Honestly, I think in the future they should use periodic updates to introduce regional variants or foreign pokemon, would be a nice way to bring back those that were left out if in the future they decide not to include the national DeX right off the bat. I would say they should make these incremental updates free though, seeing as most of the pokemon they would be introducing have existed for years.
To be honest the generation is basically completed, I wouldn't expect that many brand new pokèmon, the DLCs don't seem to focus on that. The first DLC was clearly focused on battles and so competitive (that's also why we got several new moves). The second DLC is focused on Exploration and Legendaries...
I love the pixel art sprites used as the pokemon icons. Sword and shield overall is a pretty good game. It's ok or mediocre at worst but if you like pokemon you should play it.
If you like Pokemon you should not support the lazy game freak by buying this lazy unfinished dlc game But most of the switch player haven’t play any 3DS game gen before and the switch game looks *new* for them anyway

Same here. Hopefully it’s just a glitch and they fix it. I have heard that you can put your pokemon into the daycare and when you reclaim them it then registers. Don’t know if that works 100% but it’s worth a shot if you want to complete this ASAP. Edit: daycare strategy does work

The only thing that is disappointing from this update is lack of new pokemon, all we got were the cubfu line and the galarian slowpoke line
