Love this. Currently, with the exception of my relationship with our Lord, every other aspect of my life has pretty much gone to hell in a hand basket. It is almost unbelievable how I am getting hit on all sides. So, this morning I woke up singing Marty Haugen's Psalm 25, read John 17, Jesus' prayer to the Father for us, and finished with "O God, beyond all praising". Singing is my path to God. Better than 100 prayers. I love the line " we will triumph though our sorrows and rise to bless you still." And the prayer of St Patrick, long version starts, "I arise today through a Mighty strength......". May we all arise today with strength and hope and clear purpose and joy and love of Christ, that we triumph through hardships and sorrows and live to share the love of Christ another day. Viva Christopher Rey.

I love Jesus because he never said it would be easy. I love that he said he is always with me. I think about my childhood and I think of the moments when He was looking over my shoulder, and loving to see me in my play, and in my relaxing in the sun or the shade of a tree. Jesus is right that only God is Good. Our lives are good because of Him. I pray that all can feel this Joy. I love St Paul because he tells us of the race. I love that we can persist on the journey and Jesus is beside us, ready to lift us when we stumble. God Bless you Fr Mark!

Thank you, Father Mark. This is so true. This reminded me of a video clip I recently saw online of a young fellow, probably in his mid 20s, who appeared to be paralyzed. He did have the ability to speak. Without promoting a product here, he was showing the viewers an overview of a brand-new instrument which allows him to enter data online without the use of his new limbs; it was incredible. And this part moved me - the first thing he does in the morning when he gets online is to read Scripture passages. I was like- wow! His faith filled dedication is incredible despite the severe physical restrictions he has in his present life. And this fellow appeared really happy throughout his presentation.

(GOD HIMSELF by indwelling you with HIS HOLY SPIRIT saves a person NOT masses or purgatory or sacraments or popes or priests or RCC man made traditions).
