Wow, I grew up in Crystal River and I remember when SpringHill was developed. It was a beautiful place and people could not wait to move there. I left Florida in 1981, your video has really opened my eyes to my home area. Thank you for the information.
This assessment of Spring Hill is outright crap. Spring hill is an awesome place. There is an area where some drugs are but as long as you know where that is you are fine.
I'm a nurse and I bought 4b/3b with a pool house in Spring Hill in 2018 my home value has increased 40k in just 3 years. I live in the Seven Hills Community. There are no houses for sale in my neighborhood. The cheapest houses are starting around 290k.
I lived and grew up in Spring Hill. I graduated at Central High School 2010. Let me tell you, this is a very accurate, unbiased and correct analysis of Spring Hill. This uploader really did his homework. Also, Spring Hill has a lot of water and beautiful scenery as well.
I'm don't totally agree with the majority of this video. I have lived in this area for 35 years plus. I raised 4 daughters who graduated from schools in Pasco County. My oldest daughter is in the 6 figure tax bracket. The second to the oldest is a stay at home Mother. The next daughter is a server at a nice restaurant that has a good clientele. She is also a mother of 1. My youngest daughter is a manager at the busiest racetrac in the Tampa area and her salary is over 60 thousand plus monthly bonuses are nothing to be ashamed of. I have seen her bonuses and close to a grand pet month. She also is a Mother of 1. 2 of the 4 own their homes . So this area can be good for raising children.. If you raise your children with the standards and respect that people are supposed have. This area can be as good as any other place in the whole United States. Family values are nonexistent in this world we live in. Yes there is a bad drug presence in this area but every town has a drug problem. The problem is the government will not address the drugs epidemic in this country. This epidemic has been evident in the United States for decades. It's been going on since the Vietnam War and before. The prejudice problem is equally evident in this whole country. If you give RESPECT to the majority of People will give you the same respect that you give them. We are all created with the same rights to be anything they want to be. We all have the same equally possibilities to be successful in life. It's up to the individual to make the right choices in life. We all want to live the American dream. That dream is what YOU make of it. You can't judge a book by its cover nor can you judge a person by their looks. There is only One who can judge us. The economy has a lot to do with how things are going in our country. Both parents have to work full-time jobs just to keep a roof over their families heads. Yes this video is one person's opinion about the areas they drive thru. Opinions we all have. But RESPECT is nonexistent in today's world. You don't have to like a person for whatever reasons you feel. But EVERY person on God's earth deserves respect. The political saying is agree to disagree. Like I stated before we all deserve to be respected. You only get what you give Respect me and I will give you the respect you gave me. This is My opinion and like I said in the beginning, I don't agree with the majority of the content of this video but I respect his opinion. Good night and thank you for listening to my opinion. Positive Vibes Only Peace and Love Always Hippie John ✌️ I currently live in Hernando County on 3.5 acres 1 mile from the expressway. I hope that someone will get some knowledge from my opinion.
You cant sugarcoat or be politically correct when it comes to subjects that affect peoples futures. too much lies and bias out there. specially from REALTORS.. they wanna sell you a house...
@Martin Luther projects in NPR? where at? must check it out! I know all the pigeon racing people.. my original channel on UA-cam was about pigeons i've probably done 50 videos in shady hills alone for that channel.
I bought a house in Spring Hills all my neighbors got more than 2 acres and I love it don’t know why are you saying it’s like every other state or city if you like being drugs you get drugs if you like being living comfortable you live comfortable we live ones it’s up to you
I live just a few blocks over from Commercial Way (US 19) Forest Oaks area, and it isn't awful like you said! I live in a nice neighborhood over here. There isn't any drug activity at all on my street. There are only retired people for the most part over here. I love Spring Hill, so it hurts to hear you say how bad it is. That isn't everywhere like you suggested. For the most part, Spring Hill is a beautiful city!
Wow very informative. Your absolutely right there is a good and bad everywhere and now in days drugs is on the high all over as well. No getting away from both unless you live underground or in the ocean lol I still am aiming on Spring Hill God willing and hopefully when I visit this end of Feb, I can fully make my decision. I myself am born and raised in NYC and reside now in CT so I’m used to all this craziness but I do try to avoid it as much as possible. As long as you keep to yourself and keep a good head on your shoulders and stay around the positive people, all that negativity will subside. Only you can make a place or a house your home. Thanks again 😎
This video was for you! Dont be afraid, that is the biggest regret i have in my life.. but DO, research with an open mind. renting at first is a great option when moving at first.
FLORIDA HOOD VLOGS Haha I kinda knew it lol thank you. I’m from NY we ain’t never scared 😜 def gonna be doing my research and fo sure I will be renting for a year first.
Unique 0303 Oh word my BF lives in Tampa (Riverview) I visited last Aug. her community is very nice but very expensive & out her community is something different. I was like oh nah not moving here. I’m going to Spring Hill to visit my other BF. They’re from the BX too lol Feb 24th - March 5th. I’m from Brooklyn. So I will make my decision then. Good luck on your journey hun. We want the best for our kids always. Reason I wanna get out of CT to ghetto, expensive and very boring. Take care.
I moved from there in 2019 and my parents wanted to but I really wanted to stay because I lived there for 12 years and have many friends and I would recommend this town because there is Weeki Wachi and Buccaneer Bay and is very fun and there are many beaches and I generally love the area.
I don’t. You smoking big hooka if you think Spring Hill his a good place, it’s nice buts it’s a non relavent part of Florida. Bunch of white people and no seasoning, I’m Hispanic and have been racially profiled. No black people or Hispanics and Ion really find no one cuz they all white. I ain’t gon be pulling no girls cuz they all white no seasoning no lips no flavor. U definitely white and don’t like leaving ur white friends
I’m really enjoying your channel. We’re planning on buying next year and our only requirement is that it has to be Florida. Employment not an issue but nice, quite, safe neighborhood is. You’re very informative and paint a real picture. Nowadays your kind of bluntness is rare.
You forgot all the northerners that come down every single year for our weather, and literally clog up ALL of the roads because they don’t know how to drive. It’s sad that 9 time out of 10 when someone pulls out in front of you or cuts you off, they usually have a New York tag on their car! Hate to say it but I can’t stand the snow birds that come to Spring Hill.
We're full up. I wish people would stop moving here! They're tearing up all our trees to make more apartments and crap because of it. Turning it in to a concrete jungle.
I don't' want to offend anyone, but honestly.. just because an area is white does not make it some perfect place. those under that impression will suffer greatly from their stupidity. New houses don't rob people, bad people do. Expectations higher than reality causes disappointments.
Home prices have sky rocketed! Check out the value of the new homes in the barrington at sterling hill. Starting at 400k. 1670 square ft home including the garage. 5ft side yards and 40 to the rear line.
Moved to Spring Hill in 1989 Was great place to grow up back then. The direction spring hill is heading it will be just like new Tampa soon. Way Over developed and populated. Once the drag strip is built the street racing and wheelies on the streets will be something else. Bye nature coast
Yep! It's sad to see what has happened to my home. It's only getting worse and worse. :( I want to move but this is where my family is and I don't want to leave them. :(
Been in Spring Hill for 45 years. A few points you missed is a huge presence of homeless people. I know quite a few of them due to having alot of empty property around my home. The crazy part is that most of them are getting disability every month, and pan handle during the day, and they make over 100 bucks a day in like 4 hours. I would say a very High percentage of them are on meth and crack. I've been robbed more than 5 times so far. I have a 1000 sqft garage apart from the house. Finally got tired of replacing tools every year, so now its covered in cameras and alarm system.
Dude coming from Syracuse NY this place is heaven. Im everywhere you go there's drug problems as long as you stay TF away from then you'll be cool. My grandfather has lived in spring hill for 19 years and has never had his home broken into.
There is better out there LOL - thats me me coming from Cuba to Maimi and be like, MENG, MIAMI ES HEAVEN BRO LOL -- Lots of NY people in Spring Hill.. if they keep coming it wont be heaven too long, they will make it be a little NY without snow. I like Southern hospitality big city people too rude. I dont get it I got a friend from upstate and hes a kind person but too many people from the big cities just rude jerks. Drug USE is everywhere but drug PROBLEMS are not. some places are always better than others. COOL bike, thats a nice area to bike ride
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS you can't hate on us upstate New Yorkers for wanting a better life in a warmer place. Thanks on the bike and yes there's a lot of great places to ride up here, same as there's great places to ride down there.
@@nyrob420 I dont hate them for wanting better, I just wish they were more respectful to other this isn't the snow tundras or some big city , you can smile and hold a door open for someone.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS I agree and I do respect everyone as im respected. We should really hang out sometime and make a video of questions of why we move there and why you don't like us there. Not you and me personally not wanting that, but the whole Fl. vs. NY debate... Im moving there within the next month from upstate NY and know a lot of us that are doing the same.
@@nyrob420 sounds like an awesome idea. I get what you mean and its an awesome concept. once your down here reach out again. My friend tito is from NY he lives in Spring hill. If you like pigeons they have the largest pigeons racing club in USA. I have a video about SHADY HILLS coming soon to my channel. its JUST SOUTH of spring hill.
Another thing about this place and the drug scene is that there isnt any place for kids to go. Unless your 21, there are a ton of bars, and most of time they are within 2 miles of each other. When we first moved here, they had a few things to do, and the holidays, they would have decorations at the entrance and along SH drive. Now they have nothing. If you want anything to do, most of the time you have to go to citrus and pasco.
Great video as always! Very informative and more importantly... HONEST! A quality seriously lacking in our society today... My favorite part? "But do you boo boo" Lol I say that all the time 😂😂
I live in Spring Hill, Fl now for a year. I moved here for the schools being rated higher than Tampa. Stop 🛑 please with you know it all. I’ve been to Naples and it was more scary across from the beach and high end high rises. I haven’t seen but 3 homeless people here and I haven’t seen drugged out people. Don’t listen to this man. I live here. I have a beautiful home. Got a great deal for first time homeowner through FHA. I live by surround by I know 6 homeowners and only 1 rental. No HOA, but you can’t tell because everyone takes care of their properties. People should already take into consideration where they work or plan to when buying a home. So, if you committed to get a country feel by moving to Spring Hill. There is old homes yes! Every place has its ZIP codes. There are poor yes. That is very where. It’s is beautiful country here. Beautiful homes here. I just don’t like him thinking he knows people here and he doesn’t. This place reminds me of a Lexington, Ky. I lived there 17 years. I am from the county born and raised. I do like the diversity.
LMAO, I was just in Lexington, yeah compared to that cow turd Spring hill is better LOL - that town is druggie central. You can go see my video there, what a dump even worst than Louisville. Yeah of course coming from Lexington LOL
i got into a fight with a druggie crack head in Lexington. the people came to defend the crackhead instead of me who decided i had enough of his annoying aggressive begging.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS every place no matter where will have ugly nasty people. It’s sad but true. I just like it here and am happy with my neighborhood my daughters school and I’m not seeing what people are saying about Spring Hill. I am sorry you had a bad experience in Lexington. I would have helped.
Springhill is nothing like it used to be. I moved there in 2002, I regret moving my kids to springhill, my teens were approached with class mates selling drugs, They told me I had no clue what they could of done if they wanted to. A parents nightmare.
honestly, I have not been there in too many years for my opinion to be relevant. before you buy, spend a good week there.. on the streets scoping it out. I wanted Dixie county due to how affordable it is.. and after being there it terrified me. poor, people dump garbage everywhere.. just scope it out good. I know the real estate there is cheap. Lake city nearby i DID NOT LIKE IT. very trashy town. ALACHUA, nearby.. DID NOT LIKE IT. trenton nearby, VERY COUNTRY but trashy.. if its anything like the surround area.. (which it may not be)... I did not like it. you have to be a very southern person with low sensibility to backwoods stuff for that region of florida. its like what you'd think Alabama would be. do watch their real estate its incredible how cheap. make sure you ask people around the property about mosquitoes.. ticks, and other pest that could make your life miserable for huge portions of the year. Drugs have made a huge dent into rural florida. just make sure your sensibility to hillybilly land is not too high. cuz its backwoods for sure. but hey, that might be nice for you. more down to earth people. if your coming from the city life and used to it id say NO 🤣🤣😃😃😃
bro thanks for this video, me and my family left Springhill in 93, been wanting to buy my parents a house there again for retirement , this isn't the way we remembered it. it was beautiful back then . although living in Toronto Canada for the past 22 years , all this still doesn't sound that bad
I bought my house 3 years ago in Spring Hill and yes I work in Tampa takes me an hour to get to work. I enjoy my life because I'm not wasteful and know how to manage my debt and take many vacations with wife and kids. Not much to do out here so I'm pretty much back in Tampa/Clearwater/Brandon area. But your rants are funny. I have great neighbors but also your correct about Northerners. Many houses I find are not owner occupied or used as rental properties. I move for investment reasons. I'm a Florida native and also grew up in California. It's growing fast 😭 but like I said I'm here for investment. Northerners do not know how to drive frustrating almost like sleep driving lol. Meth heads are a problem I didn't even know about it till I moved here and to see how people carry themselves. Missing teeth black teeth kind of scary lol. I'm a city kid lived in Miami and Los Angeles. I personally love the more farm land, country.....tired of idiots lol. 😍
you been to rainbow river yet? the caves north of brooksville? how about croom wildlife area? fishing? I like fishing around yankeetown awesome town for day trips to be honest.
I live in Spring hill off county line but I also lived of elgin. I hate Spring hill there is nothing for children except weeki wachee, Ymca, and now a jumping place. Every thing is so far away and I never see buses. Homes are cheap here but there are pros n cons. Its a bit congested as well. There are over 110,000 ppl that live here. Lots of restaurants but no mall.
compared to Naples few restaurants. try the croom wildlife area! rainbow river, the caves north of brooksville! cedar key, micanopy. cross creek, there are things out there you just need to expand your thinking of fun. try going to swampys bar and grill in dunnellon or the clearwater mall? how abot the homosassa river? rent a boat there and go to monkey island. becareful going out the rocks are bad you can crash but if you go north its cool. plenty to do just expand your idea of fun.
Thanks for making the observation that often when people move here from up north they don't know how to appreciate the natural features of FL. I have seen this pattern my whole life, all over the state. Controversial maybe, but needs to be said.
Also, go check out Land O Lakes!!! I built & owned a beautiful home for 8 years in Oakstead, a upscale gated community on 54... Plus, there are many other gated communities along 54 & in Land O Lakes... I know live over on the east coast, on the Treasure Coast but, I miss my Land O Lakes & Wesley Chapel area, very much!!!
They don't like northerners? I grew up in this town and most of the people here are either from up North or their parents are from up North. My parents being an example...Your emphasis on drug use in certain pockets is accurate, however, you're totally off on telling people that they don't like North Easterners. This is just bs...Also, the population is roughly 20% White/Hispanic. There are a lot of Latinos in Spring Hill and there have been lots of Latinos here since the 90s. Most of my friends from the 90s and early 2000s (from Spring Hill) are Latinos...Just an odd summary of this town.
AS A 12 YEAR RESIDENT of Spring Hill FL I clicked on this video thinking there’s no way this guy is going to accurately portray Spring Hill. I was wrong and this was crazy accurate for someone who doesn’t even live here. If anyone is questioning this guys legitimacy. Don’t. He just earned a new sub as a Florida resident.
Timber pines is a nicely kept neighborhood with average homes. Has an ok golf course. But the people that live there are EXTREMELY nosey, and they complain about EVERYTHING. so its give and take. If you aren't interested in golf, then their are nicer gated, and even ungated neighborhoods, that have nicer places, but without the neighbors from hell.
Excellent info, thank you. Also about Lehigh Acres where I considered living for a minute. I want more than 1 acre, I'm a hippie farmer, so am checking out these rural areas: Spring Hill, Plant City, Lakeland and pockets north of Tampa. Wanting to be safe, I respect the southern mentality but I'd rather not be hated. Pretty pigeons!
Definitely agree with not getting a house on a main Street, it can be a nightmare getting in and out of the driveways. One of the streets has a posted speed limit of 45mph and it can be a challenge. Also streets can be semi confusing to newer visitors (or even people who don’t travel that area often) because there are a couple with the same name on opposite sides of the city and they don’t connect (under the name they have a 1, 2, or a 3 to make it “easier” but lol no). Off the top of my head I can count 2 movie theaters, 2 bowling alleys, 4 McDonalds, 3 Burger Kings, 3 Taco Bell’s, 2 Applebee’s, 1 Popeyes, 1 Denny’s, 1 IHOP, 1Red Lobster, 1 Cody’s, 1 Texas Roadhouse, 2 Pizza Huts, and various others. Even our fancy dress restaurants (when you can find them) are varying degrees of fancy. We are building more stores and it is nice to see. I’ve lived here my whole life and I’m really starting to see more younger families move into the area. When I was growing up (90’s) it was still more of an older generation area. So while my school did have a lot of kids in it, my blocks didn’t have too many same age friends in quick walking distance. Our one big attraction is Weeki Wachee state park (live underwater mermaid show) and Buccaneer Bay water park (think small scale) and the springs where you can kayak and canoe down. But the water is ALWAYS cold because it is spring fed it stays around 68-72 degrees. But it’s a nice bit of history (Elvis actually visited back in the day)
I think it might be an interesting stop to go to the parks if you are in the area. It does fill up fast as once they reach the full capacity they stop letting anyone else in even if people leave during the course of the day, no more tickets are sold. In my opinion it’s worth a shot if you are interested in that sort of thing, but if you don’t the chance, you aren’t missing out on too much because it is a smaller park so don’t go expecting big park experiences. Also there are a few public beaches in the area if you want that instead. One is at the end of the kayak path from renting at the park and I believe that beach has free parking (smaller lot though) and it’s colder fresh water on the spring. Then you have Pine Island (pay to park) and that is warmer salt water as it’s off the gulf. But I like the history of the park and it holds a special place in my heart. It is interesting to see the mermaids perform. Kids might get a kick out of it. It has been a while since I’ve gone so I’m unsure of ticket prices, if you can get combo tickets for both parks or just one side. Hope this helps any
I just found this video today out of curiosity. Spring Hill has been a blessing in my opinion, coming from a suburb near Chicago, this place is quiet. As long as you aren't an addict to drugs the town isn't bothersome. Only problem I deal with are older people that are driving that shouldn't be. Thanks for the review but a little criticism doesn't hurt.
And so did the overdose death rates.. its an even bigger crap hole now than before. And wait till crap goes to the toilet.. that area is so overvalued its unreal
Hi Jose, in your opinion what are the best, most affordable areas outside of Tampa? I have a son who'll be a seniors next year, so school has to be factored in. Thanks for these vids, a big help!
They just released 2019, which is a little different. Remember I said DISTRICT on the video.. Districts are not the same as counties. Also they just released 2019, when i did this video i was studying 2018-2017. this is the REAL source for crime stats not those stupid online list.. and fool can make those, including me LOL www.fdle.state.fl.us/FSAC/UCR-Reports.aspx
try this link. just click on the type of crime, and it will tell you stats. with a map of the state to compare. you will notice, broward and pasco-pinellas dominate the state. probably fallowed by orlando and miami www.fdle.state.fl.us/FSAC/Data-Statistics-(1).aspx
You my friend sound racist. I lived in Spring Hill for 3years, and My nextdoor neighbor was a retired Detective and Directly across the Street from me was a Newer Neighbor (He and his Wife From New State...they were Ricans....Best neighbors ever. And we all became friends. My neighborhood was fully integrated. I lived on Lagorce at the time and before that I lived on Linden Dr. You're so Wrong about Everything related to Spring Hill Florida.
The reason I moved to Florida was because it was dirt cheap! I moved from D.C. the only way I passed the time down there was doing UA-cam vlogs. I had to move back to VA because I wasn’t happy.
I live in the area, and factually you are getting a lot wrong. For instance, Pinellas county is not the "whitest county"...there is a significant black and latino population there. And Tampa, the place you claim that everyone drives to work, is not 60 miles away... Just hop on state road 589 and you can get there is 30-35 minutes, and ANYTIME you live on the outskirts of a major city, because of all the benefits on not living right in the city, there is going to be a commute.
How you make money in realestate is you buy as much land as possible outside devoted areas. The one thing that noone can make any more of is property so if you buy on the outskirts of a big developed area sooner or later that property will be valuable.
Wow, is there anyone else tha can give some info on Brooksville, this seems to be focused on the amount of Puerto Ricans that are moving there , I have done some research and have found it to be opposite of what he said. Which to me was kind of r--. Next.
Brookesville has 2 different extremes. Twigg street and around MLK is VERY ghetto but then you go towards ridge manor and people have some real money and it’s very rural

Do you know anything about that area or have any advice about buying a home there? I want to live in an area where my wife can feel safe but im not up scale or naive to Florida culture. God bless.
I'm looking for places to live on the west coast of Florida for hopefully a move next year. I have to say this video is as confusing as it is informative. He says there's plenty of crime and then later says its "Quiet and Peaceful". I'm from the Northeast so I'm used to a little bit of everything. He keeps referring to these pockets as hoods then compares it to Philly or Baltimore. Then later he says "A house isn't that important" What? You're home is EVERYTHING. I think I need to do more research from a better source. Thank you though for your video...

I'm moving out of AZ, and I've been torn between Spring Hill and Ocala. I'm hearing all sorts of conflicting stuff about undulating crime rates and such, but I imagine that's mostly just due to how volatile the world is right now and everything and everyone is in a constant state of flux. I feel real bad for the property sellers in this area though. Some *really* fucking nice houses are unsellable due to the rising water levels.
My family, 6 of us, moved to Florida from the southwest desert. I am retired and didn’t need or want to be in a big city, been there did that. The younger kids wanted to be in the Tampa area; I wanted affordability so my mortgage would be very low. In 2021 we found a great house that backs onto a pond in what is a really nice neighborhood where pride of ownership is very important and there is an unspoken agreement about maintaining curb appeal. The move’s biggest surprise is that my housing dollar went farther here than it would have at that time in Santa Fe, New Mexico, which was my previous home town. I think where I am is beautiful, I love Florida and in 15 minutes from Sam’s at the Beach. I’m surprised listening to this narrative which sounds like this guy thinks every con he brings up isn’t found in every suburb or bedroom community. He doesn’t seem to be aware of his own prejudices. 😂. So driving an 83 blazer makes you a certain kind of person. Wow🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

If you give RESPECT to the majority of
People will give you the same respect that you give them.
You only get what you give
Respect me and I will give you the respect you gave me.

I hope that someone will get some knowledge from my opinion.
The drive along 19 is actually not that bad, specially north of 50.
@Combustible Bunny Ha! You need to travel more than 10 miles from home.
You give us a real on the ground sense of the community. A childhood friend lives in SH.

@Martin Luther i got a shady hills video coming soon just need to edit it. any neighbors have racing pigeons?
“On my street” 🤣🤣🤣🤣⚠️😂⚠️⚠️⚠️ just go one street over than???
I moved to Spring Hill (Hernando Beach) from NY in 87. It's a nice area. There was a pill problem a decade ago but it's gotten much better.
Unique 0303 Not yet. Checking it out End of Feb in hopes of moving June 30th.
I'm glad you exist... Thank you for helping me out with information. I sense that you're an honest person.
I’m really enjoying your channel. We’re planning on buying next year and our only requirement is that it has to be Florida. Employment not an issue but nice, quite, safe neighborhood is. You’re very informative and paint a real picture. Nowadays your kind of bluntness is rare.
Best of luck! Too many people LIE thats NOT what you NEED

Thank you for this video. It was a good advice.
Wow! This was a very honest & thorough video. Thank you so much!
Might be moving here in a year or so for family so I'm trying to prepare myself. Thanks for the video and straight facts man!
Don’t do it, I lived in SH for 30 years off and on. I’d never move back
Moved to Spring Hill in 1989
Was great place to grow up back then.
The direction spring hill is heading it will be just like new Tampa soon. Way Over developed and populated. Once the drag strip is built the street racing and wheelies on the streets will be something else. Bye nature coast
gone to crap for real.
Yep! It's sad to see what has happened to my home. It's only getting worse and worse. :( I want to move but this is where my family is and I don't want to leave them. :(
I also want to thank you for all the advice you share

Just moved here lol I WISH these prices were the same still. I for sure enjoy it here. It’s easy to kinda get used to the Florida way of life.

Yep I’m from Spring Hill Florida. I miss it tho am I crazy for that?
Nah fam I only lived there a year and kinda miss that vibe
I'm from Baltimore you don't scare me, lol. We plan on movin here next year.. probably wont bat an eye and said riff raff

Kevin 😟 wow! Its that bad? Unreal! I know the people scared me at times.

I would have helped.
Springhill is nothing like it used to be. I moved there in 2002, I regret moving my kids to springhill, my teens were approached with class mates selling drugs, They told me I had no clue what they could of done if they wanted to. A parents nightmare.
I think that's everywhere though. In California it's like that too, drugs everywhere
Brother, you speak the truth! Thanks. Any thoughts on Live Oak? We are considering retiring to 5 acres there.
honestly, I have not been there in too many years for my opinion to be relevant. before you buy, spend a good week there.. on the streets scoping it out. Drugs have made a huge dent into rural florida. just make sure your sensibility to hillybilly land is not too high. cuz its backwoods for sure. but hey, that might be nice for you. more down to earth people. if your coming from the city life and used to it id say NO 🤣🤣😃😃😃
Oh god,dont do it

Glad I could help, this video a few years old too this state changes fast

I'm wanting to move there at around Christmas, this has made me weary
AS A 12 YEAR RESIDENT of Spring Hill FL I clicked on this video thinking there’s no way this guy is going to accurately portray Spring Hill. Jose, what do you think about Timber Pine a 55 community located near Spring Hill?
its gated, and 55 plus.. should be safe. never been inside to know. close to most shopping etc.
It's in Spring Hill. But it's nice and safe.

But it’s a nice bit of history (Elvis actually visited back in the day)
LAD385ify would u consider it a tourist trap? Its so packed always.. i stay at hotel across the street and cant believe the lines to get in
I think it might be an interesting stop to go to the parks if you are in the area.

Where is a good, safe place to live instead? I'm looking to move in a few years and I don't think I can afford Naples. I wish.

Pinellas is the whitest county. Only recently latinos moving in as the whites die off from ODs. This video is a few years old now

How you make money in realestate is you buy as much land as possible outside devoted areas. The one thing that noone can make any more of is property so if you buy on the outskirts of a big developed area sooner or later that property will be valuable.

Yea its both... its a slow place but it has crime. Its not new york this is a whole diffrent world
I might be moving there.
@@OLoideain2323 see you soon! Haha! I can't wait to get back to slower and more rural! Nothing good happens after dark, my grandma used to say, and boy was she ever right.
Could you even imagine if a white man made a video talking about the blackest city in Florida
Ok ! I think we are going to get alone pretty well ! I love to use my ignorance over ignorance 😂
Thanks for the información .
Is sterling hill in spring hill express a good community? Thx
If you have kids DONT BRING THEM TO SPRINGHILL... nothing to do unless you wanna pick them up from a jail cell 🤣
or meth lab...
This is literally the worst place ive ever seen and ive had to deal with this shithole for 4 years. Im only a freshman but god damn i want to go back home to tampa. I can gladly say im the only one making it out of this place.
Drug use major in polk County. Pasco
I have lived in Spring Hill since 1986. This guy does not know Spring Hill at all.
Tell me more..
Agreed. He is full of shit. SH is beautiful especially if you ride motorcycles. Street or dirt.
@@LuciusKyrus where in spring hill can you ride dirt bikes? You have to go to brooksville, or north past 50.
No as a resident of Spring Hill this is the most accurate video I ever seen.
This video is pretty accurate. I disagree with a couple of minor details but after living there almost 30 yrs and growing up there he’s on point.
Hahahaha...yeah...sure. 😄
Pasco yes but not Pinellas county
Wow🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Anyone with an 83 blazer is in disparate situations
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS you probably meant ‘desperate’ but it’s ok. Spelling says a lot.
Do you consider your self Spanish who was born in Cuba. And do you consider yourself white or colored
Enjoy The Dream Life i dont even know what i am anymore to be honest.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS How about American? As an American, I endeavor to be color blind. You're doing a great job Jose. You're providing much needed information.
Colored??? Sounds like one of the Florida racist
@@juicekrewe8490 what do you call a color, you should be so blind. Are we talking white black brown yellow red as what? think a little bit. I care for neither
@@markhull1366 100%! what about American, thats my point Kudos to you for catching this
THATS MY HOUSE ON THE LEFT IN THUMBNAIL
oh wow! yeah i did this video a long time ago. small world indeed
Really getting tired of all these d bags moving here and ruining everything. I'm in Brooksville but they are trying to migrate from Spring Hill and it sucks.
Agreed! Born and raised in brooksville and I live in spring hill. Way too many people moving here. We're full. Go away lol it's to the degree I feel like I'm being pushed out of my own home. They're tearing everything down and building more houses, apartments and businesses. Soon this will 100% be a shell of its former self.
@@britnyboo138 Have to agree! Traffic sucks, most of the people, not all but most bring their crappy attitudes and shit driving along with them.
Don’t move here at all trust me as a kid that grown up here it’s not worth it

This really sucks that this guys got over 30,000 views of all lies and think about all the lies are going out to 30,000 people wow that sucks
Im from nj and moved to spring hill in my highschool years. Graduated from springstead. I left with great memories of fun times and great friends for life.
Used to live in Spring Hill the Springs there are amazing
Brooksville holds Spring Hill down.
That's the ghetto
Cape Coral then Naples if you can afford it can live in a better neighborhood that's the Dilemma
Brian Fluman twigg street the capital of brooksville lol
Brooksville = Hicksville
You forgot home of Billy Mansfield also
Hey bro, I really enjoy your video's, although sometimes I disagree or feel you are leaving some things out. You made no mention of the proximity to the Suncoast Parkway which is a direct 45 mile ride into Tampa. Also, there are some smaller beaches along the coast which are closer than Clearwater that are an hour or less drive.
I absolutely hate toll roads and long commutes. I enjoy my money and my time, and that takes from both. Ive been to the “beaches” around there.. sorry but i live in naples i have real beaches 2 miles away.. they dont have beaches up there.. and i hate that toll road to tampa i take us19 or 41 when i can instead
I leased an duplex there.
I didn't like it at all.
debbie kernes not much to do.. just houses
