And it's true, they promised much more things than what we currently have in game. There are still no flyers, no aquatics no different game modes, no different official maps, no nesting and many other things. So it's fair to still call it a demo I guess
The game feels, not optimale like the Isle. The grapghics, environment, gameplay self feels little stiff. And it's Just walking to carebaring players that then kill you.
I am VERY excited to see development on AI / edible NPC's. Thank you for continuing down that path, hopefully there will be more of them than the non-existant AI in The Isle. Their focus on deathmatch PvP was a big turnoff. I don't mind PvP, but I also enjoy being able to play a smaller carnivore without being completely on the bottom of the food chain, and critters will allow for that. I hope there's not too many more wipes, though, or that if you do... You would at least refund all spent/earned Marks back to our account for the first newly-created dino, if you have to wipe. It's a lot of grinding to be done in a early access/demo, and I'm not going to have time/energy to try other species of dinos if you keep wiping my main/favorite.
I thought it would be better than what I could test in-game in this last update, really BAD the fact that I can only grow with the dinosaurs through exhausting, time-consuming and unbalanced missions in many aspects of the map, I particularly would prefer to grow A LOT more with the creature's life.

When I saw the Allosaurus chilling with its babies I thought those were Ceratosaurus and I was like "Damn, he's a lot bigger than I thought he was gonna be" XD
I like the idea of questing to grow, however there needs to be some level of passive growth, maybe make players grow slowly but passively and quest for coins and faster growing speed.
I hope this game comes to steam at some point me and my buddies would definitely pick it up! And not sure if this is an option privately owned servers can do but i would love for it to be time based growth, and quests just being completed for nice cosmetics.
i wish for this too but its not gonna happen they are to deadset on keeping it on their own launcher and wish to avoid the review system that steam and other platforms have
Looking good! I’ve had this game for a while now and I’m so happy this game is being updated! Growth is huge! Only thing I would like to see is a more specific variation/specific dinosaur calls. They all sound far too similar to me still. Other than that, super stoked about the new development!

I wish quests weren't the only way to grow. Gaining EXP through kills should also be a growth buff indicator and passive growth should still exist but just on a much slower scale to incentivise interaction with the wider world.

growth needs some love it feels okay but its clearly lacking some major stuff (IMO: id love for xp gain on kill when below 30% hunger, maybe some better quests or up spawn rates on some of the branches (without competition i still struggled to get 100 branches), and last but not least hear me out now maybe bosses that require more than a few adols and or subs to beat and you would get massive xp for beating it (based on damage done).
I must say that as I heard you that if you die as an adult you respawn as a sub adult, that should be corrected. People already loose their minds over lost marks and locations. Also it really cheapen the PvP experience as the now people will feel like they can't enjoy their adult animal properly as they will loose everything they rightfully worked for. I have played The Isle and absolutely hated that if you die you must regrow again and again and was very pleased that Path of Titans did not have it. Although I love the idea of growth, it is not something I want to constantly experience with the same animal. Although it is great to see Path of Titans reaching new dynamics and realistic details like growth, I really must express my dislike of the adult form that I worked so hard for being taken away in death. The game feels more restricting and I can no longer enjoy spontaneous natural PvP as when the animal is at full potential.
I do have one question about the growing update. Do you have a choice of whether or not you want to start as a baby?, or do you have to start as one. Because personally i want to be a huge spino, and not wanna have to go through time consuming work to get there. So maybe add like a gamemode where you can choose to start as an adult and then have the normal gamemode where you start as a hatchling. ❤ (and if that already exists please correct me because ive never played the game and im getting it later today when i have time)

It doesn't. As a Lamb, I took like, 3 min to go from hatcling to juvenile with just 1 quest. It also depends which quest you do, it doesn't take too long but the bigger the dinosaur, the morr quests you'll have to do
@@gwit4051 I did my comment too quickly XD I spent 4 hours with a friend as conca and only got to half juvie, not even adolescent, but got more marks, the system seems to be heavily designed for you to do that with a huge group or alone and gain more growth buff

In my opinion this update sounded good at first, but as I started actually playing it became somewhat disappointing. The overall monotonous gameplay trying to complete quests that only give a very insignificant amount of growth gain took the fun out of this game for me. Even in a group, it feels more like grind than genuine fun. From my experience, trying to get to adult size while also trying to keep my dinosaur alive in the process is very difficult and pretty frustrating. I imagine it would be more beneficial if the quests were worth a lot more (growth-wise) along with having longer countdowns. This would, in theory, make the gameplay experience more engaging while also giving the players something to do that’s not totally strenuous. I, and probably many others would probably enjoy this update more if the growth was more feasible.

So I'm Isle player but have been eyeing this game for while. How is it for survival compared to The Isle, I heard Pot is mainly people just chating not really fighting. Is that true?
Havent played it for to long but it has some truth- I have seen hotspots just like in the isle were players fight but when you randomly run into another player its mostly ignoring each other and minding your own buisness. So your not already screaming once you see another dino and be more like "Are you hungry?.... No? Ok im glad!" xD

No, for a matter of fact, the free version will be deleted once the game is released, the free version is *not* to play, it's to simply bug-check the game, and if half the dinosaurs were free the devs would run out of money to make the game so no
Not a fan of not being to able to customize one's colors before hitting adolescence/sub. Also not a fan of the growth being built only on quests, which are just not designed to be of the same difficulty for different dino species. Slow dinos are at a massive disadvantage, and even with fast dinos like deinonychus, it really feels like too much of a grind. The first growth is OK, but as you grow more and more dinos, you realize how much time even a single one takes. It's a neat idea to encourage not doing the AFK growth, but I think there should still be some passive growth, and that the slower a dino is, the more it should gain from the quests - say a very slow dino has to complete 3 times lower amount of quests to grow up. I also miss an option to skip the tutorial.
All these dinosaur simulation games that allows the player to play as the Dino and stuff like that they need to make one of these games for console like one of these games got to come out for console One of these years it'll be interesting to see cuz then they can do like challenges and stuff whenever you log into the game and log online with other players

Why'd you make a update where u didn't have to be in homecave to edit abilities but now I have to I play on mobile and Everytime I enter homecave it kicks me out
