Mikael is The best metal singer in my opinion. Love the voice, the clarity, the personality. And when he gets on stage, he is not only singing - he interacts with the audience and shows that he is happy to perform once again. And people love that..
First of all I wanna say I’m so glad to see Graham back, glad your doing better!!!! Mikael, I think your an amazing vocalist and hearing how you learned to scream is really cool I love this series, hopefully I you’ll do more interviews, I’m loving the halo effect keep up the great work.
You can say whatever you want about dark tranquillitys instrumentals/melodies but Mikaela voice is more addicting than crack. In every conversation when people ask who is your favorite band, I say DT because it bought me into the more heavy metal scene, the surpirs of people? I'm mir into classic death metal and technical death metal. But his voice, it's so unique. I try to see DT atleast once a year it's my drug, no other band have I seen this many times.
I don't think he is Shtahne, as pronounced here, but actually STahne. Because he is a Swede) Mikael really and truly is the greatest extreme vocalist to me because he comprises everything I was looking for, great extreme vocals plus awesome clean singing, and, last not least, incomparable lyrics. His English is so much better than that of many native speakers, and his poetic skills are breath-taking. All of that was, to me, best illustrated and demonstrated on Projector, the album I love above all in the DT catalog. He influenced me a lot as a singer too.
They played in Katwijk for their "The Gallery" tour, Bolts of Blazing Fire was so amazing ❤️ Got their first and second CD signed 💖 Had small conversation with Stanne Nice memories 💚💙💜
I had tickets for Impaled Nazarene and DT in Zaandam in '97 i think.. Huge fan of "The Gallery"and "The Mind's Eye" back then. Due to "logistic" problems the train had a 45 minute delay, and i stormed into the venue just to see these dudes in white blouses leave the stage.. DT was the main reason i even went there, so gutted! I got my reprisal a year later when they played in Hilversum btw, that was heyday DT!🤘
Dark Tranquillity was my first concert since the pandemic (I saw them alongside Ensiferum and Mariana's Rest). Incredible show. And I'll see Stanne preform again soon, this time with The Halo Effect as part of Amon Amarth Europe tour. Which will be really fun.
Same here! The DT/Ensiferum show was my first concert after the pandemic, then I saw him with The Halo Effect on the Amon Amarth tour, and hopefully I'm gonna see him again with DT supporting Amorphis and Eluveitie hahaha
Missed opportunity, I would have liked to hear what his experience with gaming was and what games he'd played, although the questions asked was good and great answers etc Mikael is for sure one of the metal singers I would like to hang out with the most!
Bathory were important for the metal believe it or not. For both Death and Black metal, they were a huge influence. It's sad that Quothon's death was overshadowed by Dimebag's death and there are still many people who don't even know the band Bathory.
his clean vocals on projector are fantastic. and one of the best lyricist in metal scene
100%
I love Mikael’s vocal style. Especially on ‘Character’ and ‘Fiction’ era Dark Tranquility!
One of the best metal singers nowadays, very very cool guy! His concerts are amazing!
Saw him live with The Halo Effect instead of Dark Tranquility but would definetly agree!!
Welcome back Graham, great to see you!
Super humble guy.
This guy has the most majestic clean & growl combination
Could listen to Mikael for hours. What a great person. Thank you!

The halo effect is amazing, especially Gateways ,that track just stays with me...
One of the best humans in metal. period
Great to have Graham back!
Not even 10k views after 6 months?? What a shame!! Mikael is one of the greatest, yet he seems so underappreciated... Long live Stanne! \m/
Dark tranquility and callenish circle were the two bands that made me want to learn how to scream
Nice CC shoutout! Nobody ever mentions them, they're from my country and have made some amazing melodeath albums!

Yeah dude i was shocked too. Like dude you just had hair till yesterday.
2:39 that’s why dark tranquillity and arch enemy got me into death metal

Good to see you back after the Chemo. Awesome that you have the energy to get back to work already.

@@marshallrc10 I've not seen Amorphis, but Eluveite have been good the times I've seen them.
I had the pleasure of meeting him at scout bar in Houston. One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to

i am not quite sure but i think i've seen Mikael in the mass, in on of the event halls. But as soon i realized may was him, he vanished :D
holy shit i was just searching to see if he had done one of these a few days ago hahaha
I learned to growl by trying to imitate this man's voice for the entire "Fiction" album
When I was 16, my voice was very close to his
I wonder how he sounded when he was with Hammerfall???
I learned how to scream by hitting myself in the shins with a hammer
you were all that mattered
dakr song, nice nice nice
That looked like Corey Taylor in the thumbnail.
H'es way better
If you are reading this... stay blessed and happy...for God love us all🥰🥳❤️❤️

What a sad way to fish for likes
God isn't real though
What was that morbid Angel song?
"Where the slime live"
Thank you sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much
Michael Shtahnah? hahahahahaha
