Looks like I missed your video on the history of the Igbos. I'll make out time to look it up. But my take on that is;
1. Who are we? We are Igbos, which etymology is Ndi Gboo (Ancient people)
2. Where we come from? I don't know and while I appreciate the efforts of those seeking answers to that question, my interest is on the known, which is that we are here and belong here.
3. What to do? Put our efforts into collectively building and showcasing Igbo civilization which by extension will be the package, color and content of Black civilization the world is waiting for.
Yes as you rightly pointed out, we need to go back. modernize and improve on ihe dum eji mara Ndi-Igbo - Innovation, science & tech, agriculture, entertainment, commerce and enterprise and so forth,
In our egalitarian spirit and culture, we will always build with our cousins (minorities in SS). Those that separated us after the war, shared their oil blocs amongst themselves, took over and populated the oil companies' payrolls. Same people are on a mission even now to deepen this separation. We hope that these our cousins now understand their game and not fall for these manipulative strangers that never mean well for them.

And mind you, Ala-Igbo extends into these states with our people indigenous in these states. Adopting them into our wider plans will produce the most beneficial outcomes to both sides,

Stop looking for them. Look after yourself. It is common sense. You people need to learn history. They are capable of looking after themselves.

I support uniting the Igbos 100%, but if we are to pursue geo-politics in the context of Nigeria from this prism only, then we will end up getting them isolated by the other groups who are majorities in their states and who hold the reins of political power.
With that these majority groups with the political power will, out of suspicion or envy, limit and even frustrate any economic, social or cultural co-operation programs we want to extend to our people in their states.
You will end up having these Igbos denying their Igboness just to belong and get their due political patronages from their state govs.
Their state govt will then drift towards and cooperate more with SW and Northern states, thus squeezing us in the more.
Why do you think China is fending off US from the entire Indo-pacific using investments and economic support overtures to cajole its neighbors? Why do you think US insists that the entire American continent is its "sphere of influence" using the carrot and stick approach on its neighbors?
Why do you think Russia offered Ukraine a big financial package and took "special military operation" when Ukraine refused the offer but opted to dance towards European Union and NATO? These are even sovereign nations and they see the benefits of ensuring good and friendly neighborhood, how much more a region inside a country.

Nice documentary, please can you kindly shine light on the indigenous Igbo cow known as efi or ehi Igbo, we need to reintroduce it so that we can be food sufficient for the next Igbo pogrom which is inevitable with so much igbophobia in Nigeria.
