I live in enfield ct so many of these places that are haunted in ct are pretty far of a drive for me to visit them which is kinda a bummer because I have always been into stuff to do with the paranormal and ghosts and haunted location since I was really young
My first summer job in high school (‘72) was to cut grass in all Easton’s cemeteries. I must have cut Union cemetery at least a half dozen times. Back then I didn’t even know it was haunted.
I’ve been in these places for many times except the house I’ve never been into that house but walked near it many times. Nothing is really weird but you always feel the presence of something strange just like a spirit! So you have to be careful and respectful when you are there!
How could you not include the Old Congregational Burying Ground? My wife's relative who was hung for witchcraft is there. Goody was hanged at Gallows Brook, (Somewhere around W Broad St and Linden intersection in Stratford, Connecticut). Tradition holds that when Bassett was dragged to the Gallows, she desperately clawed at a large boulder, leaving her fingernail marks on the rock, which came to be known as Witch’s Rock. Unfortunately, Witch’s Rock is no more, but accounts of the markings still exist. Some accounts suggest that the boulder was lost among the construction of I-95, and creepier accounts suggest that it was taken by a nearby homeowner and used in the creation of a cellar wall. "Goody Bassett Olde-Fashioned Ice Cream Shoppe" in the Stratford town center which sells a nine-scoop treat named "Goody's Cauldron." When my brother and I passed through Connecticut, something followed us. We saw it as a black, shapeless form. It kept flitting in and out the shadows, the trees. First it started after the off ramp to Sandy Hook, and backed off around Hartford. That thing was so creepy.
I've been looking for someone who've seen this thing.....I've seen it in Seaside Park in Bridgeport CT.....I was taking a piss my friend was in the car and the dark just started coming at us I can tf out of there 😆 but I didn't see anything follow us .....but I think about that alot ....I've lived in a haunted house for years not any more.....but that was pretty frightening my friend seen it too....she doesn't like when I mention it but I don't go there after dark no more lol
@@jonathanharris8566 Wow! Yeah I’ve lived in at least two haunted houses, rent was cheap and they were in nice neighborhoods. I found out their tragic backstories from the neighbors, my landlords didn’t tell me about the deaths on the properties since by law they only had to tell me about the deaths if I was buying instead of renting (in those jurisdictions).
@@jonathanharris8566 The two haunted houses were in different states. As for the sighting of that thing in Connecticut, I was just passing through. I saw it while traveling on the highway.

I know this place called gravesfield. It’s been known for witchcraft for centuries. There’s a legend of two brother’s going missing due to a witch. Pretty spooky if you ask me

The Bible says that the dead have no more of any portion that is under the sun, also it says the living know that they will die but the dead knows not anything. Those spirits that people see are the spirits of demons portraying themselves as the people that died. The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus. Christ is not going to give eternal life to someone who accepted him just so that they can haunt people. Like I said those are the devil and his demons.
Yes! I’ve heard of this from a few religious ppl who do research. This isn’t the first time I’ve heard this. Totally disagree about Union Cemetery. I've seen shadows and even a demon once. Kids were there one Halloween years ago using a Ouija board. I'll never forget it.
