The classic Ewan MacColl song performed by ex coalminer, Terry Faulkner, at the 'Songs and Rhymes from the Mines' event at the Pit Micro-Pub, Newstead Village, Nottinghamshire on 9th February 2019. It originally appeared on The Big Hewer, one of the BBC Radio Ballads recorded in the 1960's.

Terry didn't start singing till he was in his 30's. He should have been singing for a living instead of being down the pit in his younger days.
