Delish!!!! Omg.. I was at The Oriental, Bangkok ages ago n was craving for spicy pasta -- couldn't believe it - the chef made me seafood Tom Yum linguine with loads of Thai chilies!! Best pasta ever!! Happy New Year!❤
@@buckbumble Luckyyyy. How did you get a discount though? I paid 15 percent more last time I was there. I usually visit once every 3 or 4 years. Depends on the weather of the Atlantic though. I take the long way.
This recipe hits all of the flavors of Tom Yum Soup! So incredibly good. The first time, I just used Tom Yum Paste and it turned out beautifully. Today, I made it from scratch and it’s even better!!! What a delight.
Stopped scrolling through videos when saw your video’s title. I love Tom Yum Goong. Never imagined a pasta version. Actually think I’ll try to make it. Thanks!
Splendid creation! Ive just made a simplified (weeknight) version. Instead of the prawn steps, I just threw in peeled prawns last step but replaced the shell flavour in the beginning with anchovy paste. I didn't bother with blending and straining, just removed the leaves etc and had the sauce a little chunkier. I think fresh tomatoes are better than tinned in this dish. This is definitely going to be a go to dish for us 😍 Thanks Marion
Chipping in my 2 cents: Maybe you can blend the prawn heads and shell along with the aromatic for maximum flavor? Since you're straining it anyway :) Ps: appreciate how you pronounced Tom-Yum correctly!
Marion, thank you so much for sharing this awesome recipe! Oh my goodness, I really enjoyed making this dish and truly enjoyed eating it~ sooo delicious! Love it!!! 10/19/19
Hi Marion. I LOVE, LOVE and LOVE your show. I would like to ask you if you can do week night family diner with children meal, please. My kids love watching your videos and asking me to ask you to do a video on fast, not spicy week night meals. Basically, children friendly meals. Please!
Amazing!1 Can smell it through the screen... could you do one rendition without using the blender but still pack full of flavour?? Short on tools here in my kitchen haha
Not the simple dishes like u always do.... Bought lemongrass, galangal & kaffir lime leaves specially for this dish.... & tastes nothing like tomyum without the extra squeeze of lime juice.... Thanks, Marion~ 💕 Yummilicious.... 😋😋😋
I've subscribed. When i heard that accent, i thought, this person will not make good thai food, then I found you were half. Like me!! I make fusion dishes all the time and traditional. It's great having a foot in two cultures. Besides food, you can really tell the differences between values. Better than Hot Thai Kitchen, she is too falsely smiling all the time.
Marion, you are a woman of your word. You said the flavour was intense and flavour wise it was one of the best meals I've ever had.

Has anyone made this using a tom yum paste instead? How much do you need?
The recipe didn't say to add the shallots with the lemongrass and galangal. I didn't add it so had it left over.
This is Sylvia-approved.
Wow
Are u a pasta lover lk me🤫🤫
Thumbs down every time UA-cam doesn’t get the wording right.
