I honestly don’t have a question, but I just wanted to thank you for all the quality work you put out, but also for constantly informing and teaching others as well. From your UA-cam videos and recent IG reels tutorials you’ve been super helpful and have provided me with so much knowledge on my creative journey. Good luck with getting your work in a print magazine! I just know it’s a matter of when, not if!
I just want to say like others have said, thanks for not gatekeeping. This is my personal acct and not where i post my work, but idc. It's a big deal for artists these days to be open, progressiveness is amazing. Social media, although fast paced seems to restrict people's imaginations or confidence in not only creating but accepting ideas that are not currently "trending", when they are the next big thing.
Great Video Gaku! I've been a Pro Extreme Sports Photographer for 35 Years. Was Lucky enough to be Very successful shooting Film during the Heyday of Magazines and was Published in more than 800 Magazines including Many Covers, Double Spreads Articles etc all over the World. I was Very interested to know you are shooting Film more and more and would definitely like to know more about the Trend for Photographers shooting more Film these days. You are really good at these Commercials shoots and thanks for Sharing your knowledge!
I was looking at tutorials on how to create a physical portfolio on a website when I stumbled on this video. I didn't get what I wanted but I got some advice that im grateful for. I was rushing the portfolio, hardly having any pics and for the ones I did; the photos themselves were rushed. thank you for the given clarity
Hi , I enjoy your videos as I’m trying to learn about stocks. My husband and I had mutual funds years ago, but he didn’t like the returns and got out. Since then, we’ve made some profits through land sales. Even though I’m 66 and have never invested in stocks, I’d like to try with a small amount of money and see what happens. Any thoughts for me?
Personally, I would say have a mentor. Not sure where you will get an experience one, but if your knowledge of the market is limited, it seems like a good bet.
Well I recommend you make a diversification plan because it's been harder to build a good financial portfolio since COVID. My colleague suggested I hire an advisor, and I've actually made over $120K with their help during this market crash. They used defensive strategies to protect my portfolio and make profits despite the ups and downs.
I encountered Margaret Johnson Arndt through my wife, and I emailed her. She is guiding me. Since then, she has given me chances to buy and sell the stocks in which I'm interested in. You can hunt her up online if you require care supervision.
I greatly appreciate it. I'm fortunate to have come upon your message because investing greatly fascinates me. I'll look Margaret up and send her a message. You've truly motivated me. God's blessings on you.
Thanks alot for this video! I'ts rare to see someone this talented creatively, who is still down to earth. I really appreciate your content and attitude, keep up the great work!
I’m just starting out in video as my 2nd hurrah so being a beginner in my mid-30s feels harsh if not humbling. This was just the video I needed 🙏🏽🙏🏽 as are all yours, so thank you!
Love your content and it’s super inspirational/helpful. I was curious after watching a few of your POV vids if you could discuss the thought process behind your settings and gear choice behind each shot you’re taking. I love the way you work, incorporating several mediums and
Hey gaku, huge fan of your work on insta and I loved this video, super informative and I appreciate how u don’t gatekeep 🔐 I didn’t know u had a yt channel, looking forward to more :))
This video resonated with me very well. Professionalism sets you apart very subtly in a great way. I love how all the pictures turned out and I appreciate that the whole process was documented. The energy in all the photos were super dope. Great work! Subbed. 🙏
Hi Gaku Lange! Thank you for making this video. Wondering if you could share what cheap portable strobe lights you used for the shoot? I can't seem to find any good affordable ones. Appreciate sharing!
I used Wix for a few years and recently moved to Squarespace. I think most platforms give you the ability to create professional-looking sites nowadays but if you want integration with things like Shopify, then Squarespace is probably the easiest to work with!
Hey! Thanks for this video. I’d also like to know if the best way to make a website portfolio? The domain? The templated? A good reference would be great
Thank you so much for sharing this video! I am very new on this business, but I've taken good photos already to share with my friends and start building up my portfolio. I really need some good advice and I would be totally pleased with your help. I've done portraits, events photography (not weddings yet), boudoir photography, and friends that are selling lingerie clothing, solo, and couples photographs My question is: do I have to always edit all my photos? Or just when I feel the need for a simple adjustment of lighting or balance? I am mentioning this because with Event photos or family photos, they are almost more than 100 photos that look amazing out of the camera, and for me to edit each one will demand a huge amount of time 😔 As I am a beginner, I am going to start charging only for an hour or 2 photo shootings in order to gain more experience and people to know my photos. But this option was without editing as it will be at a very affordable price and delivery of around 50-100 great photos. I really appreciate anyone with their best advice, thanks!
Good God, 50-100 pics for family photos? Your gonna work yourself to death. 15-20 minute sessions, 5-10 digitals for bottom pricing. Work on upsells like prints, executive head shots, etc. Create packages for special occasions or holidays. Basic, Plus, & Premium are just some examples. This isn't life changing, but can lesson the workload, gain experience, and put a few bucks in your pocket while you grow. Hope this helps and I wish you good fortune.
Do you have any salesteam or person who gets the deal with the potential brands or they are coming and writing to you. How does this process going ? thank you
Mans doesn’t gatekeep 😫😫😫
