The lash techs in my area use L curl only on certain eye types and natural lashes. Are L curls only suitable for people with straight lashes? Is their a technique that enables an artist to use an L curl on a curled/bent lash

Great question!! There are no real rules when it comes to lashing… anyone can use an L curl but L curl typically is used for clients with straighter lashes or clients who have more of a mono-lid eye shape. If the natural lashes are super curly, the L curl won’t lay as nicely and won’t sit as uniform on my lashes.
