- What a drive! I drove this pass on a late Tuesday evening. I love these roads where the terrain changes often.
The video starts in Guillaumes, and finishes entering Barcelonnette.

That is beautiful.. i feel like im traveling while watching your video.. sending all the support.. safe drive.. see you and stay connected.
Good day. Many thanks. Saw for the first time. Enjoyed of course. Bravo! Didn't forget to press the like button. Lots of love and greetings from your subscriber. Country Azerbaijan. Baku city
Thank you for showing this beautifull track. At the first 24 minutes it nearly felt as if being on the future on Mars with that landscape around the vehicle
Thank you for sharing. Will put on our wishing list too. 🏍️👌🏍️
Wonderfull
Very beautiful video
Beautiful Route and landscape. Congratulations on the video!
A wonderful trip, I like
Beautiful! We attempted this Col last summer with our camper van (the other way around though, from Barcelonette to Guillaumes), but turned around after a couple kilometers because the roads were a bit too terrifyingly small for us. We turned around just at 58:18 at that wider spot before the bridge (with out 6m vehicle), it was quite a terrifying drive! Nice to be able to see the full drive this way :)
really enjoyed your drive tour, I love France
This is a really special one. 🙏
Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
Que lugar magnífico! 🇧🇷👍
I must express a heartfelt thank you for these fabulous videos. No words, no music, just the pure expression of the road, and some very smooth driving.
But this one made me emotional by it’s beauty, the natural camber of the road, the rhythm of the turns, the changing light... melodic and something very special.
If I ever get back to France from Australia before I go, I’m driving this one.
Salute! 🍸
PS. Been trying to guess your car, going for a Mercedes AMG C Class. 😉
It's a Tesla Model 3 Performance. He leaves the information about all the gear used on every video :)
@@RaviTejaTh3Boss Thank you- explains the acceleration! 👌🍸
Beautiful!
Very beautiful video. I’ve been there last summer.
Great...i've been driving there in 2018 back from Nice on my way back to Paris....the landscapes in this area are simply astonishing, tried also Col de la Bonette and col d'Allos....

Loved every second of it:)Thanks a lot for this hope to see some winter drives one day:)
Thanks! I have no trips planned any time soon but did make a list of passes in the Alps open during winter. Hopefully border crossing will be okay by then.
@@RoadtripThroughTheLens Looking forward to it:)
Very nice trip to Barcelonette. You are a very good driver with a very good car (Tesla model 3). I'm going to see the Cormet de Roselend and other roadtrips. Thank you and continue.
This road looks nerve wrecking and extremely fun at same time.
Very Nice!!
That was my favourite pass of the whole Route des grandes Alpes 😍 And I had it all for myself in September 2021, no traffic!
Nice travel: thanx 🙏
Amazing
Amazing views and beauty but the drive up feels perilous. Great views at sunset. Make several stops along the way where possible to take it all in.
Fantastic
I am afraid behind the Pc when i watch your outstanding videos.
👍 espectacular
Thank you for these I love then and I would like to recommend doing a spectacular route in France and that would be the D2211 in the Parc Naturel Regionel des Prealps d’Azur I have seen this on street view I live in the uk and do not drive so having a drive through this I think would great
Drove there a year ago, indeed spectacular! ua-cam.com/video/_GiYH4dtPdY/v-deo.html
Epic.
Cool, Indonesia here !
Eu quero é novidades tu és o melhor cara, se liga...!
Cool 💯💯💯
Good!!!
Never drove the Cayolle this direction, only from north to south. And i always drove it in the morning seeing hundreds of marmots. Still its my favroite pass on grand tour de alpes.
DANGEROUS DRIVERS!
Would be cool to see a map of this area in the beginning of vid, for us strangers.
I plan to do that in future videos. Hopefully we can travel again soon.
You move along at a fair clip. Easy does it, stay safe. This and other videos are outstanding - and the mapping, too - very helpful. Where do you mount the camera? Thanks.
Thanks! I mounted the camera on the roof of the car.
Me encanta el recorrido, Pero quien maneja el vehiculo, lo hace muy rápido. No deja que se aprecie en detalle el paisaje. Quienes miramos este tipo de videos, nos gusta observar a una velocidad menor.
I more than agree. Scenery and ambiance are fabulous. Unfortunately the driving speed too... I am playing this video at 25-30% of normal speed (when uphill) during my hometrainer workouts. The world gets rather 'frozen' at such playback speeds. But still it is one of the best videos of its kind over the whole internet. Thumbs up!
🥰🥰
👍👍🛣️🇦🇲🌅

Stunning view !!
Could you tell me where your starting point is?
Sure, it's here: www.google.com/maps/search/44.093037,+6.852472. I'll try to add more details to future videos.
@@RoadtripThroughTheLens Thank you~ have a nice day~
32:36 Is that plant (purple looking) on the side of the road called "vetch"? anyone know?
No idea
Was für ein Wahnsinn, derartig durch die schöne Landschaft zu BRETTERN!
What car do you drive?
How can the road be this vacant??
Ist das eigentlich eine Sightseeingfahrt oder ist das ein AUTORENNEN mit sich selber?

A paisagem é bonita mas à velocidade a que ela é percorrida, não se pode apreciá-la como merecia.
Hello, We would like to use your video in a french documentary. Could we discuss? Thank you!
Apparently, you didn´t like the landscape and wanted to arrive at your final destination as soon as possible.
Procura uma via mais movimentada.
This looks like a lovely drive, but it's too fast--a scenic drive should be leisurely.
You make brilliant road films. But it is not justice that UA-cam not wide recommend yours films. I need seek authors like you between big pile low quality stupid and boastful road clips with curiously high rating. YT algorythms sucs. 8-((
That's true. I am also struggling with this, it is very difficult as a new creator to trigger the algorithm and be shown to other people. I get to see videos that are 6-7 years old and of bad quality instead of crystal clear videos like this one. Fortunately, somehow the algorithm showed me one from Roadtrip through The Lens, and so I discovered it :)
The only vehicle that fits to this fascinating landscape is a racing bike (without a motor).
Motor vehicles should not be allowed in such a great surrounding.
Beautiful scenery. Why did you need to drive so fast? Your speed ruined it for me. There are rally stage videos I can watch if I'm interested in speed. Still, I appreciate your effort and thank you for posting.
Tom, go to the settings on the page and set it to play at; ).35, .05, .75, normal. Hope this helps, Enjoy
