proud of you, hopefully one of my grands follow as you did. Congratulations with honor
I’m sure he be proud to see what you did with his saw, and even prouder to see what you do with it. Came up a treat.
Thank you Steve
I hope it brings you many years of enjoyment like I'm sure it did your grandfather. Love the video. Don't be a stranger.
Thanks Chris.
Nice to see you back Mark, always great to see things restored and used again, rather than just thrown out.
Hi Greg! good to hear from you! Thank you
You probably have done your grandpa proud, great to see an old tool brought back to life
Great work Mark

What a beautiful thing to do to honor him! Nice saw too!
What was that foam cleaner you used? Great that you referbished you GF's TS. Take pride that you have some of his tools.

Sorry for your loss, mate.
I think your Grandfather would be proud of the job you did! 👌🏾
Had to chuckle when that wheel hit the ground, oops. 😆
Thanks Bill.
I was in a state of confusion haha. Completely missed the wheel

Think we all have moments like that, mate... 🥴😏😆
V good clip. Great to hear from you again!!
What was the Foamy Cleaning spray?
Thank you Lee. I'll be uploading on the regular. the foam is an automotove degreaser
Fantastic video. Fantastic result! Gave me that "a HA!" moment too on how to remove rust on large surfaces!!!!
What kind of spray foam cleaner did you use 🤔
I can hear your grand-dad saying Well Done!!!
I can also hear him saying never push wood on a table saw with your hand, use a push stick!!!
thank you for the kind words. i agree with the push stick. can't use the saw without all 10 digits!
In my experience rattle can paint on the throat plate will rub off on your work.
What did you use to clean the motor?
I used a spray degreaser
😭😭😭👍💪
Every time someone cleans a table saw top with a flat-blade screwdriver, God kills a puppy...
It would have been EXTREMELY HELPFUL IF HE HAD SAID WHAT HE WAS USING. The video itself won't help me restore my classic Craftsmans table saw.
Degreaser, vinegar, variety of coarse pads and a lot of time. I hope your craftsman comes out looking new! It’s super rewarding such a good feeling
