I think usually male allies or privileged allies (I have that small tendency too, which is really horrible) would go all "omg I'm so sorry I interrupted you what a horrible dude I am" and then sort of "gift" time off almost. If they notice it at all, that is. That's why I really like this cast's nonchalant awareness.
He doesn't deserve lauding for that. He interrupted them throughout the interview as if he's the best thing ever.
Victor K. you're right -- he doesn't deserve lauding at all!!!! & i may have missed the other times he interrupted her. I definitely noticed that they were talking loudly and overpoweringly and not letting her speak, so that's true. I fully get that. it's probably my preexisting biases that softened what I saw.

Brooklyn Nine Nine is one of those shows where all the characters are so good, that even without one of them the episode seems dull.

The thing you have to consider is that not only Andy plays what can be considered the main character, but he's also one of the show's producer. So in that sense, yes, he leaving means a greater deal than any of the others, who are just actors. B99 is the Andy Samberg show, in a way

PLEASE. EVERYONE TUNE IN TO SEASON 6 OF B99. If we can get a lot of viewers during each epc, NBC will renew it for more seasons, and more episodes. NBC are testing the waters with season 6 to see if it;'s worth it. We got the show back fgor 13 eps, so let's show the same support by watching it live on their channels.

Dude nbc want several series. It's only a shorter series cos of the cancellation they have less time to shoot. So for scheduling they are making on short series. Nbc owned it, Fox bought it, nbc wanted it back anyway. It's safe for at least 5 years with these new contracts. Don't worry.
Gam Sansam I hope you're right man. I just assumed no one picked the show up because of viewing numbers, which is what all tv shows come down to, no matter what. Only show that actually makes me laugh, and that all the characters are great.
Gam Sansam I'm not sure about that. Andy sort of insinuated season 6 will be the last in another interview. They might have already planned to end it after season 6. And if ratings aren't good, NBC will drop the show for sure. They've already brought back shows for 1 season and cancelled them right after. I'm worried it'll really be the last season
Choice_5star I wouldn't worry. The there is a contractual agreement for 3 more series, one will only be 14 episodes due to time constraints and schurr has said he's roughly outlined all the way through to the end of 8. So that's 6(short series) then 7 and 8 make 3 series. It was also suggested the show could carry on without samberg, I don't think it would work, but next series is definitely not the last

big bang isn't that great of a show like everyone makes it out to be. i laugh out loud more at watching Brooklyn nine nine then i did with big bang. and big bang has a live studio audience. when other people laugh you laugh. but, it wasn't that way for me with big bang.
The problem was the lack of promotion. Fox didn't promote the show at all. I started watching it only bc I'm a fan of Andy. A lot of my friends I recommended it to had never heard of it
Season 6 hasn't even started and NBC is promoting the crap out of B99! Fox could never!! Also, Big Bang Theory is awful.
It is not necessary to cr^p all over BB in order to raise up B99. There are still people who love BB and who mourn its end. Have respect. In the meantime, congrats on B99.
