I miss the good old days when Bran castle was just Bran castle not the market trap made by the actuall owner (austrian guy Dominic Habsburg) with the "help" of Bram Stoker. I recommend Peles Castle or Corvin Castle or if you want to see Dracula's real castle, you can visit Poienari fortress. Unfortunately, I think it is currently under renovation at this moment.
Welcome to Romania. Sorry to say that, but you got the story a bit twisted. Transylvania always had Romanian people in it , even if all the regions were not united at the time. So actually the Habsburgs, which was Hungarians and Austrians , steal it from us( Transylvanian) so the Hungarian did not lose it but we just tuck back what originally was ours . So this is the right way to tell the story. Enjoy your trip.
