That’s great bro, I’m about to release a video asking people to snatch them, epos are no longer selling them on their website so looks like these will be gone forever very soon.
@@thephototechy I have a question. I am playing Cod:MW3 on Xbox series X, is it worth getting Dolby Atmos? I have my headset plugged into a controller.
@@richardjordan6748 hey the Dolby atmos app is the best sound experience on Xbox in my opinion. The issue will be which controller you are using, first party Xbox controllers sound really good, the best is the elite series 2 to my ears. Third party controllers is an issue, the only one sounds like the elite is the ROG Raikiri, every other controller has some issues from too much hiss to low volume levels. Dolby has a free test period of 2 weeks, I’d say definitely give that a go and use the game performance mode.
@@thephototechy Have you tried the closed back vs open back? I am looking at these EPOS (open or closed) vs Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro. I would like to know how the close back feel vs open back. Soundstage might be better on the open back but I usually cannot have them making noise so I am more inclined to take the close back, but I would like to know if the difference is that big. Most of reviews are good on these headphones, but found someone saying that open are amazing while close are really bad and the sound feels artificial (on footsteps specially).
Just got these for 70£ got hs65s for 50£ and i have hd599s perfect combo for changing between games music and movies hs65s are every bit as good as the closed version od h6pro but way lighter and cooler
Hey, yes thats the issue with every open back, Ive done extensive testing though, asked my party chat members if they heard my game audio, and if it was distracting and nobody said it was. The Public loobies though will hear alot, so you'll have to use the in game mic threshold options and they work perfecty. I've just made a comparison of this against the HD598 and the 598 is like fully open and these I'd say are like semi open.
@@thephototechy Have you tested the h6pro closed? I don't know if I buy the h6pro open or closed because of the issues with headset sound in the microphone.
@@hodoz9778 Hey I didn't test the closed back but I have the H3 Hybrid which is H3 with USB and Blueooth, also its a closed back. My take away is if you don't mid the seal thats created with the closed back and you'll be plugging this in the controller, then definitely closed back make sense. I personally don't like the seal around my ears and find myself constantly moving the headset to relieve heat, hence I like the open back. There is also the argument of competitive edge with open backs, having a somewhat bigger sound stage. TBH using the H3 hybrid I still felt as competitive, yes the sound felt too close to me and once I got adjusted I was fine. I do think about getting the H6 closed backs as I recently got the creative G6(for PS5) and the Astro Mixamp pro TR for series X, and I think Epos headsets do scale very well with more power, something I can't say for my Nova 1x and Recon200 gen2. I'd say closed backs suit alot more people than the open back and if you already use close backs without issues then I'd recommend the closed ones, unless you want to try the open airy soundstage of the openback. What are you usng currently?
@@hodoz9778 I’ve read some really good reviews of those, I don’t know the h6 would be a step up for you, maybe the built and comfort. Sound wise a lot of people really like the cloud alphas. I myself is contemplating between the cloud alpha s or the h6 pro closed back.
Hey I mostly use it on PS5 myself. If you plug it in the controller it might sound a bit quieter, but I’m using it with external sound cards and they work perfectly.
Thanks for the video man, I just got one no a sale in US for u$$ 84,00 plus taxes , cant wait to use it

It's an open back headset, so do we hear the headset sound on the microphone?

Does anyone know who made a sound test on this headset
Is open or closed back better to u?
open is far better except when you have really heavy background noises
you hear more soundqueues and it doesnt squeeze your head that much
@@Marcellooowo little late but thx bro😭
