Yes, it's called your mom.
I have owned several different fitbits. Here's what I recommend:
- Alta HR: If you want something that will mainly track your sleep, steps, and HR but not as complex at tracking your exercise this is it. Also it is slimmer and there are more design options. It will track your exercise but not as well as the charge 2. Charge holds 7 days
- Charge 2: If you workout a lot and want the best bang for your buck get this one. I use this one for my workouts (especially if you box and don't want something as bulky as the blaze). Unlike the Alta it has several different exercise modes and it has connected GPS. It also has guided breathing sessions if you are stressed and have anxiety. Charge holds 5 days.
- Blaze: This has a beautiful colorful screen. It has a touch screen and music control. 5 day charge. It is much bulkier than the charge 2 so if that doesn't bother you get this one. It really doesn't do more than the charge 2 though.
- Surge: If you run or bike several miles a week I would recommend this one. It has built in GPS so you don't need your phone like the blaze and the charge 2. It also costs the same as the Blaze. Holds charge for 7 days and GPS can run for 10 hours.
- Flex 2: I would get this more as an accessory or if you swim a lot (it's waterproof). It doesn't have a screen like the others so you have to go into the app to see what all you have done. Surprisingly it does track sleep and notifies you of calls.

I like the 8th option. It's so inexpensive, saved me a ton of money. I can go out for a run everyday feeling self-motivated and I don't even feel the weight of the fitness tracker on my wrist. Truly amazing technology!

I got the flex 2! I did not want a Fitbit with a screen because my wrist is really tiny so it would be to big! I am also a competitive swimmer so I need something tiny for when I swim! I love it so much and honestly it’s amazing because if I also had a screen I would be playing with it in class so I love this one and I totally recommend🖤🖤
Wish Nike would have continued to innovate their Fuel Band the platform was great , band design was simple and clean , the app was decent/interactive ....all for 75 dollars... at one point.

I do like moov now ... which has guided coach feature .
I am debating between Fitbit charge 2 , moov now , withings activite pop and misfit ray.
Please suggest a good for my requirement.

I just want a watch that will track how many steps i am actually taking. And one that tells time too. The hr monitor is a nice feature too as well as the calorie thing too. What would you recommend?

I'm a woman I don't like a thick design, so I like Alta HR. Although it doesn't track automatically the other kind of exercise mode (e.g. strength training), you can always manually log it. Other than that, it'll smart track in the most cardio exercises like running, elliptical, etc. I like it so much because it's super light!

The Flex 2 is really cool because I like the LED Display on it and it's easy to use.
I think Fitbit Charge 3 is the best among the products Fitness watches. I find the reviews on the tech whiff, it meets almost full of essential functions also have outstanding applications. Water resistance of Fitbit high charge you can swim delight.
Hey Lauren. You should check Xiaomi Mi Band 2. Very minimalist design and cheap though.

My Surge measures fairly accurately. My wife's Surge always shorts her on steps even though I've used a plethora of different settings trying to get it to be more accurate. We walk the same distance yet she's almost always 20% or so under mine (we are similar height etc. as well). Fitbit has been less than helpful regarding this issue when contacted. The fact that no matter what height/weight/stride I use hers is almost always 20% less than mine shows a design defect (and yes, I've had her use mine too in an attempt to figure out if her unit was faulty). Oh well ...
I have had the surge for 1.5 years. Love it
the smaller/slimmer the better, and the notifications from the Alta is pretty awesome.

I’m a hard core gym goer. Weights / bodybuilding. I brought a fitbit blaze to see if it helped in anyway shape or form in my fitness journey and I can honestly say it’s not for people who go gym and do bodybuilding activities. It helps in no way shape or form. As it does most stuff that my iPhone and for me I know my daily calorie intake and can track it so I don’t over eat or under eat from my fitness pal app. I think this is aimed more towards people who go jogging or do more cardio based stuff as to say I ran this far today in this amount of time and I did this many steps today. or aimed towards people who want to get fit and can track daily steps and calories burned doing so.
I'm thinking about getting the Fitbit zip or charge hr which one is better for walking?
I work out on a heavy bag a lot, mainly boxing, and Muay Thai style. Which one would be best for me?
To the general point I usually go to the gym so fitband as usual tracks fitness..and it would be a great handy tech to have as it's useful for day to day life and remove my laziness if I do any step less or more.😍

The Fitbit Alta is brilliant, I got it about a week ago I was looking for a watch but disliked how most of them looked so I researched Fitbit I decided that it had a fairly good price and I could wear it to school the Alta does everything I need it to tells me the time tracks my steps tells me how many calories I have burnt and even give me silent notification I would recommend this product to anyone

I have a Fitbit charge 2 which is so good. I really recommend it.
They also have the Fitbit flex (not the second one ) but they don’t have that one on their website anymore.

I got a Charge 2 today and my mum and her boyfriend have the same one but they’ve had theirs for almost a year now.
I wish there was one that was reasonably advanced (can monitor distance, speed, elevation,etc... for runs) that was small enough that I could attach to my existing watch. Is there anything like this that is reasonable inexpensive?

How does it calculate calories burned can someone explain im really excited to know. Can Fit bit flex count the calories i burn while i lift or do high intensity interval training cardio or walking? Please anyone that know pls help me out

I’m not saying this because I own it but I would personally recommend the Charge 2 because the battery lasts a while on regular use and it’s easy to move the menus around, it tells you to get off your backside every hour and try to do 250 steps and when you reach all your goals (that’s steps, floors, 250 hourly steps reached, calorie burn, distance, active minutes and sleep goal) then you can unlock this minigame called Fitbit Flight, and it’s basically like Flappy Bird on your Fitbit but with the step goal character. The Charge 2 is also not that expensive and you can change the straps too, that’s why I recommend it!
If you get a wrist wearable one get he if available and the charge 2 hr is the best in my opinion and I have one I wear it all the time unless I’m swimming or it’s dead
charge 2 worked for me. The price is just right and it does the basics: Heart Rate, steps, calories, distance and notifications. There are third party apps to send all notifications to it. Has been working great for me.

I received Blaze as a gift, it froze and the touch screen stopped working. So customer service sent a replacement. Replacement arrived and did not work lol so now I am here watching this review to see which one I want. Maybe the Charge

I am getting on that is a Alta hr and it has heart rate ,steps ,sleep, and tells you to get up if you have been sitting for to long
For Christmas I’m getting a plum Fitbit Alta, and I don’t mind that mines not coming with the heart rate cuz it’s meant to be inaccurate
The new watch inspire hr has all of this with a screen and it also tracks sleep heart rate and much more it is also water proof down to 50m the only thing is it does not track story’s climbed 😄
My fitbit alta will only work when it is plugged into the computer for charging. Even though it is fully charged, when you unplug it from the computer the fitbit screen goes black and stays black. It will not show any information. Does anyone know why or have any suggestions?

Does anyone do boxing and own a fit bit? I was thinking about buying one until I realised that a main part of my workout requires me to wear wraps and gloves. I don't want to break it my hitting the bag or something and I don't want to hurt my wrist. Any advice would be appreciated 😄

Get a Microsoft band 2 ($175)! Or even band 1. Both of them feature build in GPS, HR sensor, UV light sensor, skin temperature sensor , push notifications, and customizable tiles that let you pay at Starbucks. Look way better too! On Android and Windows, you can further customize the bands to your need, such as media control, customize bar code etc. Bands are light years ahead of ANY fitbit!
