Tribute to the Old Man: Eric Amos, Colliery Overman, (1933-2006)

Short video tribute to the Old Man, Eric Amos (1933 - 2006) a Colliery Overman at Bentinck and Annesley Collieries, who worked in the coalmining industry for 39 years from 1947 to 1986. He achieved a Class 1 Certificate in Mining (Managers Ticket) in 1958 but remained as a colliery official. He retired to Morecambe in Lancashire where he died in 2006. His and our beloved Step Mum, Alma Amos nee Morley d 2020, ashes were spread near their Annesley Colliery Village roots on 23rd June 2022. Both fondly remembered, Rest in peace.
