I know Christopher personally. This disease has been a horrible struggle for him. He has been so strong throughout all of this. This hasn't only effected him, but his family. His wife has had to be a caregiver for him and their 5 children all while trying to continue to work. He has to travel an hour and a half to treatments, sometimes 4 times a week. He's had multiple hospital stays and emergency room trips. Going from being an independent supporter of your family to having to be taken care of and worrying how you will pay your bills week to week is hard for anyone. His life changed overnight. He has continued to be positive and thankful for every day he lives. I'm so thankful I get to be a small part of his healing journey and encouragement for him and his family. He's a wonderful person and deserves the world! Thank you for the donation to the Leukemia Foundation!

it was nice of you to donate anyway. i'm getting close to 1 year of playing raid and i'm still a bit shocked at how bad the mercy system is on sacred shards. i'm not one to complain about raid too much, i even enjoy some of the p2w aspects, but the fact that you can pull 30-40 sacreds before hitting is insane considering that they price them at 20$ a pop, and the odds you get a legendary you actually want are usually less than 20% on progressive events. i went from spending over 100$ per month in the begining to basically nothing right now, not because i don't want to spend but because i feel like spending 100$ would literally get me nothing. i'd need to spend absurd amounts to actually feel like i'm progressing, and i'm not even THAT far into the game
same here i was playing other games and i was used to getting rewarded for ingame buys. so i went a bit all in, and i literally spend like 600 and got nothing, terrible worst investment of my life, everything came together on that day, i swear if i knew this was a casino id never done it, i was used to actually getting stuff when paying, i was totally surprised they screw over their paying players so hard i didnt expect getting nothing at all
That sounds very exaggerated. On average you should be pulling around 17 sacreds for a legendary. Half that if you pull at a x2 event. The chance of having to pull even more than that before you see one might be possible, but its also possible to get legendaries back to back, or within a few shards of each other. Not denying how scummy Plarium can be and how unfair Raid is, but this is just how it is with RNG games.
@@MrHestolemyname it's more so the fact that it can happen. of course it's not gonna happen often, but the mercy system for sacreds makes it possible for you to open up to 30-40 if you are unlucky enough. i personally had to go up to 27 once, and around 20 multiple times. ideally it should be like the ancient mercy. perhaps you'd need to open 16-20 instead of 12 to start getting better odds, but they should be WAY better than +2% per shard. that way you would feel safer pulling for 1+1 or simillar events that are basically all or nothing
@@MrHestolemyname sacred mercy is 59. i hit 40 in mercy during archer events and didnt get archer, broke it a couple days after it ended during the fusion afterwards and got a lego i vaulted. pretty much stopped spending altogether since that. im 5 months in btw. going 40 sacreds dry 3-4 months in during my first limited time event for the most wanted champion of the whole event to be met with my first training tournament where the top of the leaderboard had 80k points in the first 12 hours was.... well i dont spend much anymore :) but hey! we have rare champions in tourny's now!

I too like these more realistic takes on shard pulls. Makes them more exiting. Also you can always come up with other stuff like leveling up a pulled champion, making a team out of the shard pulls etc.

Thank you for all you do help battle all of the terrible diseases and cancers out there. I just found out my dad has been diagnosed with Lymphoma which is cancerous on the outside of his pancrease. The only good news on this is it has not grown in the past 6 months but with his Alzheimer's chemo or certain treatments aren't the best. Thanks again.

It's strange sometimes you get an awesome pull on a single shard, other times you swear you should have gotten mercy 10 shards ago
@HarryToeface I guess it's just rng on ur specific account from what I hear. I've been playing for 5yrs and not ftp and still don't have trunda duchess krisk and a bunch of others that everybody already has. I did get a kymar on a single ancient pull a long time ago. Rng decides. Lol I saw a guy pull 350 sacreds for a kymar and did not get him on a 10x for kymar event. It was sad to see it. Lol

Appreciate you not just uploading the shard opening vids where you get a legendary Ash. I totally agree with that comment about people wanting to pull when they see content creators get good stuff, not realising that maybe they had spent and tried many times to get to that point.
I appreciate the things you do to help people maintain a healthy relationship with playing Raid (i.e. predatory marketing, shard pull losses, etc). Posting only shard opening wins creates a false sense of stronger likelihood of a good outcome when pulling shards within the community, further contributing to gambling addictive behavoir.
I don't usually watch shard pull videos for that reason, but I was looking for something to do for a few minutes :)

I ended up getting Bushi, Bushi again, Amina, the fleshripper bull dude I think he's called, and I also got that weird candleabra head woman twice. All in all another kick in the balls feels like I saved them up for Jack Shit, and Jack left town.

I dig the fact ya left it as is, I've pulled 11 sacreds this week and not one have hit gold. I was devastated but it seems everyone's luck is bogus for now.

I have a six-star blessing for Candle Head. I'm so tempted to take her all the way just to see if she can shine somewhere. But I'll keep that on the back burner for now. There are too many proven champs to build up for now.

Hey Ash, I’ve been reaching out for quite a while. I am begging you please make more videos towards hydra. Different type of good teams using all kind of champions, like rare, epic and legendary champions, please no mythical’s a lot of people don’t have them so I am a mid game player with only one mythical. Well, anyways, I would like to be able to learn more about using the team set up feature learning what moves to shut off. Please make more videos focusing towards that. I would also like to see a few more videos Focus on the clan boss as well.
I may be way off base,but i always wonder do they really charge the ratio.it seems to me,some champs have a different pull ratio,despite being the rarity.i haven't seen anyone pull Alure yet.i watched HH voids shard pull & Ash,but neither got Genbo,or Arbiter(HH 140 void only 2 leggo😢).they're not on the bann list,i checked..?🧐Genbo is an epic with legendary ability.

Sometimes you pop 1 void and get Warlord. Sometimes you pop 17 sacreds on a 2x and get nothing. Both are examples of my shard pulls.
It's so important because so many people pull those bait event then goes into no leggo no fusion cycle and enter the "I can't do anything in this game" mindset

I opened up 32 voids during this void event and the best I got was epic dupes. I angrily pulled an ancient and pulled my first Mountain King. Not fully sure how I feel about it.
Mercy for voids are like 200ish I think? Might have a way to go.

Im lvl 86 and played everyday the last 10 months, trying to get as many sacred shards a possible, and i spent 600 bucks on sacred shards, and pulled 1 legendary champion, but i have 4, 3 star leggos from ancient shards, 0 from void and primal. And only pulled sacred on 2x or 15x

I pulled Shu-Zhen yesterday and got Marichka today out of 20 void shards. At the same time, I've pulled THIRTY-ONE (31) sacred shards since my last legendary champion. RNGesus giveth and he taketh away

I have been playing since early 2020 with long breaks but never knew the mercy system wasn't a thing back then. I know they didnt show it in game but I can't imagine it not being in the game. Congrats on that warlord, he is still an absolute beast after all this time. I would even prefer him over yumeko in some scenarios altough I am talking like I ever had a choice between these two, let alone pulling even one of them

I get wanting to re-up in hopes of pulling a legendary since that’s the basis for the amount donated. Have you considered, instead, looking at the prices for the packs you would otherwise buy and donating that or $100/pack you would have bought in hopes of striking gold?

I myself got two of the same epics today for void which were 1 in 52 random chance.

I quit 2 years ago and it’s been a blessing. Sold my main account for $10kusd 35m player power. I left during the first batch of mythicals were released. Game is continuing to go downhill but I do watch ash and others because they make it much better so I play through them.
How can you have quit 2 years ago and left during the first mythical champ releases, when the mythical champs were released around 8 months ago? Also, 10K?
@@themohaa2yes $10k and I don’t remember when I sold the account but I only watch CCs now for any raid stuff. Epic site I sold it on. All I know is I have saved $1000s by quitting raid and moving on to games less money hungry to be competitive. Mythical’s and polymorph ruined game and will continue to do so until Plarium corrects the issue.

This is why I don’t pull outside of fusion events. I much prefer pulling for known rewards and being surprised when I pull a legendary rather than being angry I got rooked again
I put UDK as my wish list, and second shard gave me Harima. What is the 15x for?
For me its when i see a video like this I hold off on summoning! Plarium loves puting evens without turning on Shared pulls(cheaters) , remember the Mythicals one? Everyone went for it and they pulled. I didn't do summoning Champions and that was a mistake so your videos help me know should i pull or not!
