    (Future Delta FA here) I was on a DL Flight and had a DL lanyard on, this passenger was struggling to grab his bag from the overhead bin, I got up and got it down for him, he’s like “do you work for delta?” I said no but I wanna be a FA for them this dude says “can I give you a tip, when you start working, the first thing you should do is change these meals” I was like “uhm aha ok lol” that’s not even part of the job I wanna do

    so like if your goal to be a flight attendant was to like work for a major US airline, you suggest you don’t go to college, do the airlines care if you go to college!?

    thank you so so so much!! What would you recommend because most airlines require you to be 21 what would you do in between you get out of high school and become 21? Should you work for a lower airline, also is there enough spots to become a flight attendant in the coming years?

      Go to college if you want. Work another job if you want. Work for an airline that does not require you to be 21.

    Did you always know you wanted to become a flight attendant? Did you go to college for it?

    • @CharliEdwards
      @CharliEdwards  9 місяців тому +1

      No, this is just temporary, I went to college for nursing and one day plan on going back for something else. And in the US we do not go to college or classes to be a FA if you want to work for a commercial US airline. There are classes for them, but they are considered scams.

      Like most jobs, they at least look at it especially if you have a job in a related field. BUT you do not have to have a college education to be a flight attendant. It’s not a requirement. I know lots and lots of FAs that didn’t go to college. As a huge proponent of education I would never tell someone not to go to college, but in this case, if being an FA is all you ever want to do you don’t need to.
