My toddler daughter goes here. She just started preschool gymnastic classes. She did a forward tumble on her own and a bear crawl on the high bars. Which is nothing in the grand scheme of things, but I was so proud of my little 3 year old.
I honestly think Chow is the best elite coach out there. Everyone else just wants their athletes to do well and that is it. Chow actually cares about their feelings. Great job on the vid 👍

What’s interesting that prior to opening his gym, he never worked with female gymnasts. In China, when he was a gymnast, women were kept separately from the men’s team except at competitions. So when he started teaching little girls, he focused on technique and power and explosion. Power and explosion is emphasized for men’s gymnastics. Many of his gymnasts are often noted to be very strong and powerful which is good timing since womens gymnastics has been shifting from the light pixie moves to power moves
I've heard 2 different stories on why she isn't with Chow anymore. The other story was that Chow didn't want Gabby to do all of the work outside of gymnastics like her reality show and stuff and to focus completely on training for the Olympics. The official statement that was put out was that they didn't agree on business terms so I guess it depends on how you interpret that.
+suecq01 I heard that chow also pushes them to try new skills and she wasn't liking that.... him and his wife make sure the athletes are taken care of physically(not injured), but push them to be better. If she would have stayed with him, god only knows how good she would be..,
Yeah, it is what it is and nothing can really change that at this point. I hope Chow continues to be a great coach to his athletes and I hope Gabby performs great at the Olympics

My thought is Coach Chow should have been appointed the Elite Developement Coordinator, but I guess that chance has passed since USAG has filed for bankruptcy. Can someone please help me understand more of what's going on right now...as of January 2019?
