A well thought out presentation and the pacing of the video was great. The materials for the presentation were perfect and made the tying process very easy to follow. Loved the little hints for holding lines.
I prefer using a loop to loop to attach my tippet to the leader as it is quite easy to replace the tippet when necessary and the leader will not be shortened with each change of tippet! No tippet rings required! Very easy and leaders will last much longer! I gave up on the improved clinch a long time ago and have tried most of the knots available to connect hook to tippet in my 56 years fly fishing! The best knot for this purpose, imo, mis the Jack Miller knot…one of the strongest and very easy to tie! If you know how to make a perfection loop, you are already more than 1/2 way to this knot! I carry a safety style pin on an attached lanyard, stuck in my vest to remove glue from the eye of any flys which need it! Easier than using another fly and secure from loss! Good instructive video! Tight lines!
Loop to loop at the line to leader causes a disconnect in the transfer of energy down the line into the leader, toward the fly, affecting fly presentation.
Great video, thank you for the simplicity
Your tip on the triple surgeon was so helpful. Thank you
Thank you for this video. The Arbor Knot is so crucial.

Leader line to fishing line knots
I went back and checked... He did, in fact, say 'I'm a right-hand wanker angler'!!
