Same I'm currently using my vivosmart 4 and so far I dont have major complaints besides the small screen and it can be unresponsive sometimes. It even has a music controller which the charge 3 lacks plus it has the auto IQ which if you run it will detect that's you're running plus it has smart notifications and can even respond with basic responses
I have the Charge HR and are considering if Apple Watch4 is worth it, or the Charge3. I like the small form factor or the Charge3 (and the much lower cost). It's also nice that the Fitbit doesn't make it look like I'm wearing 2 watches when I have an automatic watch on the other wrist.
Andre Sartor maybe he’s comparing to what consumers already have. Apple watches are everywhere and they do have tracking, so maybe he’s just going for what’s most popular.

Had mine a week and so far very happy with it and despite a lot of comments saying there isn’t a face with a date on , there is an analogue face that also shows the date.
There is but it's a little disappointing you can't get the time if you don't use one of those faces. I love the stat heavy watch face but there isn't any way to get the date by swiping up or something. It would be nice if they put the date right next to the battery level.
I'm happy with it as well, but those are some minor annoyances.

I work in a place where customer proprietary info can't be breached. So no texting from watch features allowed. Its why i couldn't get the "smarter" watches. Had the charge hr and the charge 2 till i cracked it. Great watch, serves it's purpose well.
Apple should make their own fitness tracker to compete with Fitbit & it would be a great seller for them if they were to price it at $120-170 range like the Fitbits are priced so that it would be really competitively priced

I had charge3 for 1 year. So, after the year, a rubber band broken. I've replaced it to a longer one from the box (it was included, probably for thicker wrists) - and after a week it starts to endlessly auto pressing the main button... So now I just couldn't use it and it discharges battery really fast. I've cleaned it, took off all bands, but nothing substantially changed( Also, the warranty period is out. Now I'm thinking about another tracker, definitely not Fitbit. The screen is damaged a bit, some horizontal stripes have appeared. Also, it "counts" steps even when I just waiving my hands. So, based on my experience I definitely wouldn't recommend buying anything from Fitbit - it's just expensive, not so durable, and even can't properly perform its main task - count steps properly.
What band/color are you wearing with the Charge 3? I'm looking for a new band.
I don't use the notifications on my Charge 3, because I only want it to track my fitness, and I'm at 50% battery life after 6 days of use at the moment. I had some syncing issues the first few days, but after I reset the Fitbit and re downloaded the Fitbit app, I havent had any trouble, although it still takes forever to sync (something Fitbit should look into).
Can you compare the sleep tracking accuarcy between Huawei Honor Band 4 and this, please?
Unbelievable value don't listen to the trolls most of them don't own one. Track your sleep for seven days. Nothing compares or comes even close. Keep an eye on your heart 24 seven before a recharge. Don't listen to the trolls and buy. Best value.
Seven day battery for a health tracker that can prolong your life. This is a very small price to pay if you want to monitor your health,
The vivosmart 4 does almost the same thing as the charge 3. Its slightly cheaper and has the same about of battery life.

I work for Fitbit support, we have added 2 more clock faces that include the date, just make sure to update the tracker on the app as well as check the new app update to be able to see the new clock faces. Much more great updates coming soon.

If u have problems with any fitbit devices, beyond your own troubleshooting based on some onlibe tips and chat with Fitbit support... Fyi, Fitbit does not have any service or repair centres anywhere in the world. Once damaged, out of warranty... Just throw it away. Dont believe me? Contact fitbit support via chat and verify yourself.

Problem with these fitness bands is that they need to be synchronised to an always on Bluetooth smartphone app. This of course drains your phone's battery prematurely.
Don't know if the Fitbit includes a bood pressure sensor, but the one on mine is way off

Is it possible to measure sleep automatically with this device? Without heartbeat sensor is it possible?
Just returned mine today...the apps were very limited and not much room to customis them ..the clock has no military time (personal preference..) and it doesnt show the date only time,steps, and bpm with the few options they have. Maybe in the future ill revisit it again, if it developes a bit more. love that it is waterproof..extreamly lightweight..and charging time was very short 10 min tops for 100% battery.

Is there any voice commands? Basically one of the functions I use the most is setting timers with my voice so that’d be a deal breaker.

Heather Schneider it is using connected gps which basically means that you need to rely on your phone for the gps
Worked well for me aside from constant syncing issues then a few weeks out of warranty it started and taking on water like a sponge.

Since fitbit knows when im asleep and its connected to my phone via bluetooth is there a way to set it so it puts your phone on silent if you are sound asleep? My mom has a habit if calling over and over until i wake up.

I got one today, it's going straight back tomorrow! it doesn't sync properly, hundreds if not thousands have the same problem, the help forums show a multitude of other issues too!

It’s not a step up from Charge 2 when the 3 doesn’t have GPS for those of us who want to view our run on the app. I’ll stick to Charge 2. Great review tho’ glad I found out about the lack of GPS because I was all set to buy it!
Let's hope the silent alarm vibration is better on the Charge 3, unlike the Charge 2 . Where the silent vibration alarm is weak and pathetic. That is why I still use my Charge HR

The numbers on the watch face and the watch face itself are so small its really hard to see when you are running. The shaking about and the sunlight make it almost impossible to see while you are at full pace. I have to slow down and run into some shade so that I can determine my distance and pace. Then I have to swipe to get my time. Very annoying.
Get the versa line up over the charge 3, it aint worth it. or go for the the garmin lineup because those are really good for running.

It's easy, if you have a working FitBit charge 2 keep it. It's still a nice tracker. If you don't have a Fitbit but you want one or your Charge 2 is broken get the Charge 3

You should take a look at the Amazfit bip basically the same as that Fitbit but much better price and better battery prob

they do realize the garmin vivoactive has gps, is waterproof, has an activity tracker, has music controls, has notifications, you can download apps and watch faces from the garmin connect app store, its super thin and lightweight, and its only 90 dollars. :/

The ionic is the best of everything, but it's also more expensive. For the price of 1 ionic, I could practically buy 2 charge 3s. The Versa makes no sense IMO. It's cool that it can play music and stuff, but what's the point without GPS? You would need to carry your phone anyway for GPS, which at that point, why even bother with putting music on the watch?
The Watch doesn’t have a built-in sleep tracking app, but there are plenty of 3rd party ones out there! I have been sleeping with my Watch for a couple of years now and what is nice, is that it has a silent alarm which wakes you up by vibrating without waking up your partner.
Just ordered this, Im a bit annoyed already about the sneaky way Fitbit dont include fitpay on the normal models, they even show the Graphite model with the pay on the screen! - its not until you look closely you realise it is special editions only. I have had 2 fitbits previously, they are good for fitness but dont last long both breaking, will see how this one gets on

£150 is crazy price for what it is. The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 is only £20 and does pretty much the same thing but most people will have never heard of it.

If you want to check the time quickly, you have to turn it on - I really don't like this, even though it probably is the reason the battery life is longer. I do like that you can change the bands quickly and easily. The watch faces have been added to since this review, and they have the date, or whatever you want to see when you TURN ON the watch - the time does not display all the time.

Charge 2 for $30-$40 is best value. If you aren't looking for raw value.. Just throw down the cash for Versa.. Charge 3 is very skipable if you do not swim. Although I love the charge time

Holy shit, just talked to fitbit support and not only is the pixel 2 still not supported (including for new devices) but the pixel 3 isn't on their compatibility list either. From fitbit "We routinely test new devices to ensure full compatibility with Fitbit devices and the Fitbit app, and are constantly working to confirm compatibility with new phone models." which you should read as "we check to see if our products work with devices, but if they don't, oh well, who cares, move forward"
Fitbit Charge 3 is an upgrade of fitbit charge 2. But according to experts on techwhiff, Fitbit Charge 3 still has some minor bugs.

I hear people use smart watches in the shower. I find it hilarious.
But on the fitbit, I'm really glad it's water resistant. Not so keen on touch screen though. But I'm sure it's intuitive 👍😁. I would like to try it out.
I used my charge 3 in the shower, just because I can. It's mostly to clean underneath the watch, since residue builds up underneath. Since it's waterproof, I figure might as well clean underneath the watch while I shower. Plus, I sort of have an OCD where I want to track everything, even while I'm in the shower. lol.
My fitbit sucks, did the hard reset about 6 times in 3 months, doesn't even connect to my phone no more and the time is behind by 15 MInutes so I only use the distance tracker now... my name is Karen I want to speak to the manager of fitbit right now!

I like the physical tap of the FC2, the swipe seems kinda annoying. The tap took some getting used to but is much better than having to rely on the screen's touch sensitivity. So I can't really see any reason to upgrade.

It's unlikely they'll stick with one charger on the future either unless they decide to keep the same form factor for future watches
It's not that big of a deal. You only charge this thing what? Once, maybe twice a week? It's not like a phone where you need to charge it once or even twice a day.
Sent Back 3 FitBit Charges already............... bands break, rubber bubbles, loses sync, inaccurate heart monitoring. Got a full refund though............after 75 emails.
