Cloudcroft is a beautiful place. Highly recommend. I only get there once a year. When I get totally frustrated with summer heat in SE NM I run for Cloudcroft to remember cool mountain air.
My family would go to Cloudcroft for a week or two every summer when I was a kid. This brings back some really sweet memories, especially the hiking part. Brings back memories of doing that with my grandpa and dad.

There is a ski resort named Ski Apache located in Ruidoso, NM not far from this location. Their season and hours may be found online.
