@ColinV03 I have an Archaeological Study Bible which came with some software - not quite as retro but still might be fun to check out in a video one day! Mouse clicks included. I actually did check again at Goodwill but the Nelson software is long gone, but I suspect it's pretty similar to the old Logos.
Windows 95 really set the standard in terms of how Windows looks even up to today. Win 3.1 is a bit foreign now, and you still needed to know DOS if you wanted to be efficient. Glad you enjoyed the trip down memory lane!
I am surprised/impressed by the functionality of this version (1.6), which seems to be more than commensurate with my memory of pre-Windows95. This version would be almost tolerable to me even now, with the single addition of a mouse with scroll wheel capabilities.
I had an MS-DOS 2.11 machine, which cost the earth. Didn't have much software for it though. A PASCAL compiler and a few other things. I paid way too much for it.
@@scottmcmullen6782 Somebody who has me beat! I started w/ MSDOS 6.22. I've hear of PASCAL and know a dev who started his career w/ it but never used it myself. Thanks for sharing!
I apologize for how loud those mouse clicks are - I had the USB mic too close to the mouse.
That's called ASMR and people pay extra for it. Feature, not bug.
@@ma-mo Ha! Retro Bible software ASMR.

I believe in my home we jumped straight from some DOS thingummy right to Windows 95.
This was a fun tour; thanks for taking us along!

This is awesome! It combines one of my two major interests, The history of the Bible and Computers!
Thanks! Two solid interests!
This was super cool and I had totally forgotten about it. I really enjoyed seeing this again so thanks for sharing.
Thanks! It's from a long time ago now.

@@John.Flower.Productions It's pretty powerful for the time! Really hard not having the scroll wheel.
Super cool! Reminds me of when I used computers! (Other than my phone)
It's hard to imagine playing a crossword game on a desktop PC now, that would definitely be a smart app today!
